That was a sound clip played at the end.i can tell you for a fact that exact saw vibrates good on idle.
The bark box lets a lot of air out much more smoothly and seriously cuts down on resonance. It makes your ears smart but it has a few advantages.

Will this work with my MS880 too? The decomp no longer works so I usually just press the bar into log bark and run with it for a bump start. This looks so much easier. Thanks man!! Game changer!! 😆

That's cool and all, but I have 2 ways of doing it.
The 1st one, I'll just grab the pull cord handle and start swinging it around until it starts. For some reason it works better if you sing "You spin Me Round" while you're doing it.
2nd method, I just have Leatherface with me. Every time I need the chainsaw started, I'll have him do it. The only problem is that he gets carried away and..... Well, some times it gets messy, really messy and bloody. It usually gets worse on Spring Break, but he eventually gets tired and he hands it over.

On my Husqvarna i use a Makita 18 volt screwdriver to start it. Those Husky's become difficult to start after a while. Although you do good maintanance.
I have everything from Husqvarna. Even my motorcycle is from Husqvarna. A Norden 901 Expedition.

You never ask a salesman for cons of anything. This is a piece of life advice that is free before you buy anything cars machinery etc. go in the back and talk to the guys that work on it. They don’t get commission they don’t wanna work on you’re broken junk therefore they won’t normally lie to you. Use that information wisely
