I was just talking to someone the other day about naval jelly. I hadnt seen it for quite a while and wasnt sure it still existed. I would apply it a bit heavy and leave it on for a while. It always impressed me how well it worked.

I bet the heater core is leaking. Hence the rust on the passenger side. I use Eastwood rust encapsulater for rust like that

think i have already sold it but i think i know where another one is. another thing to remember if the alternator was to quit charging the regulator is in the computer what we do is use the later type the flat electronic dodge regulator easy to wire up and don't have to replace computer easy to wire up and you probably have everything laying around to convert to external regulator i think the alternator guy on you tube has a kit@@phillipsrundripbubblecompa9232
