Thanks doctor. I was actively involved in sports for many years until Covid. I’m 34. I’m quite fit but I got diagnosed with stage 2 hepatomegaly (NAFLD) in January 2023. I also had HB1AC of 12 which was a shocker. I started walking and exercising. I went on a diet program under a dietician and after 3 months my LFT was normal. I’m still on and off with my diabetic condition but I’m sure I’ll pull things back. I have a family history of diabetes. It’s the night shift that is causing the damage and I’m working to get back to regular life. Thanks for your contributions. They are extremely helpful! Keep well!

I got an ultra sound done few years back, around 5 years back. I showed the reports to the doctor and they told me I’m fine, it’s a gynaecologist. I collected the report, went home and saw that I have fatty liver stage 2. I consulted the doctor and he /she told it’s absolutely fine, nowadays everyone has it. Such crappy doctors we meet sometimes.I have been trying to reduce my weight since then but all in vain.

Please work towards reversing it. I got my ultrasound that mentions Grade 1 just few days back. I have interacted with many Docs over a decade for my parents. I have learnt that Doctors can do only half the job. Rest 50% we have to do. We have to go get Liver Hba1c tests done on our own. Even my Doc did not say anything about it. I persisted and asked, he said exercise and diet will take care of it. But I am on high alert now and thank God for the internet.

HI All I am from India. one week before I got diagnosed with fatty liver grade 2. My ALT was 82 and AST was 55. I started IM fasting (16:8 window) with low carb diet (50 grams per day). I cut Sugar, fried items, and cabs from my diet. I consumed more veggies and few fewer sweet fruits (orange, apple, kiwis). I took fruits int the morning, boiled veggie and one jawar roti in lunch. I took boiled veggies in dinner. Also, I started brisk walking 10 kms everyday (5 Kms in the morning and 5 Kms in the evening). my ALT and AST are borderline normal within 10 days currently my ALT is 55 and AST is 35. it will further go down as I progresses. Sugar is the culprit.

@@Julie-pb7fe You need to prepare wheat and Jawar roti with 75% vegetables. that is must. it will control your carb consumption. You need chop vegetables and grind it in mixer and then use that paste in wheat or jowar flour. and eat this roti with leafy vegetables. preferred vegetables for making rotis are (cucumber, cabbage, Flower and beet root, pumpkin). take one vegetable in lunch and one in dinner for making rotis. then change another vegetable next day. follow this pattern for making rotis. and don't take stress. I just came across the video and thanks for sharing these details. I did the calculation and my score is -1.38 points. The evidence shows as Interdeterminant score but do not understand if it is F2 or F3.
    NAFLD Score Correlated Fibrosis Severity
    < -1.455 F0-F2
    -1.455 - 0.675 Indeterminant score
    > 0.675 F3-F4
I have lost 4 kgs since the report. Hope I am able to revert it.

I got an ultra scan done few years back, around 5 years back.
@drPal I started watching your videos few days back and following your intermittent fasting. Thanks for sharing these details, I will get my blood levels checked immediately.

cut out carbs. No bread pasta rice potatoes -sugar. Eat as the Dr says - the med diet. Eat high veg, fish white eggs, meat, lots of natural oils. Yes intermittent fasting. after 7pm do not eat till 2 pm next day -get hungry! it burns the liver fat off. Good luck.
