The Sutras give food for the analytical mind and allow us to redirect of awareness towards ourselves, modern day living can be a big distraction by draining life force that was always meant for our personal journeys. In the first place you can find a lot of information in the english Wikipedia (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/yoga_sutras_ of_Patanjali#modern) with a list of modern translations and commentaries. Maybe the book of George Feuerstein (1989) is a good choice for you.
Ashika Raut. Anat was dealing with an injury to her knee after a vehicular accident. Sometimes what we think we see is not what is actually manifesting. Anat describes this vritti very well in this talk. Namaste 🙏
No offence. Yogis that practice the eight limbs of yoga, should practice tapas also in nutrition, you would expect a slim body as a result, so she should talk about it less and put it in action more.
@@suzanw9314 you cant say no offence when you are offending someone. One of teachings we learn in yoga is no judging and no hate or harm. Its not up to you to tell her what she do with her body, there are many possiblities that can explain why she isnt slim, maybe because she doesnt want to and is comfortable that way, maybe she has a health condition like low hypothyroidism or others....
