i have a k&n air filter that replaces the original air box cover plus the k&n cone filter like the one he has on mine and it seems to get better throttle response
@Brendon00000 Ill definitely make a vid on mixing 2 stroke oil. Ill do the ounce/fuel conversion and stuff like that. Thanks for the suggestion and thanks for watching!
Your best bet is to fill the front radiator completely then ride the quad and get it up to temp. The system has to "purge" meaning get all the air out. Once it has purged all the air out then wait for it to completely cool then top off the rad and the reserve tank.
@MegaMetalXLR 32:1 is without a doubt what most people run. By running amsoil at 40:1 my banshee top end lasted 4 years of hard riding. So 40:1 works for me. Thanks for watching :)
THIS IS A GREAT THING TO DO!!!! Ok I didnt do this much and after one ride i was wondering why my axle was acting funny i look at it BOTH axle locking nuts were off the threads.
nice banshee and great video, could you make another video on 2 stroke mix for the banshee and what is recommended? if someone screws that up is the whole engine that will need replacing
thx yeah my radiator is full. i have another question...say in the future i need a top end, and say i got with a big bore kit, would i have to upgrade the crank to run it?
So bascially theres 2 spots for me to put in coolant, the radiator and the reserve tank. And the reserve tank is something you fill yourself correct? There is no hose which send coolant into it. Thanks for all the help. Its heavily apreciated.
Can you please give me a step by step process as to do I fill the front radiator with coolant and the back, or does it flow to the white coolant tank by itself? Sorry I'm trying to learn to do maintance by myself and save some money
@salam929 Well right now the bottom end of the engine is torn apart. Ill list the mods that itll be rebuilt with. Hydrodynamics +2+1 a arms with Hydrodynamics shocks, g-force axle, all balls bearings, TORS eliminator, pro circuit platinum pipes, K&N air filter, Holeshot HD tires, Tether, 4mm Hotrods crank shaft with long rods, head shaved .030, .030 wiseco pistons with aggressive trail port, 280 mains, 27.5 pilot. I run 40:1 amsoil interceptor.
There is a drain plug located under the water pump cover. There is a brass plate and the lower bolt on the plate is a drain plug. It's very slow though. IMO you're better off popping off the bottom radiator hose.
@jlsparky7 Not to say your ratio is wrong, but I've seen in numerous places that 32:1 is a balanced mix. Should make a video for fuel mixing, and also for winter storage prep for those of us up in the north!!! Great videos man!!
thank you for the helpfull answer on my previuos question Sparky. got another one here for you :). yesterday i forgot to turn off The gas flued.and today all The gas has run out on The floor. my question is have i damaged anything now? is it just to fill The tank again and thats it or what? plz reply asap.
Hey, stupid question, what's the difference between an air filter and air box? Also can you give the brands you use for all of the coolants and oils you pointed out? Thanks!
good work bro, keep my banshee running sweet!
Thank u for this video!!! im debating on getting a banshee and wanted to see if it was alot of work to maintane but it doesnt seem to bad thank u!
Glad you like em, tons more coming this summer :)

@400exjason Thanks a ton man. I put a lot of time and research into it. Glad its appreciated :)

thats a lot of great tips even though i dont do half that stuff but probly should
Correct, however the reserve tank may catch some spill over fluid from the rad.
Mine are holding up pretty well.. I think im gunna get the GNCC style next and try those.
@bakedenjoi I just switched from interceptor to dominator this year because its red so you can see if the gas is mixed. That and it smells better :)

I run mine on 32:1 of 93 octane + Super M oil. For the crankcase I use Amsoil 10w-40. Seems to run well.
fattony123082 Sweet! whatever works for ya
Thanks a ton man! :)
@jlsparky7 its thicker also. Wouldnt surprise me if you get alittle longer life out of the top end with it.
@catz279 No. Some people remove the resivoir from under the seat. No big deal.
@H95Shooterv12 Glad I was able to help out :)
Very welcome! :)
@DANKNUGREVIEWS Check your radiator coolant level. That matters, not so much the res level.
does it matter if your puffing more smoke out of one exhaust than the other?
Can you please give me a step by step process as to do I fill the front radiator with coolant and the back, or does it flow to the white coolant tank by itself? Sorry I'm trying to learn to do maintance by myself and save some money
@dfmodels1 Awesome man! Glad you liked the vid too.
my lil coolent resivour under the seat doesnt have anything in it.. is that bad
Pretty clean banshee dude. What mods do you run? whats your fuel to oil ratio :)
And in how many times the oil needs to change
What is the easyest way to flush your coolat? is there a drain plug or anything?
can you please tell you what type of air filter you have on there?
nice! i have the same holeshots as yours on my raptor 700 hey does your 2 stroke banshee go through a tank of gas fast??
@DANKNUGREVIEWS No u don't need a new crank. Top end is completely separate. :) make sure to rejet!
It is a gforce and it is now set to its widest setting.

@BowHunt1229 Its not new and itll get plenty more dents :) Thanks for watching.
You do not need a reserve tank. I will be doing a video of the removal soon.
Is that a G Force axle....if it is, did you set it at the narrowest setting???
nice dent in the new pipe

what kind of coolant do you run in your banshee?
@jlsparky7 my banshee dosent have the coolant under the seat is that bad please reply
thanks
Michigan?
thank you for the helpfull answer on my previuos question Sparky.
got another one here for you :).
yesterday i forgot to turn off The gas flued.and today all The gas has run out on The floor.
my question is have i damaged anything now?
is it just to fill The tank again and thats it or what?
plz reply asap.
That is your needle seat that needs to be cleaned or your float height needs to be adjusted.
i care my grizzly like you care your banshee, like your video
@jlsparky7 you run dominator or interceptor?
@chevy77rracer With ya there man. Wish I could spend more time on my quad but im always too busy fixing all the others!
my banshee ran great u could feel the two stoke kick in but now it lacks pwer when i floar it for example what should i repair/replace
check you plugs, jetting, fuel petcock, vent tube, and do basic troubleshooting. Also check your compression.
How long does your top end last with Amsoil?
What do you run for trans oil?
How many lt oil yamha banshee needs
i have the same rear tires. mine are getting worn :(
i pressed like. you are welcome
Yup yup
Hey, stupid question, what's the difference between an air filter and air box? Also can you give the brands you use for all of the coolants and oils you pointed out? Thanks!
The air box is the plastic housing around the air filter.
I use engine ice for coolant and Amsoil for oil.
@froemoe Thanks man!
What are the differences between the 1998 and 2004 model?
Almost nothing. TORS system maybe?
yes
Check out my oil mix vid. Explains everything in great details. 20:1 is waaaaaayyyy too much oil.
how do you remove air from the cooling system?
When the engine gets hot it will "burp" the system. Keep your overflow tank within the limits
What do I do if my coolant looks black in the radiator ?
Drain it, flush the system, check your transmission oil, and refill the coolant.
Hey I'm looking to get one, do they end up having any big problems?
Aaronhibbenlayh A machine only runs as well as it is maintained. Keep up on it and itll run for a loooooong time.
Regular K&N with a modded lid.
@bakedenjoi 4 years
what year moddel is your banshee
2004
Amsoil 0w40
mine has no air box is that okay?
As long as you don't ride in wet conditions.
SparkysGarage does the size of the chain roller matter I'm installing a smaller one right now
West Craccin Cuz
Engine Ice
Ill msg you it
As far as suspension goes its just a marine grease i bought at oreillys auto parts. Nothing special
