    The Lexus hands down has the best exterior in the segment. If they upgraded the infotainment screen to the 12 Inch or 14 inch system in the RX or ES, it would look much more modern.

    Excellent review on these two! I enjoyed it. I've been researching and cross shopping these 2 sedans and it's a dead heat. I'm a current BMW F30 owner and thought about upgrading to the G20 but the IS 350 F sport is a compelling choice. As you said, in the long run, the reliability and lower maintenance will win out. The Beamer does have some better features esp if you swing for the M-sport package. A 2 or 3 yr old BMW would also be better priced, comparable Lexus IS will be around $40K. Whereas BMW will be low 30K. Tough choice. If i had to choose today, I'd go with the Lexus due to Japanese quality and reliability.

    I currently have the '24 330i (certified-pre-owned), and I really like it. This is coming from someone that would typically drive a coupe. I think the IS-350 (external appearance), slightly edges out the 330i, but that's it in my opinion. The tech in 330i wins out for me. If for some reason it lets me down, perhaps I'll consider an IS-350.

    Great video man, recently purchased a 2021 IS 350 but a 2020-21 m340i x-drive was a close choice. It was difficult to choose as the M340i wins in power/speed but I owned a Audi S4 and wanted to take a break from german cars since I had lots of issues with the Audi. Maybe when I get tired of the 350 after a few years I'll trade it for the m340i

      What issues did you have? I'm on my second R8 with zero issues. My brother has an RS3, and before that, S3 and A3, zero issues between them all. Curious what problems you had.

    • @Reekostory
      @Reekostory Місяць тому +1

      @@BrosFOURRSpeed so the Audi was modded/tuned with no cats but here's the issues I had. Airbag Light and Parking break malfunction light went on at the same time even tho parking break still worked fine. Coolant leak which is common in Audi and had to get that fixed. Mechatronic Malfunction failure which costed me $5k to replace the mech and fix (barely could drive). The charger port would randomly loose power. It burned oil alot and the oil light came on every few months which I had to keep oil in my trunk to keep topping off. Oil leak under the car from 2 different spots that's I didn't get fixed as it would cost too much. Also TPMS malfunction light went on. Thats all the problems I remember with my 2011 B8 Audi S4 and I got tired of the electrical and other issues so I sold it for a great loss.

      @@Reekostory To be honest that car probably had issues because it was beat on before you bought it. Buy a nice low mileage used one and maintain it well and these will last a long time. It’s the people who don’t take care of them and lack on maintenance that ruins them. So your car probably didn’t have the best history before you bought it

    Sure the BMW may be quicker than the Lexus and have more technology, but ain't no way it'll last as long as the Lexus, and also, the Lexus IS is still stunning to this day. Ever since that 2021 refresh to the exterior, the IS is still one stunning and beautiful sports sedan that has aged so gracefully. I wouldn't mind if Lexus still kept this IS just like this for like 10 more years. Plus its' old school luxury that is simpler and more reliable. I mean the 3.5L 2GR-FSE V6 with the 6- and 8-speed automatics is as good as it is for a reason, and that's because of how proven the powertrain/transmission combo is. No turbochargers or anything, just pure naturally aspirated goodness. The interior is also so much more simpler and easier to use, and that's what I like: lots of buttons and knobs, and for those who have CDs, that CD player is still there! (I know a lot of Lexus customers really like that~) Overall, my vote is to the Lexus IS, without a doubt.

    Genesis G70 3.3T takes both easily, as well as the C300, A4, and TLX.... I just don't know what BMW is doing anymore and the IS350 is so fuckin old, the MINOR updates have not done much to enhance it but it is still more visually appealing than the new 330i atleast on the exterior its aged well, Lexus really needs to do a complete overhaul it's overdue.

      G70 is super cool. But tanks in resale the most compared to these and from what I've see will have the least reliable powertrain. So that'd be an iffy one to go with long term. Hopefully Lexus does something really big for the 2025 year
