Wow…the brunch looks amazing!! I am going to study in China very soon. May I ask, what maps application do you use? Apparently, Google Maps is banned and Baidu maps is all in Chinese😅
I use apple maps since I have an iPhone and haven't had any issues with its accuracy. However, if you don't have an iPhone I'm not sure which app would be best, sorry! Good luck with your studies! 🥰
@@ExpatNatt Fortunately, I am using an iphone….but I am more used to with Google Maps. I guess I have to start using apple maps then. Thank you for your reply. Looking forward to seeing your next videos!
@@itthiwatphiphopsukhawadee7865 I find apple maps really helpful, I only started using it when I moved here as I never had an iPhone before, but the usage is pretty easy and it's great for telling you how to get somewhere via different modes of transport which is very important in Shanghai 😅
Try GaoDe Map, the most widely used one in China. I'm 95% sure it can be set to English.

I get the feeling that the ambience in Chinese cafes is very comfy and warm; something that is contemporary. A lot of plants as shade are noticeable.
Asia has a big cafe hopping culture, which I love, so I love trying new cafes with that warm cozy ambience. There are so many in Shanghai 🥰

That is true. Unfortunately, where I live, the cafes aren't exactly well-designed. Perhaps in Singapore, you will find some.
@@ALIEN_857 in the city centre there’s definitely a high demand for this style cafe, where we live now outside of the city, there really aren’t many cafes at all except for starbucks. There’s definitely no western restaurants unless you consider McDonald’s and KFC western restaurants hahaha. I’ve never been to one near where we live unfortunately. Maybe due to the lack of foreigners outside of the city centre?

The composition of many of your shots are very nice! You obviously have a good eye for colors. One small suggestion on your painting is the treatment of edges of objects, maybe a bit more relaxed edge will bring out the beauty of the landscape more? Just a thought. Congratulations on the wedding and all the best.

Apart from the food, I am surprised at how the menu was professionally produced. And, it does seem that China is a contemporaneous vibrant society.
You can get both in China, little local places with no menus, and western fancier places with very good menus, many places you just scan the table QR code and order via your phone. If you prefer the traditional Chinese cuisine then you’d be better off visiting a small restaurant or street food vendor (I’ll take more about these in the next video). It depends on personal preference. I like to balance out western and traditional Chinese. You can pretty much find anything in Shanghai 🥰

Thank you! They have many non meat dishes like tteobbokki rice cakes, pancakes, and kimchi. You can also get vegetables for the bbq instead of meat! 🥰

Can you hold marriage licenses from both countries? Or you can only select one？
The marriage license is legal in both China and England so it doesn’t matter whether I have an English license or Chinese, both are valid. Many foreigners who marry Chinese choose to have both so they have it in both languages.
