I went to high school with the artist who did that mural at 22:34. I didn't really know her but she was a super talented artist in school so I'm not surprised that she's now working as an artist. It's such a pretty mural and makes the building look so much better than before.
Another glorious day in paradise Seattle. Picnics on the grounds of the university as people soak up the sun and the old residence of the late great Bruce Lee a very informative walking tour.
Good Wednesday Morning My Friend IAM Hoping That You Are Having A Sensational Day This Is A Very Beautiful View Of The Campus 3:09 As Always Thank You So Much For Inviting And Sharing This Story With All Of Us Much Blessings And Love Always Ms British Gray From Tampa Florida 😊
The Actionkid goes back to school ! Nice walk 🚶♂️ on campus & in the local shopping district. Very trendy shops. Nice to see the Bruce Lee former apartment. 🐼
Beautiful campus 1:36 ,beautiful building on campus at ,very nice walk and it was great to see how beautiful campus they have in Seattle🙂4:35 nice stores and restaurants along your walk , enjoyable walk at the beautiful surroundings 😎Thank you for sharing A K 🙂👍!!!
University of Washington is a beautiful campus, and I like the old architectures and landscapes! 😍 U-District reminds me the vibes of Westwood Village near UCLA with a variety of eateries, and nice to know Ding Tea is in the area! 😋😎 30:28 It's fascinating to learn Bruce Lee used to live in this apartment building complex, and I really hope the city will preserve the building! 🤩 Sad to hear that his former home in HK was demolished. 😢 Thank you for sharing this informative and relaxing stroll, AK! 🤗
Wholly different ave from when I used to attend UW in early 80s. The only stores remaining are shigas , the uw bookstore and jack in the box. The ave used to be great. Punk rockers goth European bakery nordstrom Ms fields cookies kinkos pizza and salad quirky book stores eclectic UK and other novelty stores video game parlor etc... While I remember an amazing thai food place there were not as many asian restaurants as I see in the video. I miss the old ave and it will never come back but its still a wonderful place. Than you so much action kid for this great walkabout of the ave and UW. God bless.
Thanks for this campus walk. I enjoy walking on college campuses. I don't know if it's b/c I didn't go to college or what. But I just enjoy all the busy activities of the students. My daughter went to UNC-Wilmington (NC) and I swear I went to visit her every 3 months until she graduated Lol!! She didn't mind!
Just after eleven minutes, as you were walking west across Red Square, I was screaming at my TV for you to turn left. That would have given you the best view of Mount Rainier in the entire city. Look up 'UW Mt Rainier'.
From 1972 to 1976 I attended U Dub, and lived all four years at Haggett Hall, North Tower, Devoe House. That two tower building is currently being demolished after all these years. And the U District has certainly changed over the past 50 years ... obviously and naturally.
It's all so beautiful until the smoke rolls. Worse air quality in the world last summer. We're sitting right next to forests that are now dry fire wood.
You gave us a tour of restaurants, not a tour of great campus sites or interesting shops on the Ave. You gave us silence instead of a spoken guide. We learned nothing that wasn't related to food or Bruce Lee, who was just an actor, not a great man who cured cancer. Change your boring talk. Mention Nobel prize winners who taught at the UW, the world's greatest glass artist Chihully who taught at the UW and used to sell glass mugs and bowls on the steps of the art department for $15, the observatory and nuclear reactor, world famous medical center, and history of the area. You could have made your tour better. One thing bothers me - I saw one Black lady in your 40 minute tour. When I attended the UW 50 years ago, we had a truly diverse population of Black students, Asian, European, African and others. Has the UW become too white ? It was a great school with strong academics.
College campuses and their neighboring towns always have positive and nice vibes to them.
Absolutely!
You should check out West Seattle and Ballard
@@City2x ? Can you expound? More positivity there?
West Seattle has a nice waterfront park. People in West Seattle are generally pretty cool with one another.
@@michaelchin3550It's been years since I visited the neighborhood of Ballard.

Super cool, she’s such a talented artist!
Cool.

Butiful video
Thank you!
That library looks incredible! Wonder if you can film inside 😬
We call that the hogwarts library 😂
Hi AK !
Wait, what a different coast without a GoTrax scooter.
Has crime in the area subsided at all? I saw crazy shit happen along The Ave at night only a few years ago.
My granddaughters school!
Nobody says "U-Dubblyou.
We all call the University of Washington, "U-Dub".
Thanks for the insight
WOOF🐾
@@ActionKid You're welcome AK. Love your content.
Love these vids! Do you realise 385K people (subscribers) may now want to move to Seattle?
AK. Maybe University District is like UCF or UCLA?
Ak,Is University District like NYU area?
Manifesting 2027 😩😩😩
i live in udstrict :D
Seattle looks just like SF
Yes it does. However Seattleites don’t care to be compared to ‘my city by the bay’❤

i hate this place
