First time on the water this summer turned out to be fairly productive. We battled some windy conditions and were able to put several big fish in the boat.

IMO, a separate pole mount for your scope would save you some trouble. I ran into a wind situation at Sardis. Fishing into the wind with spot lock made it possible.

I agree. Especially in a smaller boat. Unless the fish you’re on is stationary it’s tough.
