There is very little difference between real and synthetic diamonds. The only reason synthetic diamonds are undervalued and real diamonds are so expensive is because of the debeers group. Debeers was a mining company that ruled the diamond market for almost a century. This allowed them to single handedly manipulate the market to artificially inflate the value of diamonds through artificial scarcity. They were also responsible for coming up with the concept of diamond engagement rings and played a major role in convincing people that synthetic diamonds were cheap and worthless.
DeBeers has been trying to get the word 'diamond' copyrighted for years so only their product can carry the name.
They 'harvest' tons of diamonds from a beach every day, only to put them into long-term storage.

The funniest part is that synthetic diamonds tend to have fewer impurities. You can’t actually tell for sure if a diamond is mined or synthetic, but the man made ones tend to be more pure.

I have an immune system too. That didn't stop me from getting my brother sick in February with a cold. Nor did it stop me from possibly getting food poisoning last week and having a nasty fever that lasted a few days right before I was supposed to leave for a trip. Nor did it stop me at 12/13 from getting untreated pneumonia to the point of developping fluids in my lungs. Okay maybe my immune system is wack but when I was sick a week ago I was shocked I felt alive and didn't die on the couch. I felt so good I left for the trip still sick and I didn't look sick at all and ended up recovering the day after.

Ok I served in the Navy. This, of course, means that I survived boot camp as provided by said military branch. I can tell you right now, that getting through boot camp does not make you more alpha. Boot camp is the most powerful indoctrination method that the federal government has to control people. Don't get me wrong, I am proud of what I did, and that I survived it. I just am equally confident of how brainwashed I was when I left boot camp. It is an extremely effective method of assuring that you will obey any order subsequently given. I can't explain how they do it. I just know that they do. Saying that military treatment would make you an "alpha" male, which is the stupidest expression currently known to man anyway, is dumbassery.
Also, isn't being an alpha all about breaking the system and "escaping the matrix" ?

Geez. I’m extremely allergic to curry,chilli and pepper. So bad that I rarely eat in restaurants. One of my husbands friends invites us over for a bbq. My husband makes it extremely clear that I am allergic. We all sit down to eat and the meat smells and looks amazing. Took 2 bites of my steak when the “friend” says see you can’t taste it can you? I asked what? He said the pepper rub I put on it. My husband lost his nut and we left. I spent 5 hours on the bathroom floor in agony, one trip to the emergency room and 5 days with severely inflamed intestines and bowels. Please for the love of all you hold dear. DO NOT MESS WITH ANYONES FOOD PREFERENCES OR ALLERGIES!! If he hadn’t told me and I’d kept eating it would have caused emergency surgery or possible death.
This reminds me of my blood kin. None of them take allergies seriously unless you start to die five minutes after. Just end up in agony and swollen up for days throwing up? It’s fine you’re dramatic. So happy my new family understands even if they are sad I can’t eat something specific they love, they care more for my health over their egos.
I never understood why people are so fucking nonchalant about these things. I have a friend who is severely allergic to multiple common food ingredients, she accidentally ingested it and had to go to the hospital because she went into anyphylactic shock and her boyfriend had the audacity to question her on it, implying it wasn't that bad when I was literally right next to her the entire time.
Another good friend of mine is allergic to apples, tomatoes and bell pepper, only in fresh form but cooked and baked in food is okay and while those unfortunately are three of my favorite foods ever, like I can eat bell pepper and tomatoes raw as a snack cause I love it so much, why would I ever force my allergic friend to eat it? It would achieve nothing but an allergic reaction (Not sure how severe but I don't want to take any chances) and one less friendship. So fucking stupid.

I hate the people that try to "test" your allergy. It seems like they believe that an allergy is synonymous with just not liking food. It isnt. This is especially prevalent with parents and their children where they just assume their child is bratty, doesnt want to eat smth and then lie about being allergic.
This exact thing happened to my mother, she became extremely allergic to fish, not deathly allergic thankfully, more like spent the next hour under the water faucet allergic, and when she told her parents she didnt want to eat fish anymore because it makes her mouth hurt/swell, they just proceeded to secretly mix some of it into her food....
Absolutely disgusting. Please, just believe people when they tell you they cant eat smth, especially children and especially your own children.
I would've definitely reported it to the police and sued them for damages. At that point, it's attempted murder since they knew you were allergic, there are no excuses. I'd also never talk to them again.

Isn't white plastic like... just the basic color and it's lighter and/or easier to make? Kind of how most airplanes are painted white most of the time because it's the "lightest" color, adding a bunch of pigments to it actually increasing the weight in such large scales? So making white robots is basically just a cost cutting measure.

I can't say for robot parts... but I work in a food-container factory and like 90% of our molded product (sour cream and Cool Whip and yogurt containers/lids) are white because:
1. It's the cheapest colorant
2. We need a colorant of some kind to help block light that would allow bacteria and mold to grow
3. It's easiest to print the designs onto.
When I worked in a shampoo factory, similar logic was why we bought "Titanium Oxide and Mica" at a number of 'mulch-sized' bags that required a pallet... but the total amount of, say, FD&C Yellow dye on-hand could fit in the cup I'm currently sipping juice out of.

And in the factory, they drain out all the previous colorant before adding the next colorant... so it's not adding any substantial weight. BUT it does still add to the price, and not by a small amount.
White reflects most light. A white surface absorbs the least light which converts into heat. An airplane flying relatively high in the sky should be white to stay cool. This could be the case for robots too?
I just assumed it was because any fluid or damage is easier to spot on white.
I guess the 'basic' color would be transparent or something that lookes like washed out glass. White may be the cheapest coloring option though.

This is exactly why I've grown to loathe Halloween in the people. I absolutely ADORE the holiday, it's my favorite time of year but when you have these people who feel the need to ruin it for everyone but themselves, you just can't help but look forward to just staying home.
The Rock bit is so wholesome. Also, there's a really funny story of him and his daughter. So he voiced Maui in Moana, and he was watching it with his youngest daughter after it came out. And she didn't know he was in it. So when Maui started singing his song "You're Welcome," he started singing along with the movie to show her it was his voice. His daughter then told him to be quiet because she wanted to hear the song.
