Any possible way to get the STL files or purchase the STL files from you to start building one of my own it would be an awesome build I've been a long time model boat builder and now trying out my 3D printed model boats any help would be awesome willing to pay for the files thank you
Have you made the follow up video? I would love to see the rest and the final project! I am considering building one for myself! Thank you! Amazing model!
As a Former Trustee for a Titanic Historical Society and have been on the 1996 Expedition for the recovery of the "Big Piece", this in my view is one of the best I have seen as a 3D. even for a Proto. I love the fact you made the Funnels work and even at just 1 having smoke is not cause for concern. not all of the Boilers would be working at all times. 1 really for being in port for electrical power and so forth. I hope this will be not torn down even after the first one finished. you could just simply change the promenade deck with open deck as it could be the Olympic. never mind of making it split in half. I also love the place where you did the pre "sea trials' for it to check the water tightness and also the back up system for any flooding that may occur. I can not wait to see the complete ship. maybe the Navigation lights and some decking lights will be good for this as well.
First I am really impressed with the fact that you designed it sketch up and that it was your first time. When I first tried to design a ship hull in 3d for 3d Printing five years ago I tried sketch up but I got so frustrated that I gave up on sketch up and went with some thinking else.
Good Sir, I know this is just one comment but I just wanted to say. As a Titanic fan, it would be our joy to see your huge model completed and I know can speak for all of the titanic fans out there. It's just so hard to get a grip of well documented models out there. What a dream come true to see such fine model and the fact that you are able to launch it in water. Really really fascinated!
Instead of pumps, during the construction could you have injected closed-cell spray foam? (I watched most of the clip, but did skip around a bit meaning I didn't hear everything you said)
Im on of the local historians on the titanic and I went to the museum in pigeon forge tennessee and I actually told them more than they actually knew about the ship.
Just a quick note regarding how small people think the rudder was in comparison to the ship.....the design of the hull was no different to the tried and tested shape of many ships for years before...everything was just upscaled. The rudder weighed 101 tonnes. Commodore Warwick of the Queen Mary said that at speed, you only had to turn the wheel 2cm and the ship would respond with a change in direction, same principle as turning your wheel at speed in a car, mm's is all that is needed. These ships wernt required to turn in port without the use of tugs.
Buonasera complimenti per il modello mi piace tantissimo vi potevo chiederei se è possibile stl da stampare mi piacerebbe realizzarlo dinamico più piccolo grazie attendo vostra risposta
18:00 only 3 working funnels... very good...the real boat had only 3 too...the 4th. was only just for show...and for the AC/ventilation for the kitchen - for what it was hopelessly oversized...! ;-) b.t.w. GREAT WORK...!!!
I would have paid you more than Titanic expo. Are you able to make me one? I'll pay up to 10,000 USD. Of course I would want it just as accurate as the one you built. Also would you be able to sail it to the states? I can drive to any port to retrieve it. The reason I would like for you to sail it is because I can only imagine the shipping cost. Yet me know if your able to make that happen. You being some smart marine engineering dude, I bet you can sail that bad boy to Houston or Miami if you really wanted too. Let me know.
Omg man that is Awesome! But I couldn't help in hearing you repeatedly refer to its lenth as the same lenth of a canoe, with that in mind, did it ever cross your mind to actually build one that you could actually pilot yourself or build it a wee bit longer so you & a mate could pilot one sitting in tandem, I'm also a titanic buff myself and I also live on a lake, so I've toyed with the idea myself the problem is I lack the room or a garage to build it in, so I spread the idea around in hopes someone might be inspired by it, and to save space I thought of using troll motors for power, because nothing but wires run down the shaft of one except wires therefore the housing & propellers could be made modular & could be mounted anywhere, I realize building such a craft like this that everything below the waterline may need to be modified and would not be authentically accurate, but as long as everything above the waterline is correct who's going to know, anyway my friend its a ship of dreams I just hope it becomes a reality. 😜👍

You should post some more videos because I really want to see more projects like that

Can we have the STL file to print it ? Even if we have to buy the file its fine
WOW COOL
how did this turn out i want to build a big model just because lol

Wouldn't have been easier printing a Drop Bear instead?... Watch out for icebergs, eh!?!
Kudos from Canada
But... This is the first video and also a last video... Haha this is only Ep 01,and where is the Ep 02 ???
Well i do also think that your funnels are too small bcs if you look at real pics of the titanic, they seem taller
Titanic fearless meme
No footage? Sad.
Why there horror music on background sound?
