Farmhouse Dining Table Makeover - How to make an old wooden table look new and expensive

I came across this old table that was destined for the trash, but I recognized its potential to become something new. With a little bit of creativity and elbow grease, I knew I could turn it into a farmhouse-style table that's in high demand.
First, I tackled the worn-out varnish by scraping it off using a heat gun, revealing the beautiful natural wood underneath. Once the old varnish was removed, I sanded down the surface to create a smooth and even texture, preparing it for the next steps of the makeover.
To achieve that coveted farmhouse look, I applied a gray paint wash to the table, effectively neutralizing any unwanted orange undertones that were present in the wood. This step not only helped to enhance the natural beauty of the wood but also gave it that charming rustic appearance that's so popular in farmhouse decor.
