I used to teach university math, and then after that high school (ages 14-19) math before that, although I also have some experience with middle school (ages 10-14).

As I feel as though I pretty much got it as a freebie I had to order your Orphic Hymn Grimoire... what also seems like an excellent beginner introduction to aspects of the PGM.
Both areas of Magic I've been very excited to investigate, but as a beginner areas in which one should tread very carefully, if at all.

Just received my copy today, and I have trouble putting it down! What an absolutely invaluable resource for essentially any occultist or magick practitioner.
I just got it yesterday and I can't put it down. I love how she employs multiple senses in her magic and how she brings her magic books to life, treating them as living beings who partner her in her magic.

"I am black and my hair is dread", but ok. i worked at weiser bookstore for about 3 weeks, i had to quit. It was like a child in a candy store and I wasn't doing my job. Then i became a regular customer. In those days there were esoteric bookstores everywhere in lower Manhattan and they all knew me.
Weiser’s was the 1st metaphysical store I found back when they were in Greenwich Village, did you work there or the east side (was it Gramercy)? Wait were they on Bway & 8th as well? Either way I bet I ran into you at some point! I opened a shop in ‘96 off W. 8th St, then moved to the WVill, closed in ‘06. I got to see the Weiser’s all the time at trade shows & I was the only customer that recalled all their locations so they loved that I was so familiar w/ them; they’d always invite me to the rare book collection up in New England (memory fails me tonight sorry). This is funny. Was browsing through Watkins bookshop last week, picked this up, opened it, read a few lines, and decided to buy it on the spot. This is quite rare, as I tend to second guess a lot of what I see on the shelves of esoteric bookshops these days (must be old age setting in, I used to buy anything that looked shiny and mysterious…). But here there was no hesitation. The pages simply ooze with knowledge and scholarship, it’s obvious from the lightest of skim reads, the slightest of sideways glances…
And then once I’m back to la Belle France, I see this video in my feed… This certainly was meant to be. Or is it just that genius will out? Either way, I’m pleased I bought it. Thank you Denis, and thank you Sara if you’re reading this. I’ve only just begun this seminal work of yours, and I may already say that you can be very proud.

TSMFS, I was curious about this as I read everything before I add it as a resource when I teach. I haven’t found many that made it more palatable for someone interested but not experienced. It’s on my list to buy, read now thanks again for emptying my wallet😂! Jet 🧡🎸🎶⚡️🦋🏍
Loving the book so far. She is a gifted teacher for sure.
I have to agree that this is an excellent book that she’s written, much needed. I would agree that it is good for a beginner with some experience in ritual. For example, it’s a good option for a golden dawn Zelator initiate.
Understanding and utilising pentacles is a basic requirement before moving onto more complex forms of magic, like evocation .
Any suggestions on books for understanding the pentacles? I have a few books but my brain shuts down cause I don't understand it. I know you have the sigils but how do you even start? Cleansing your space, visualize. I need a step by step break down on this. I understand people practice differently. I do light candle magic but want to up my game.

IMHO Sefer Yetzirah by Kaplan is the best book on introduction to magic, kabbalah and mysticism.
