    What I did was get a WIFI extender and put it on the back porch. It gives me full signal.
    My computer is running windows 10 Pro just fine. I noticed that several cameras stopped showing up on my desktop.
    I bought another WIFI extender and put it in the garage not far from the camera on the other side of the house.
    The quality was not go good until I got the extender.
    I clone my drive (C) every week and keep 4 in rotation. I put a week old drive (C) in my computer and all the computer showed
    up right away. I took out my Wavlink HD cloning station and reversed cloned my drive (C). Now all my cameras
    show up on both my home desktop computer and my phone.

    Why do I need the ethernet cable? I thought this connected via wi-fi?

      Just to set it up first so your router stores the camara info then just unplug the ethernet cable and camara runs on wifi its pretty much like jump leads from one car to another to get it started, I couldn't set it up in the same way as the E1 zoom.

      I have mine both on WIFI and a ethernet cable plugged into it. I know you have to have an ethernet cable plugged into it when you first unpack it and set it up. After that it can go with WIFI.
      I have mine on the back porch which has a WIFI repeater hooked into a 4 port switch. I just ran a short ethernet cable from the switch to the camera. I don't know if it helps but if it does it sure makes me feel better.
      I know about trying to get customer service in these days is hard to do.

    Hello there.
    I just set up my Wifi Trackmix and am experiencing a few problems.
    The first thing is that when I tap the wide angle view mode, it just says loading stream and nothing more. When I tap the zoom in view mode, it loads up right away and can operate it from there. When I tap the feature that allows both modes to load and view simultaneously, it works just fine as well. I simply don't understand why I cannot operate it when I try to operate it in wide angle view mode only?
    Also, after looking through all the features and customizing them up to my liking, now I cannot access the camera in any mode whatsoever? It just says connection failed every time now when trying to view the live stream? Yet the camera continues to detect, pan and tilt as I turned the auto tracking on before I lost control of the camera. Can you offer any insight please?

    I have a Reolink Trackmix WIFI camera on my back porch. I don't know what happened but it has stopped working. When I plug it into the power adaptor nothing happens. Usually this camera will do a calibration dance. Do you think I need to remove the SD card cover and do a hard reset? Any suggestions would be welcome.

    I have mine on my back porch. It is on my WIFI system which may not get the best coverage. I do have an ethernet cable from my router plugged into a network switch there. My camera is powered by 110vac on my back porch.
    Can I also plug the camera's ethernet into my switch on my back porch to ensure a good connection?

    3:17 Why do you plug in an ethernet cable if this camera is wifi only? If not using an ethernet cable, how do you protect the ethernet port hole that branches from the power cable?

    Once I set up my WIFI and then disconnect the ETH cable, I lose access to the camera. What could be the issue? The WIFI does connect successfully.

    no one at tech support can answer my question either, if there is movemnt outside for over an hour, will camera stop recording after two or three minutes like the Arlo cameras and some other cameras? they just stop recording after the two minutes up.

      I believe so as not to fill up the SD card. A 256 micro SD card is the largest this camera will take. It will give you about 2-3 months of video on it. If you find something you want to keep you can download it to your computer and find it in the Reolink folder.

    Question: is the Ethernet Plug of te TrackMix WiFi Model also capable of receiving Power over Ethernet (PoE). I would love the flexibility of using PoE instead of WiFi if it turns out to be more efficient.

    • @ReolinkCameras
      @ReolinkCameras  10 місяців тому

      Hi, the TrackMix WiFi could only work with wifi, if you prefer to PoE, you may please choose TrackMix PoE:reolink.club/47dfmYg. Thank you.

    I'm unclear on the installation of these cameras. Do I need to run both a ethernet cable and a power cable to every camera? Or will it get power off the cat6 , and only have to run one?

    • @mountaindewmartin7204
      @mountaindewmartin7204 Рік тому +1

      If your cat6 is connected direct to an NVR or a POE switch you won’t need to connect a power cable.

    • @offshoreandoutdoors
      @offshoreandoutdoors Рік тому

      @Mountain Dew Martin is the small ethernet cable they provide not cat6? Because I don't have power with just that plugged into nvr.

    • @mountaindewmartin7204
      @mountaindewmartin7204 Рік тому

      @@offshoreandoutdoors I believe they provide Cat5 patch cables in the box but, even cat5 should support POE. As long as you have either the 8 port or the 16 port NVR (the 32 port doesn’t support POE directly) it should power up automatically when connected directly in (it may take 4/5 minutes of being plugged in to boot up the first time). Try a different cat5 / cat6 cable if you have one and try plugging it into one of the different ports on the NVR and If the camera is still not powering up then look like you might have to contact support from Reolink’s website. Worth mentioning the NVR has to be powered and switched on but I’m sure you are aware.

    • @offshoreandoutdoors
      @offshoreandoutdoors Рік тому

      @Mountain Dew Martin these are wifi cameras they don't do POE

    • @mountaindewmartin7204
      @mountaindewmartin7204 Рік тому +1

      @@offshoreandoutdoors ah, sorry. Yes I don’t think the Wi-Fi cameras support POE. You’ll have to plug into the wall, although it means you don’t have to run Ethernet to it aswell, you can just run it off the wifi. Sorry about that.

      I’ve been thinking of buying it. Do you mind sharing what were the pros and cons? I have the Blink system and it’s all cons when it comes to have the LIVE view load up. It takes forever and I can only see LIVE view with my mobile network and it never turns on when I’m connected to my home WiFi. That’s been my biggest problem when it shows movement, i swipe to open on the notification, and it just keeps loading forever til I CANCEL then press the regular LIVE and I’m able to see it but all late after them fkkn neighbors have passed by with their dog that was taking a shit at my house.

      I bought 3 of these cameras and none of them could connect to my wifi the only time will work if the ethernet cable connected to the cameras, I called customer servises for help, it was useless and that more than one times and diffrent people they are so stupid and lack of knowledge, 3 days ago they took my info and they told me a higher customer support will email me to fix the issue with my wifi connection, Im still waiting, the problem with customers support its hard to understand the tech with their heavy accent, Im thinking to return all camera to Amazon, even Amazon tech could not figure it out on how to fix the wifi connection problem, My Router one of the best , its ASUS ROG RAPTURE GT-AXE 11000 its has 2.4GHz, 5GHz, and 6GHz@@ralphzitro3537

    No instructions at all with reguard to the sd card, the card slot & cover are shown micro sd card is obvious but no mention of how many gb card it can handle, as it's a camera class 10 or higher will be the go. You can assume it'd be 32gb compatible but can ot take 128gb,256gb? No one knows, no mention is made anywhere!
