hello friends
i have put to together this video as a sort of tribute to my first year of playing melee since joining my local scene last summer. less a combo video and more of a montage of moments that felt cool when i did them (so there is some stuff in here that isnt that cool i apologize)
shoutouts to everyone who i clipped in this video be them local or randoms online.
also shoutout to NS melee, AC melee as a whole and especially the PC boys who are always down to carpool to events despite the distance. love you all.
the song is Endless Fantasy by Anamanaguchi, which is from an album I listened to a lot when I watched my first livestream of competitive Melee (Evo 2013). the music always reminds me of simpler times of early university and the summer after graduating high school, which is a vibe i always find i tap into whenever i am back in halifax playing one of my favorite games with my favorite people. so it felt like a good choice for this video.
excited to keep playing and improving, i'll probably drop some more clip compilations in the future now that this has been made. appreciate you all.
