This is the Pigtronix Echolution 2 Deluxe, a fully programmable multi-tap delay. The Echolution 2 is the result of years of intense development from David Koltai and the Pigtronix team. At the heart of this modern marvel is a mix of analog filtering and tone preservation with powerful digital functionality. The result is one pedal that will do it all, from single repeats up to 12 seconds, to filtered delay with modulation, reverse delay, ping pong and a new halo effect for shimmering repeats.
Great rendition of Wolf At The Door.
Nice to see a good old fashion pedal demo with Andy again. Not to mention, this is a really nice-sounding and unique delay. Well done Pigtronix.
those 2 jams at the end were sick
Wow. Another incredible demo from Andy.
Andy you kick ass as usual, I love Pigtronix! Super innovative stuff going on here
Super nice, the analog filtering/overdrive gives it a nice edge; I only miss the sweet switches for controlling the taps. All in all very nice, from the man who actually created the Deluxe Memory Man.
Wow, new levels of awesomeness, I'm glad Pigtronix is back in swing again, they seemed to have taken a hiatus for a while.
Nice demo. You do a good job of using the pedal's capabilites a bit, rather than trying to force feed the unit a bunch of tired old blues riffs...
My Pigtronix Envelope Phaser is a work of Superior Design and I love it.This looks awesome
Totally blown away by halo mode and dual tap tempo... :O
Interesting finish on that strat
Fantastic delay pedal!!
Looks like a great update. I maybe prefer the division switches on the previous version, but this one definitely demands some demo time.
Looks like Egon Spengler designed it, which is fantastic!
This pedal is awesome!
Just a suggestion, but you guys could list all the songs Andy plays on the description, so that we don't need to ask all the time which songs he's playing.
A Wolf at the Door, very nice!
I'm jazzed about this pedal. It shall be mine.
Great sound !! need it to Imponyse !!!
2:35 is "Wolf at the Door" by Radiohead. can't believe that ended up in a demo, one of my favorite songs
Badass! Badass! Did I just echo?
I'd like to see a demo of more standard delays. Like how well this can cop the modulation of a DMM. There was too much modulation and non-standard delay sounds in this demo for me to see if it something I would be interested in. Would you consider another demo focusing on basics? Subtle modulation?
Wolf at the Door...lovely!
wolf at the door, brilliant choice
i want to try this on my bass station II lol
At the beginning of the halo section, it sounds like a shimmer effect then speeds up, is that being controlled with the expression pedal?
That preset knob looks so loose at 4:22
+charlesmcguffy the knob has a tap secondary function so its above the top of the pedal you push it in to engage the preset
This pedal is darker sounding than a DMM or an Echoplex in the no filter brightest setting
Impressive! I would really enjoy playing with one of these. What guitar is that at 2:20? Looks like a Reverend!
Amazing! What kind of guitar is that
A WOLF AT THE DOOR FTW I LOVE YOUUUU
The song at 5:14 is crazy! Does anyone know the name?
wolf at the door i love u andy
As the kids say, amazeballs.
Whats that Jazzmaster/Jaguar Fender model??
I wonder how this would sound with the Lo-Fi Loop Junky, with a little bit of "warped record" warble and some pops and analog noise.
Hello friends ProGuitarShop! Good Morning! please could i ask a favor ?! I have a PigtronixEcholution Deluxe Delay pedal ... and for some time I bought an 8-pin Actition Foot Controller foot controller so I can explore more delays in our pedal! but I can not program our pedal! We already followed the instructions in the Pigtronix manual and I was unsuccessful! I searched for videos to have more information and nothing! when I press the up button the number that appears is "1-0-7" and the manual says it should have "1-2-7" and that's not it, please I need your help ... because our pedal It's wonderful and the foot controller is very expensive and I can't use them together! please! I appreciate your attention!
Andy can sell you anything!
Has enough features to make your head spin.
Why is this not for sale on the Pro Guitar Shop site?
Stock just started shipping to stores in the last few days. There were a few places to preorder which is the best way to get one. Mine just shipped yesterday from MusicToyz (and the just got stock that morning).
Phi! The Golden Ratio!
What is the song being played starting at 2:26 during the stereo ping pong demo?
Wolf at the Door by Radiohead I'm pretty sure.
It's a Burgundy Mist finish, I think.
I really love the song you play at 2:24; Is it your composition? And by the way, Andy, what is your lastname?
+MovingMazes It's time to learn radiohead man :)
+MovingMazes Wolf At The Door
Sorry, this pedal doesn't out do the timeline in anyway. Yes, you can sure make some space noises if that's what your after, but the timeline has tone. It's an essential part of my rig along with the big sky.
I was about to get a Strymon TimeLime for its ambiental delay machines but now I think this better suited for such task as building a wall of sound. Also the price tag is more attractive than that of the Strymon.
when can we buy
What’s the first song?
This looks and sounds nice but I think I'll stick with simpler delays...
now i have a new target !
how does this stack up to the TC triple delay?
the echolution 2 is so dope that i traded my TC Triple Flashback for one
this is one complex pedal, looks really fun though
+Bruce Lindsey it is very easy to use i promise lol
Dude.... Holy crap 5:15
I could have fun with this.
do you think it's cooler than timeline?
easily Daniel Ivanov
+Michael Maddox Daniel and Mick might differ with you
+Daniel Ivanov for me sound much better, the echolution 2 emulates incredibly good a tape delay, can be a really warm pedal, sometimes my friends does not know what im using because of the sounds u can get, cool and warm, when i started to use it, for me was sounding just like mimic mock that is complete analog, the timefactor sounded to cold for me, also incredible but did not conviced me
+joch zacahua my pe2d is one the way
+Eric sin sinner did u get it? how is it working for u?
Halo all the way!!!
Wolf at the door. :D
Want this bad!
Oh great, another pedal I have to have that I'll need to sell a kidney to afford. Nice sounds! Especially at 3 minutes.
After 5:00 are you fucking kidding me? Amazing.
This plus Sweet Honey OD plus Infinity Looper plus Avalanche Run plus Blackstar series one 200 watt equals.....I don't need my eyeballs anymore.......
Cool toy, but @ $400 it won't find its way to my pedalboard anytime soon.
WOW
Want.
As good as this looks, It seems a bit funny coming from a company who's slogan is "futuristic ANALOG technology"...
It has analog filtering.
True but I would expect something a bit cleverer from them. maybe digital control of an 100% analog signal path. I've seen it done with optical circuits.
Kelvin Reynolds Cleverer? You must be kidding. This is much more analog than anything else on the market with similar capabilities, plus the dry signal is still all analog. I don't think the Timeline and Timefactor have any analog filtering at all. (Grit on the Timeline sounds very 'modeled' even though it's a great pedal.)
Anyway, just ordered one and really looking forward to it!
You can't beat the non-linear feel of analog. It has limitations but part of making music is working within (and transcending) the limitation of your instrument.
Kelvin Reynolds There are plenty of all analog delays out there that are fine. AnalogMan's probably got the only one with presets (only 9 if you buy the add on 'Amaze' box. Still, this thing is cheaper, has more presets, has multi-tap, reverse, ping pong, halo, on and on. The repeat quality is incredibly musical. I'd take this over an analog delay any day (if I did have to chose).
Seems like Pigtronix is becoming a pricier, fancier EHX in enclosure design, names, and often even the pedals themselves fill very similar niches.
Designed by Howard Davis, who designed many of EHX's classic stuff like the Deluxe Memory Man.
Yup. He was also the original designer of EHX Attack Decay pedal, and then improved it with Pigtronix Attack Sustain.
PHI!
just buy a TC Flashback!!!
do what,sound all echo-eee lol
I use to use boss delays,i know lol then I got a flash back, and was like,Boss is Junk,2 boss delays couldn't do what one flashback can do : ) I like modulation delay myself,
after buying many diff brands of pedals,i will never go bk to boss, there from the stone age :
Sounds nice! but i don't like the design of the pedal!
