"In terms of the form....it's...it's a book." Best.Review.Ever. :) man, you crack me up, I love your reviews. So well done and what I really like seeing is how much you like the actual object itself along with what's contained in it. Take care and thanks for all the cool uploads!
Although it can take a hit on our ego's, we do not know everything - and as we grow in knowledge we convince ourselves we know more than we actually do. There is so much more that we do not know, than we do know. I am surprised when you introduce a book that I have not read or another interpretation of one I have. - I thought I acquired so much knowledge, but it is all relative. A happy albeit embarrassing surprise. - lol Thank you for making this video,
Have you ever heard of "theatre of the world" by Athanasius Kircher I'd really enjoy your insight also "knowledge of higher worlds and their attainment "by Rudolf Steiner please an thank you
I finally picked up this set and am currently working through Vol. 1, and pretty much every page has been mind-blowing. I keep having to stop to write down additional things I want to hunt down. Simply magnificent!
@@theophiluswalcott8069 I got them from Topaz Books online. I believe that is the author's own publishing company. The links are in the video description.
This is wild timing. I've been reading "Discoverie" lately (the 1886 version) and getting home from work I was intending to jump back in, not learn that there's even more to read. 😅 Aw man, Vol.2 is all the good bits! And here I've been listening to Scot's rants waiting for him to get to the bits about cunningfolk practices...
Just got the paperbacks in the mail. What an incredible work of scholarship. Lulu prints these in the US, and the paper quality and formatting are excellent. Excellent customer service from Topaz as well.
Apologies for the second comment, but page 7 was where you set up an example of the book quality.. and that page affirms the fact that I need to read this volume particularly.. being a good, patriotic Scot in some sense.. though more of a Southern Antiquarian by Regional History. I’m excited to discover the rest for myself. Many thanks 🙏 as well to Dr. Justin Sledge for his referral here. I’ve seen a few of your videos out of my direct feed pop up, but there’s definitely a tremendous amount of information available here. Thanks 🙏 again. Just ordered Volume 2.😊 Blessings.
These look incredible!... And a wonderful review as always. Thank you. I'm really looking forward to reading these, especially listening to such enthusiasm for them.
What a fantastic collection! I’ve been so intrigued by this fascinating topic and this may be a set I need to add to my library. Thank you for your great reviews on so many obscure topics.
These volumes represent a wonderful window into Elizabeth/James/Cromwell eras in areas of magic. For that alone I ordered all three volumes. Thank you for discovering these texts.
Very interesting and there's several other books on the Topaz Books site that appear to be worth a look. I do agree that premium for perfect bound hardcovers does seem a touch steep. Also, although it's possible to make significantly more via independent publishing, the fact that Madziarczyk has been flying under your radar all this time does indicate that maybe this wasn't the optimal choice for him.

In the same vein of bringing light to unsung heroes of occult editing/ modern editions of occult texts, have you ever considered reviewing the Tarl Warwick editions meant to provide quality editions on a budget. I'd very much like to see what you think of those editions
Personally, I'd say Troy Books would be the best place for these books. Troy are primarily Traditional Witchcraft so I'm sure it would be perfect for them (I've the set myself)
Ahh.. the Old Double-Edged Sword of Exposition. Strange.. i gave an answer and it was deleted. It is a book. You can download is as pdf. On page 9 is the picture. Book is from Peter de Abano Dont use google.
I went to his page and couldn’t just buy the three books had to purchase another one of his books. Thanks for the link to his books. I would however love to have these books in limited collectors edition numbered and signed by the author.
hello excellent video, sorry for going off topic but... what is your opinion about the work of franz bardon (sorry for my english, my main language is spanish)
I'm disappointed that you didn't say "It's just a bunch of Hocus Pocus" I'm unsubscribing. Jk. I love how he basically wrote instructions showing the hocus pocus and witches just flips it and uses it in actual practice.
I just got the 3 hardcovers from Lulu for 15% off. I can't wait to read them!

Great review as always Mr Fish. I've just ordered all 3 Hardback books as a New Year present to myself. I cannot wait to get stuck in.

Right! Yes, I strongly agree. Self-publishing is definitely an uphill struggle...
You'll probably find that the least advertised, least known books are the best.
Hm... That's also not always true 😅

I'd love to see what Scarlet Imprint (for example) could do with this!
They would be so beautiful. Leather bound with gold inlay. I love the idea of having each one a different colour also. Let’s keep our figures crossed.
