This has me feeling so nostalgic. The Micro T was my first hobby grade RC, I was amazed that it tracked straight. It was so much fun. It started a whole line of 1/36 and then 1/24 scale Losi Micros that were all a blast.
I'd like to get a hold of a micro t someday! I haven't been RCing long enough to have had an easy opportunity to own one! Small RC cars are really special aren't they? Especially if they are so high quality
Got mine yesterday and drove it in the indoor track of hobbytown and i drove it decent and sometimes bump on the barriers and noticed the steering rack pins popped out of place and i was already fixing it up and the screws are so tiny and didn't want to strip them and managed to get it popped back in place. Got the yellow wheel one. Out of the box same day bought too lol.
@caseys_cozy_garage yep, I noticed the servo horn being tight and loosening a bit, and the axle carriers were a bit snug and made the servo horn a bit of binding and the wheels turn a bit more freely.
your rear dampers might be low on oil, I noticed when u pressed down on the rear it sprung up quickly, Mine definitely has a slower progressive response.
How do I define worth? For me? Heck yes! It's cut and swift, and when it ever breaks I'll fix i, and I have a club to race it, and friends ro race it with.... I've heard motors burn out easy and it's small so it's not worth it to all
My intuition is that they will make hop ups if enough people buy them and if enough people want to start racing them. Lots of people race Kyosho Mini Z and that's why there are mods
The shocks need to be cleaned out and evenly refilled with silicone I’ll of your choice. This will fix the uneveness. Tiny rc cars require meticulous maintenance to run optimally. Shocks are the first area where you will notice a degradation in performance if you don’t service them like honestly almost every other day of running the car. It also depends where you run it. In a tiled office area the maintenance can be done less frequently than if you run the car outdoors.
In my experience with a similar motor in the axial SCX24, the brushes in the motor are very fragile and burn easy. I would try finding a better motor in this size (030 size).. I think hot racing has one that is a little faster and has better brushes. Mofo RC has one but it's slower
Again brother , because it’s a perfected race model shrunken down makes it drive so impressively, now what makes arrma/ groms great but different is made to be cheap and shear speed , they perfected bashing” in few years opposed to traxxas but Tbf the groms are on par with traxxas business structure because it needs mods “
Take the springs off and compare them to each other, most likely they are not the same size, my Brushless mini B came that way, I haven't checked my micro b yet.
@@caseys_cozy_garage Yes, the front drivers side spring was 1/4" shorter than the front passenger side spring, I have since changed them to the Losi Aluminum Shocks.
Aldi's views in the Chipmunks couldn't even hit the like button the videos got over 3,000 Accused at least you could do is drop a like the dude it's showing you the car before you even buy it
Mini B roller 139. Mini B brushed RTR 159. Mini B Brushless RTR 249. Dont worry I plan to buy one haha but I feel it's a little steep considering there isn't a big racing scene for them where I live
Yes but actually getting 30 years of Rand D from one of few companies who did it consistently. When you use a Losi or TA you will notice the difference
Mini b is like 170? And like 200+ for a brushless. Nobody races them around me so it's not as good of a buy as say a 200-300 dollar crawler build for me
No way, I think many people intend to use it indoors and it's plenty fast for that. In fact I limit throttle to 75% or even 50% while driving in my apartment. It looks slower while seen driving outside in a large area cause it's soo tiny, but it rips. Brushless it would probably be way to hard to control indoors and would break easier at faster speeds. Plus they are trying to keep cost down, it's an amazing value for $99. Absolutely better than the Mini-Z buggy I used to own that was always getting damaged or broken & almost double the cost. Besides I'm sure we will see plenty of aftermarket support or brushless options soon for it.

I still have my micro dt 1/36.
Got mine coming oct 18th ordered two the white and silver ome for me and for my cousin. Cant wait to race!
They will be super fun to race! My local mini z club started racing them last week ! So much fun
Appreciate the review just ordered one a few days ago stoked about getting one I watched for more of your videos👍👍😎
I have driven like 4 battery packs though it and I really enjoy it
Great video. Mine should arrive today. I just subscribed to your channel.👍👍👍👍
@@allscalerc thanks for subscribing! Have fun with yours
I can’t wait to get mine! 😁 I plan on seeing what it’s like on my local Mini Z track.
The Mini B also does that sticking shock issue.
Good to know! I thought I was either going a little crazy or my buggy had bad shocks
Well done dude!!!
Thank you! Passion for the little RC

Haha the scale is super small. Some of my friends began racing them on Mini Z night and it's been reasonably durable. Still gotta watch out for them
@caseys_cozy_garage yep, I noticed the servo horn being tight and loosening a bit, and the axle carriers were a bit snug and made the servo horn a bit of binding and the wheels turn a bit more freely.
Great drive sesh!
Thank you! I had lots of fun with it! It's a very pleasant drive
Cool thing is you can dial it in for fast street or technical carpet racing.
It would be cool to have adjustable suspension links
your rear dampers might be low on oil, I noticed when u pressed down on the rear it sprung up quickly, Mine definitely has a slower progressive response.
Yeah I think I should Dissasemble them and see how well oiled they are
Great Job man! Where did you get the pink hair doll avatar?
I got it in Japan actually, but one can easily be ordered. It's a "Relax Time Mori Calliope"
So bottom line, is it worth $100? That's what I need to know. It looks super fun and I really want one, but I need to know.

Do you wonder if they will make hop ups for it? I get mine tomorrow lol
They already have hop ups for it
@@patrickkelly7789 what site bud?

Ahh I see! With crawlers as long as it kinda sorta works I run em! Lots of the mini z guys have an incredible maintainence routine
Try the mini b brushless.
I would like to now. I tool this to a park and it's really difficult to drive on gravel. I think the mini b would be a lovely park car
Great RC I ran the mini t for a while but the B is alot better
Whats the wheelbase and track width? May be an awesome base for a prerunner style truck. Some longer springs and some scx24 wheels coupd be awesome.
You are a genius I never even considered this !!!! Omg I'm definitely going to look into seeing if this is possible
The modelo cans 😂😂😂
They really do look like those cans!!
I woder if they will do a micro t again
I bet they will! I wonder how long until it happens
Bought 2 of these so fun till they both stopped working 4 days after I purchased no clue what’s wrong

@@caseys_cozy_garage yea motors easy to find but will the tiny plastic pinion stay on and not slip ?
@Bogues_88 good point haha

If there is an aftermarket, me and many others would buy parts haha
The slt2 stands trigger down. Not on the battery plate.
Your comment changed my life lol haahah I just tried it

Yes I will check that! Thanks for the tip. They gave you uneven springs?

I did just subscribe to October 1
Thank you!
Same
It’s is the nested big thing
I need all three scales of these now
Dude sorry to say this but the model girl in the background is way cooler than the car! can you please give me a link to her?
I really love this figure! Just google "Relax Time Mori Calliope" and see what buying options you get! Shouldn't cost you more than 25-30 bucks 😆😆😆😆
Google photo search works great for finding stuff btw
To everyone asking about the hot pink anime girl. Calliope mori from hololive :3
Yes yes Mori Calliope is my Fav
$30-40 more bucks for the mini b…. That’s too expensive? $30 more dollars?

Losi mini b is like 150.00 not that much compared to a 10th scale just saying

In Tokyo! In Akihabara
