- Capitol Hill is a neighborhood in Seattle, Washington, located just east of the city's downtown core. It is known for its diverse community, lively nightlife, and arts scene.
Capitol Hill is home to many historic homes and buildings, as well as several parks, including Volunteer Park and Cal Anderson Park. The area is also known for its numerous coffee shops, restaurants, and bars, which cater to a young and eclectic crowd.
In addition to its nightlife, Capitol Hill is also a hub for Seattle's LGBT community and is home to many events and festivals throughout the year, including the Seattle Pride Parade and the Capitol Hill Block Party.

Thx for this video! I live in Seattle and there's a lot of negativity about it in the media that there's a lot of crime and homeless. Yes, we have a homeless issue driven by growth, just like all big cities...but the crime rate is half what it was 30 years ago when I moved here...and as you can see the city has many lovely and vibrant neighborhoods! I ❤ Seattle!

I lived in Capitol Hill in 97' and 98'....there were hardly any building higher than 4 stories. I left Seattle in 98' and returned for a visit in 21' and now there are buildings higher than 4 stories all over the place. And there where no trains going through and under. Way more urban-like now than what it was when I lived there.
That was a great walk! Only saw one passed out homeless guy at 1:27 at the Broadway bus stop. I guess one just steps over him and keeps walking 🫤
Didn't even mention the historical landmark Dick's Drive-In Burgers on Broadway just strolled right past it... word to My Posse On Broadway by Sir Mix A Lot.

Wow, Capitol Hill has CHANGED!! Very few small shops, and cafes now. Now there are banks, corporate eye care, printing stores, corporate, corporate, CORPORATE……YUK! It used to be CHARMING little boutiques, cafes, etc. VERY SAD!! The charm has left Capitol Hill!! Also, the CRIME has gone up 300% In the last few years. Too many drug addicted individuals, shootings, etc. Sad, Sad SAD!!

I was in Seattle in July. The town centre was a hellhole. Freaks, homeless, and drugged people everywhere. You had to take the bus 2 hours from the centre to arrive at a normal, clean neighbourhood.
