    The reason your credit score drop when paying off student loans is because your "average-age-of-accounts" shorten. The length of time you have a loan accounts for 15% of your FICO score, so if you've had a student loan for 10 years, and that loan disappears, your average age of accounts shorten.

      Encourage your grandson’s parents to open a 529 plan. The 529 plan works just like a retirement plan. They can invest as little as $25 per month in their child’s 529 plan. The earlier they invest, the more money they’ll have for your grandson’s continuing education (i.e., college, vocational school, IT certification, real estate classes, etc.) when he graduates high school. Good luck!

    Random, but I took precollege classes at my University when I was in High School because I was determined to get in, but what she said, especially in these digital times, is so true. If you visit the schools you want to attend when you're a sophomore or junior in college its EXTREEMLY effective. Regardless of race or money. Almost everyone who I took precollege classes with got in because we were seen and known by teachers and deans in the school before we even applied. By the time we did you're a person and not just a number to the Deans and admissions people who make the decisions. And because they knew me and knew I was dedicated ( by playing multiple sports, taking precollege classes, and doing volunteer work with meals on wheels ) you can just do each thing for a year or two during HS and you will shoot up to the top percentile of applicants easily.
    90% of students just go to high school get grades and go home. If you take HS seriously like its a job interview for the rest of your life ( I know its hard because that's when we have fun) you can really set yourself up for a successful collegiate and work career.

      How did you take pre college classes at a certain college? For example if I go to high school in Detroit Michigan and I want to go to Stanford... How would a take pre classes at Stanford???

      @@kimberlymattison2148
      Here in Maryland, High schools partner with nearby colleges for this. So living in MI you can't then take classes in CA.

    • @ObservingtheMatrix
      @ObservingtheMatrix 7 місяців тому

      @@kimberlymattison2148 That’s a great question. These classes, or sometimes groups of classes, are known as Summer Intensives often, but I just googled Stanford pre-college and it popped up. It’s obviously the most cost prohibitive if you go out of state, but thats how you would do it. Sometimes they will even give you a scholarship for it (which I figured out how to get for my second round of classes). The easiest way to do it is to take them in the summer between Jr and Sr year or HS. They may have age ranges etc.
      Like she was saying, however, its all about showing that interest, so maybe you take a couple locally and summer of sophomore yr and invest in taking some at the school you want to attend most int he summer after Jr yr.
      Mine was like 2500 for an entire summer course. Materials and books not included

    One of the elements of the Student Loan Forgiveness was NOT for Private Loans.
    For example, I went to Westwood College and they went out of business so I had Federal and Private loans from the school.

    It’s important to plan ahead if you have children….I encourage all my family and friends to open a 529 plan for their child/ children (start it when they’re a baby) or open a high interest savings account to save for the child’s/ children’s continuing education.

It’s going to be the next elected president that decides whether or not these things stay in place or go away. I had my mom purposely get denied for parent plus loans so I could get more loan money in my name under the FASFA. I didn’t want her to have to worry about paying any of my education back

    Our government has no idea on how people are suffering these days. I feel for people with disabilities not getting the help they deserved. Thank you Dora Hobbs, imagine investing $1000 and receiving $7,300 in 4days.

    I lost over $80k when everything started to tank. Not because I was in an exchange that went belly up. I was just stupid to hold and because that's what everyone said. I'm still responsible. It just taught me to be a better investor now that I understand more of what could go wrong. It took me over two years of being in the market, I'm really grateful I found one source to recover my money, at least $10k profits weekly. Thanks Mrs. Charlotte Miller

      This may be a stupid thing but im young and new to building credit. Recently my credit score just dropped from 750 to 619 but i am able to use *Pecuniary backdoors* websites to get to an 800 I was stuck at 750 for a while and I’ve been trying to get to 800. I know in this video you think these methods work for ppl with below 400 but i wanted to make sure someone with over 200 could use these websites.
