This song was influential to him in his early years dancing. Yeah they both grew up with this song and he worked off and on for 2 years to get a remake of it put together - she was so excited to do this with him and he was so nervous to travel out the LA without the rest of the guys to do this project solo during a month when they were supposed to be on vacation LOL. Jhope was not on my radar. Then I saw him at lollapalooza and I was converted. He was such a rockstar! He totally levelled up as a performer. He also knew Becky loved the song so invited her to join him so we get 3 languages within one song Korean, Spanish and English. He basically grew up dancing to these songs and listening to these artist and to have the opportunity to collab, feature or dance to was his dream..so he wanted to do something fun with a song that brought him joy and reminisce on his youth..With BTS everything has a reason and substance. Yeah Becky definitely kept with kind of chill pop vibes here, but I think it suited the song! It might seem kind of a random collab, but Becky and j-hope met in 2017 and started texting, that's when they bonded over Chicken Noodle Soup being the first song that really inspired them to dance as kids, even on opposite sides of the world. I think j-hope paid more than $2mil to Bianca & Webstar for the song, and they always shout them out when performing it... it's kind of crazy to think he could do that considering BTS started out with no money, no connections, no hope of ever getting popular in America... they worked their way up against all the odds, and came to the point where they could casually pay millions to cover a childhood favourite song. Best concert in years (and I am 50 yo) was J Hope at Lollapalooza. I broke every record possible live ans on streaming. The most attendance in all Lolla. And it was fire!!! You will love it.

They’ve been around for 10+ years. They have hundreds of songs of all genres. Rap is important to them, but of course, they do pop music as well. They have several Cyphers you can check out. They don’t really fall into the KPop category much, these guys are different from mostly everything that comes out of S Korea. Give it a chance, if it’s not your thing, that’s ok too. J Hope has a song he does with J Cole, his idol.

Jhope performed this song with Becky G at lalapalooza in Chicago. Jhope is a born dancer he danced in competitions at 10 years old and won a national competition as well.
Yeah Becky definitely kept with kind of chill pop vibes here, but I think it suited the song! It might seem kind of a random collab, but Becky and j-hope met in 2017 and started texting, that's when they bonded over Chicken Noodle Soup being the first song that really inspired them to dance as kids, even on opposite sides of the world.
I think j-hope paid more than $2mil to Bianca & Webstar for the song, and they always shout them out when performing it... it's kind of crazy to think he could do that considering BTS started out with no money, no connections, no hope of ever getting popular in America... they worked their way up against all the odds, and came to the point where they could casually pay millions to cover a childhood favourite song.

As a group they are explosive (23 Guinness world records, numerous other accolade and world records as a group) but they are also individually amazing in their different style of music. They make a wide variety of genres of music like Hip-hop, Ballad, R&B, pop, EDM, etc. I'm sure there are quite a few of their over 300 songs that suit your taste. :)
Another song I recommend is "Run BTS". Their is no official MV for this one, they have a dance practice video and their live performance from their free Busan concert.

Also, would suggest checking out Jimin's "Set Me Free Pt.2" (not strictly rap since he's a vocalist, but it's a fantastic hip-hop anthem track), and for RM I would recommend either "Joke" or "Do You" (although, his "Moonchild" is my personal fave!). You could also check out more Agust D, honestly his whole second album (D-2) was an absolute masterpiece 😊

JHope is an amazing dancer. I think this song was just meant to be fun and to enjoy dancing. It wasn't meant to be serious. I'm not a huge fan of the song per se but it's fun when it comes on at concerts and stuff. You can't help but get in a good mood.

Guys, this song is in English, Spanish and Korean. Try to be more open minded, BTS is the biggest group in the world for a reason. JHope is one of three rappers, four vocalists. J Hope is also the main dancer and dance leader, so you can expect him to do a lot of that. You need to watch a guide by Taylor Mari so that you can learn who these guys are and how they became BTS. They’ve been around for 10+ years. They have hundreds of songs of all genres. Rap is important to them, but of course, they do pop music as well. They have several Cyphers you can check out. They don’t really fall into the KPop category much, these guys are different from mostly everything that comes out of S Korea. Give it a chance, if it’s not your thing, that’s ok too. J Hope has a song he does with J Cole, his idol.
