Once upon a time I bought a brand new Redmi Note 3 for 9k. Can't believe the Note 13 Pro+ is 32k now 😅😅
Till note 8 the phones were 10000-15000. Note 9 was 13-20. Note 12 was way overpriced for 4 gen 1 20-25k. This is too much at 30k

Gone are the days when their "Note" series was affordable and price worthy.
Motorola has done good with giving us better options with great specs and smaller and premium designs.
Edit : Typing this with the Redmi note 10 pro (₹17k). Still the best value for money phone by Redmi.❤

I was really excited for this launch as smartphones were expected to be rightly priced this year. But with the start of the year Redmi has set the benchmark for overpricing and no wonder all subsequent launches from other brands are going to be overpriced as well

Only reason to buy redmi note was because of the custom roms available for snap dragon chipset. With that gone there's no point in getting this.

Once Redmi was a top player in under 10-15K now Moto, and Infinix are better. The same with 20-25K is happening, Moto edge 40 with IP68, Metal frame, wireless charging, and way better s/w experience can be bought for 25-26K in offer. Fun fact Iqoo Neo 7 pro with SD 8+Gen1 can be availed for 32-33K(128GB version) with offers
Nowdays We are getting really good hardware even in budget segment. But the main problem that most of the brands are ignoring is software. Like miui is still so buggy & choppy to use. Brands are just putting good hardware but don't wanna improve their software. So it's high time for tech reviewers like you to raise this issue.

32k is budget segment for you?
Moto has been doing a killer job in budget and mid range segment. I don't think this has any edge over the edge 40 bro especially with 7-9k price difference. redmi lost it's mojo
Previously Redmi note series was also competitive in budget range but now the bar is set mid range budget ..... The reason why I have been avoiding buying Redmi phones for the last 3 years still gonna stick with redmi note 10s

The best value for money option from Xiaomi currently is the Poco F5. Hands down. Makes much more sense to get it than the new redmi note.
I was about to get redmi note 13pro+ but there is redmi note 12 turbo(poco f5) which is about same price. Can you tell me more why its the best value for money
@@boldsaikhanbulgankhuu5343 it's because the Snapdragon 7+ gen 2 processor is a better performer in terms of parallel processing and pure gaming than the 7s gen 2. Also you get it a good deal cheaper than the new phones and I personally prefer the Poco launcher more than the miui launcher as it has less bloatware and is more similar to vanilla Android than redmi and mi launchers. Hope this helped
I recently purchased Moto Edge 40 & it's much better option than Redmi. Definitely go for Moto Edge 40 under 30k.

I think that the "plain" 13 pro is a more vfm choise, i mean that the processor in the pro isn't a deal breaker and has a larger battery, what's your opinion ?
And second, can you explain why the plus is so much heavier ? The same also happened in the 12 series, the pro plus is significantly heavier than the pro, is something that has to do with the built quality ?
maybe because of the camera sensor as the plus has a 200mp samsung hm3, the same sensor as s23 ultra

Why not buy Poco F5. The camera is weak but the other specs are top notch like 7 plus gen 2 processor and is usually available for good discount
About its weight, es of course the build quality is better on Plus making it heavier, but the vegan leather variant is lighter than the glass finish at only 199 grams on Plus.

Is it really necessary to remove the sd card slot? I mean i'm okay with removing the headphone jack but the sd card slot? Nah. I was really looking to upgrade my redmi note 10 with a new redmi phone. But I guess I'm gonna choose a different brand. Samsung I guess.
You can go for Samsung but you'll get thick bezels, slow charging and exynos in exchange for SD card 😂
That's just subjective. I don't mind the thick bezels and slow charging. I just want to avoid the issues that comes with redmi. especially the heating issues.

I think Redmi note 12 turbo is better than this 13 pro plus. Personally i don't like curve display and under display fingerprint. I just miss water proof on the turbo.

I think it is because the SoC kinda in limited number produced by Qualcomm..so instead of using it Xiaomi moving into more mass produced SoC..way cheaper..

agreed, new features additions are great.
Honestly redmi note 8 pro standing strong here. Good performance, great battery, hdr display, 20mp front camera, and a freakin auto focus macro lense. This is what we called value at that time. After 5 version of the redmi pro series still it has same ultrawide camera, pull out auto focus macro lense, and just a 16mp front camera. Seems like downgrade to me.
Still using note 8 pro. I really wanted to upgrade but guess I'll wait for other brands to launch phones.

Of all the smartphones Redmi has launched, the redmi note 3 and the redmi note 10 stand apart. Both of them blew the competition right away. It's sad to see Xiaomi loosing the "value for money" tag slowly.

Why is the Xiaomi Redmi still using USB to Type C instead of Type C to Type C? I agree that if you want to connect to a laptop that doesn't have a Type C port, it would be problematic and you would need to buy another cable.

You're definitely right about the "Ultra", not only in Dimensity 7200, but also in Dimensity 8200, 8300 etc because I've also looked up on Google and I've found no difference between DM 7200 and DM 7200 Ultra, just like I've found absolutely no difference between Dimensity 8200 and Dimensity 8200 Ultra & Dimensity 8300 and Dimensity 8300 Ultra. I don't know why aome OEMs use the term "Ultra" in some of the Mediatek processors they use to power their phones. It's just like a marketing strategy or term with a view to mislead people. Anyway, a very good review and I really appreciate it, keep up the good work👍👍👍
