The pacing looks amazing blisteringly quick, exactly what I want to play right now
Hearing the backstory about his father and how this game is in honor of him, plus the music, visuals and gameplay, I definitely want to give this a try!
Hearing the guy speak about his dad was really heartwarming, it doesnt quite look like dread/hollow knight levels of fun but definitely looks like a good pickup nonetheless.
As someone who loves meteroid dread, absolutely picking this one up!!!!

Have you played metroid dread? Hollow knight? Metroidvania fans have been fed. There are a lot out good ones. Hollowknight has a really bad early game that makes it hard to get into but if you’d can get past the geo bs it’s really good. Dread is a perfect video game with absolutely no flaws and would 1000/10 perfect recommend
@@joelsytairo6338 Yes, I have played Dread (I know I should love it, but I don’t - sorry 😞). I LOVED most parts of Hollow Knight, but they took the game too far and they never knew when to quit and I lost interest in the end -still it gave me MONTHS of awesome gameplay. Ori: Will of the wisps was basically made for me. I loved every single detail of that game.
This look really cool, and it's always nice to get games that are inspired by other cultures besides European.

I'm fascinated to know what you're referring to. I can only think of Dark Souls as "inspired by European culture".
The majority of popular games inspired by regional culture are inspired by Japanese culture. Other than that, most games are pretty much free of any sort of cultural inspiration.

Looks amazing, reminds me of Metroid Dread and Hollow Knight
dont want to be mean but how does this game remind you of those two games? The only thing they have in common is that they are metroidvania games (i mean i suppose this game is metroidvania) metroid dread and holow knight look completely different
The graphic style reminds me of Metroid Dread, the movement and abilities remind me of Hollow Knight @@22_and_unkissed

The natural aesthetic and the fluid movements reminds me of Ori and the blind forest.
Visually it reminds me of Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze and Jet Kave Adventure. Hollow Knight is much more zoomed in and the pace is different, plus totally different art style. This game doesn't really look like a metroidvania, more like a left to right (or right to left) levels kind of game.
Day 1 buy for me if they release it physically for sure. Game looks cool

The music and visuals are great! Platforming isn't my type of game but I can appreciate its direction
It looks a metroidvania in the vein and of dread. It will probably be more combat oriented than platforming.

@@geeblinHD I think we’re getting to a point with this medium where true innovation and brand new ideas have sort of run dry. If you can do something tried and true and do it well and make it fun to play, I say do it. That’s why so many people love Dread. It doesn’t do anything new or innovative; it does an old formula well. No harm in that

Im trying to remember this one game i played the demo of .it has the lore of India and its a platformer 3d. Cant remember the name. I like games that has ancient lore and or history and different culture and backgrounds in them .

Wait... That's.... EA! ELECTRONIC ARTS! NOOO! I bet half the game is locked behind 20 different paywalls with them having their hands in it... Or maybe hopefully Nintendo's quality control and whoever that Surgent studios name in there are gonna ensure you at least get the full basic story mode game within your initial purchase...
It's specifically under the EA Originals branding, which also put out It Takes Two, A Way Out, Wild Hearts, and Fe to name a few. Those games were pretty void of EA's usual BS-ery, though I do remember some controversy around Wild Hearts being a Monster Hunter clone or something, idk. So I think this game will be a complete product on launch and that you have nothing to worry about.
