Is their approach to finding the right speed really that the piano was set to 452Hz of British military music?

I have recently acquired the book of Chris Zwarg "Speeds & Keys".
All piano recordings at London before 20 October 1904 were pitched at 452 Hz and changed to 435 Hz with Melba recordings and thereafter.
However, Orchestra accomp still used A=452 until late September 1906 for Gramophone/Zonophone.
Generally, adjacent matrix numbers have nearly the same speed which have evidenced that piano used 435 Hz but 452 Hz for Orchestra and Military bands.
Military bands still used A=452 Hz in 1920s.
