Hello Drew- I’ve been looking for small room makeovers and ran into your videos. You are not only talented but you convey excitement and joy in what you do! It rubs off!! Loved grandpa and your brother’s room makeover. If Josh’s room gets too hot, consider lining the curtains with thermal insulating lining. It’s fairy simple. The are already made linings out there, but I bought the fabric and made it myself as it is cheaper. The fabric doesn’t fray so not necessary to do any sewing if that’s your choice. Just cut it to size and attach it to the top on the back of the existing curtains using extra strength Velcro. Or sew (by hand or machine) a pocket to insert a rod and use the 2 rod system. No need to hem. I have very large windows in my bedroom- hot in the summer, cold in the winter.... Using the thermal/insulating lining has been a game changer! The extra plus is a super dark room!! All the best ❤️🌺
