Today, we're checking out the Echolution 2 Ultra Pro and Filter Pro. Both pedals are the next step in Pigtronix's excellent Echolution programmable multi tap delay series. The Ultra Pro takes the processing power of the original Echolution 2 and augments it, offering 30 total algorithms for an unparalleled delay experience. Every parameter from delay time, to modulation wave to filter type can be assigned and implemented with several onboard rotary switches. The Echolution Ultra Pro adds 15 multitap modes as well as some new features like independent pitch shifting of each delay tap. Pigtronix has also provided players with a highly customizable companion app for both PC and Mac users, with a vastly expanded control set and the ability to send any preset directly to either Echolution. Both pedals feature true stereo in and out, assignable expression parameter, MIDI in and out and full compatibility with the Echolution 2 remote. Each Echolution pedal is designed and built right here in the USA using the best components money can buy.

Probably one of the best delays around - Ultra Pro is very under-rated

A lot of older reviews, probably from the original echolution, complain about heavy white noise when the blend is turned up. Is that still an issue on the Ultra Pro?

Nah, that's what presets and tap tempo are for :)
Javi G but you need to recall presets by hand unless you buy the extra $50 piece and create space for it

Not if you know what you want.
Theres 60 presets. Its not as bad as you'd think because you think "i want tape delay with lots of modulation" and you do that, save it to a song you made and you move onto next song.
At the cleanest brightest setting its still very dark
Eric sin which is odd as a digital delay.....at least give me the option of having clean bright delay taps. Like the idea, but not the design. Its 2018, if it has to he hooked to my computer to dig deep....no go. Gimme a phone/ipad app.
