Often gets overlooked on these cars but the factory sound system is fantastic. 3-way system in the doors gives really good clarity. I had a 07 IS250 manual and now a 2014 IS350 and that's the biggest difference I noticed - sound system on the base 2014 is terrible in comparison.
These are kind of unknown. On the audio comment, I have also noticed a lot of cars dumped their audio quality from the mid 2000s to the 2010s. Rather unfortunate.
Love my 07 IS350! The only thing I don't like is the paddle shifter mode which is a "gear limiter" versus actual shifters. The ISF with the 8-speed and newer IS with the 8-speed transmissions have actual shifters. I have mine on BC Coilovers, F-Sport front and rear sway bars, RR USRS Control ARM bushings, and Konig Ampliform wheels and it transformed the car!
Very true on the paddle shifters point i am about to install the RR Racing tune on the car im hoping it makes the paddles more responsive. And those are all good mods ill definitely try out.
@kkeshav74 I've never heard of anyone really modifying one of these, but it's cool to see someone has! On the 8 speed comment, it is much more responsive. I just drove a 2015 GS350 F Sport as well. They kept a lot of things similar over a 10 year span, but that was one of the best improvements.
I saw 2 guys tuning the TCU and it shift much faster Not fast like the isf But faster then the 3is 8 speed But I don’t think the 6 speed will handle it unless you service it early
You can blip the throttle to make downshifts more clean and far less jerky, you just need to take note of the half second delay between pressing the paddle and blipping
@@M-t3ch yeah Ive had a couple of these second gen IS350s they are very good daily’s and suit my needs really well. Also they will embarrass dodge RT cars and older Mustang GTs at a light
@sesh3508 I would think that you are lying, but the 0 to 60 on these is really quick for what it is and how it looks. That would be my favorite pass time activity if I were an owner XD

Love the mark levinson in my 06. Absolutely bumps for being stock
My 2007 IS350 is at 59,800 miles. Just got the 60k service done minus plugs and packs
If you don't mind me asking, how much did Lexus quote you for plugs?

In Europe Lexus never hurt BMW sales 🤔
@gertstolk Haha I guess not. In Europe BMW is more of a power house though. The US market is very competitive.
They didn’t even release the is300 or the 350
Not sure about the ISF
