i have a 2015 is350 and i gotta say not much has changed over the 9 years 😢. the looks on the exterior are great but personally, why would i spend money on basically the same car i have now? my next car will most likely be an acura tlx type s. great vid btw🔥
@kingnasirthesecond thanks for watching. I do agree somewhat on that the IS hasn't changed much over the last several years. I can't blame you...still a solid car nonetheless
That's all you see and hear is how the interior is outdated. But it's still nice with very comfortable seats. As an owner it's new to me because I never owned or drove a Lexus IS. Also there are slight changes to the interior from the last generation. It just isn't enough for people to consider it different or new. Compliments come from people seeing the exterior.
All you said is very true. But like I mentioned in the video, I like that "analog" feeling. That's why I'm seriously considering an IS500....so curious to see how that drives
The is350 fsport us a great car I had a new is250 fsport series 3 in 2015 and that was a great car. The mark levinson 10 speaker audio system had me sold on it. The bmw m340i which i also had the pleasure of driving occasionally is by far a better car power wise. Personally I love both cars almost equally.
From personal experience, I love both BMW and Lexus. The downside from BMW, though, is its reliability. I owned an F90 M5 and was at the dealer 50% of the time. I absolutely loved that car, but it was just headaches. On the flipside, I also owned (and still do)an LC500, and I've had a few issues with it here and there, but nothing compared to the M5. I would've kept the M5 but was scared of the potential money pit.
Wow, I didn't know that this wasn't sold in the UK... sorry to hear that. On the other hand, you guys have many other brands we don't have in North America (ex: Renault/Alpine)
@@ihunt65 they do care. Thats why this is the last model with that 2010s interior styling. Everything else has been updated. They can’t keep selling that style of interior for much longer while prices of cars keep increasing.
Yes, the platform is old, but I find they did a great job with the exterior design. Yes, the interior is dated, but it functions very well, and I do enjoy the fact that it has physical buttons
@RichWithCars The physical buttons and driver focused interior are why I bought this car. Extremely reliable, fast enough to have fun , a very comfortable interior , and beautiful exterior styling. It handles turns well and is very composed at higher speeds.

IS 500 competes with M340i
Maybe from a pricing perspective, but from an engine displacement and power, not so much.
I wonder why Lexus not bring up with a new IS.
@@nashk935 they're working on it
Wish Lexus sold this in uk, not everyone wants an suv or a 6m long saloon

This car need a manual a good manual or dual clutch automatic with pedal shifter
A manual would be great on the IS350!
It may be a 2024 but it has a 2014 interior
@@user-FTRU6GJ I thought I mentioned in my review that the interior was antiquated....
@@user-FTRU6GJ yeah, beautiful exterior but the interior is meh. Would you want to live with it for 10+ years
Lexus, we the people that actually buy these cars, do NOT CARE.

I actually like the interior the new interiors have nothing to offer ….. all the buttons and switches make this vehicle the car to buy!
IS is too old, Lexus is lazy. The exterior is okay, but the interior is dated.
