I prefer petrol engines personally but your points are valid. I love changing gears, the sound of the engine and the enjoyment I get from it. I would consider one as a 2nd car but the inconvenience of charging where I live is a bit of a put off at the moment.
I’m driving a Audi q4 etron sportback for around 3 months and it’s strange when i go back to a normal car. You adapt so fast to things like no-engine noise (big advantage also when listening to music) and especially the self/recuperate braking. I think i almost never touch my brakes. The only point where i stil love a petrol car is when you want to do something unexpected. I don’t charge my car every day and In Belgium there aren’t a lot of chargers. And in the big city’s those chargers are most of the time taken.
@@WiZe1972 I must say otherwise I'm happy with the range of my Q4 Etron. Most of the time I have around 500 kilometers (one time in the good/hot weather 600 kilometers) range. It is in situations, like having around 100 kilometers left, and you want to do something unplanned/unexpected. With a petrol car you can go to the gas station and there is no problem. Like i said, In Belgium and especially in the bigger cities it's more difficult to find a loading point which is available. Also in a lot of parking stations they only have 2 or 3 spots for loading a Electric car which is ridiculous. But I'm not regretting to go electric.
The ability to precondition the car, or stay parked in the car at the desired temperature without having to bother with an engine running.
What kind of rims are those? they look incredible. Great looking car man! I get mine tomorrow, so excited.
Japan Racing SL01… Congrats on your car delivery!

Fair enough… I love both ICE and EV but I’m currently more attracted by a vintage car rather than a current one

Good points, still haven’t experienced a situation where I don’t have enough range

Superb car when you travel a lot across Europe. 😂😂😂 An electric car is designed to drive around a city at present. 🚠
Guess what? I’m about to go on a road-trip to Tuscany. Follow me on instagram: wize1972 in order to see how pleasant it will be 😙🥳
