thanks for giving us a raw and honest experience about how well this works i didn’t wanna ruin my jeans without knowing for sure this is a good idea but this video sold me and now my jeans actually look good on me 😭❤️
It worksss! I've been losing weight lately and my pants are down to 2 sizes, and that shoelace saves me from going to the tailor or buying a new pants 😁 i am still a couple kg away from my weight goal so I will keep using this shoelace before buying new pants. Thank you for this video!
hi! first of all i wanted to thank you for trying this method and make us see if it really works! i just tried and it works great, cheap and fast method, i love it lol a tip for everyone: if you got a crochet hook or knitting tools you can tape an end of the shoe lace to the hook and use that to guide the shoelace through the wait band, it's a lot easier, i don't have bobby pins and this have really work good for me🤗
Yiu sounds like someone who is afraid they gonna judge I think is a good quick fix and the best thing about it is that I’ll feel good I did it my self ❤️
This hack is amazing!!!!!!! I used this on a pair of pants that just barely fit but I didn't want to sew them and now they don't ride down!!!!!!! God send for weight fluctuations.
I would probably draw it to my waist and then make a knot on each end instead of tying together because sometimes, you gotta get in the bathroom and the knot don't want to come undone and it's an emergency... But otherwise I probably wouldn't even get them tailored.
its 4 AM and i finished at 5… 😪 had some breaks in-between and my jeans have ALOT of stitches that block the shoe lace from getting to the other side so i ended up making barely noticeable tiny holes all over the place but now my jeans r finally wearable and im SOO relived and happy 🤗 i also had a weird gap in the front and it got rid of it
i don't usually need to tie any knots to secure the lace to the bobby pin. maybe because the bobby pins i had were all really tight, all i have to do is simply fold the shoelace 2 inches in from one end, slide the folded end in between the bobby pin, and it's secured. i find it easier to sting a drawstring without any knots inside (at least for men's running shorts, and pajamas). i used to restring the drawstrings a lot when i was little because i was too stupid to just tie a knot at the right place, and oftentimes, the drawstring would slip into the waistband. ironically, i was smart enough to use my mom's bobby pins to get the drawstring out.
My jeans had stitches from tags that kept blocking the shoelace from going through, make sure those are undone! The Bobby pin really helps make it easier to guide the lace too 😊
Okay so people might not trust this video but she really helped me so here’s some things you can do 1. When you are doing this make sure it’s a shoelace. (I used a shoelace from a shoe that I wore last year winter and because the shoe is not so cute.) 2. I wore the jeans on just to see what it looks like before I fixed it. (Literally fell off😭.) 3. I got some cramps on my thumb while pulling the shoelace though the waist part. 4. I put the hole where she put the hole it’s the perfect spot!! 5. After I put it through and pulled a piece out for me to tie I put the jeans on so that I can tie it obvi! 6. The last part when you’re finished zipping buttoning and tying unscrunch the jeans like kinda move the little scrunches to the back part!! 7. YOU’RE DONE!! Enjoy your jeans.
@@inviolentjaguar268 why not get a cool lookin belt though? Idk if i get the cut holes in jeans for fashion stuff, but i guess i never really got the ripped jeans trend either i got ripped jeans but thats from work

Girl!! I'm down for quick and easy! I don't sew So I'm going to try this! Thank you for sharing
Yes!! And so much cheaper than getting it tailored. Thank you for watching!

@@ayoFinn no they’re still the same x
Thank you for saving my life because I almost had to wear pants that didn't fit me to school they were size 14 and I need a size 10

I tried it, it works! I'm so happy. i really hated the idea of putting on a belt, I'm glad I no longer have to!
I have a pair of jeans that need this so badly, I'm so happy I found this!
DEF gonna try this. the jeans i’m gonna do these on have so much space in the front and it looks super baggy on me. thank you so much
that bobby pin trick is a LIFE SAVER tysmmmm

thank u so much!!! this hack helped me so much & saved me a pair of jeans!! (:
Yesss I’m so glad!!

omg it worked!!! thank you so much for this amazing and relatable video haha
I just took a hoodie string and used that!!

Sure it may look scrunched afterwards but remember you can wear a belt too, to conceal it
I need this hack because I want to wear my dad's jeans tomorrow 😂
i'm so grateful for this trick, now i can wear all the wrong size jeans that i bought 😂
I tried this guys and it works, feels comfortable it’s just the process of getting that shoe string in 😂
hey!! any adivce on how to push it through the entire waistband exactly?
My jeans had stitches from tags that kept blocking the shoelace from going through, make sure those are undone! The Bobby pin really helps make it easier to guide the lace too 😊
You can also tape the shoelace to a straw then it should be easier to push the straw through!
@@jjocelynk i couldn’t figure it out and then i saw your comment and it saved my life lmao thank you
I have a long metal wire and I think I'm gonna push the whole wire through and then attach the string to the other end to pull that through
Or use a safety pin
Omg thanks I don’t have a sewing machine and this was urgent tysm ❤
This how u put the string of your ballet slippers. I forgot about this hack
You can also use a chopstick tapped to the lace
I just tried this and it worked!
Life saver right here🖤✌
We have the same marks/stripes on the back, you know how we got em? Are they like stretch marks?
Yes they’re stretch marks! I’ve had them since middle school from growing really quickly back then 😊
@@aglimpseofgold ahaaa, that makes sense!
Gonna go get my dads jeans!
I WORKED AND ITS SUPER CUTE TYYYYYYYYYYSMMMMM
did the holes get bigger when u washed the jeans?
@@ayoFinn nah they stayed the same for me
what i do recommend is use like a long thin object instead of s safety pin, bc i hurt myself lol ;-;
took forever and my thumb feels like its broken. but so worth it 🙏🙏
tysmmmm this was so helpful
Wow ,i will definetly try this
This is such a good hack ! Going to use it today thanks 🥰
I had an elastic one of those from a hoodie. Kicking myself for not taking it with me when I moved.
this hack saved my life
this worked... thank you 🙌🏾🙌🏾
where'd you get that pendant? I have the same one and I think youre the only other person ive seen who has it
You are a life saver thankkk you soo much
That's so smart!
I’m in shock that this worked
it’s taking me so long to put this shoe string in my pants 😭 what am i doing wrong? i have it on a bobby pin
Thnk u so much...now it's all fit ...😭😭💕
Thanks a very useful it works for my jeans shorts too
I love this hack❤❤❤❤
I have some sweatpants that are too big in the waist and actually can’t be adjusted, could this hack work them?
Thank you so much this helped so much
how do you take off the stitches/tags from the jeans?
Nice channel and beautiful tips 🎁🤗
what should i do if the sewn on label covers the whole wasteband?
I had the same issue with the label, I had to snip the label stitching to give the shoelace enough space to go through!
THANK YOUUU SO MUCH ❤
TYSM THIS HELPED

You could also use a belt
Love the before. It's comfy gf jeans and makes a guy want to slip his hand around her waist ❤️
would this same method work on cargo’s ?
it should work on any pair of pants
Great idea
Where did you get the mauve pink top. It’s so freaking cuteee!!!😍🤩🤩💕
Thank you!! its from aritzia 😊
What happens when they're being washed though?
I get this might just be a fashion thing but why not use a fashionable belt instead?
Shoe strings look tacky as belts
@@inviolentjaguar268 why not get a cool lookin belt though? Idk if i get the cut holes in jeans for fashion stuff, but i guess i never really got the ripped jeans trend either i got ripped jeans but thats from work
You should make a clothing line like that
isn't it hard to get the shoelace all the way through the jeans?
Jethro on the Beverly Hillbillies did it first. This is such a good Hack. But they look good on you,
Thank you so much 😭😭💕
I will try
Wow
It works
I tied the shoelace to a pencil instead of a bobby pin and it’s way faster 😊 this is a great hack
Omg that’s a great idea I should’ve tried that!
GENIUS
In indai we call it nada every person use this
I love you so much thank you
Why not just use belt???
tysm
I tried this and it wouldn’t even go through
