Man, this just made me feel so much better to hear! I really hope this whole show gets included for an In Utero 30th anniversary edition, God I hope this whole show gets included. If time machines are ever invented, the Great Western Forum December 30, 1993 is the one and only Nirvana show I'd go to, since it's the closest to where I live in California!
I remember 15 or so years ago when I've got my hands on this specific show. It was a bootleg, the quality was pretty much as all of those bootlegs from that era with a couple of exceptions. But this show at the Forum.. I consider this gig still to this day as my fav. RFUS had an amazing and kinda long intro, almost a minute long. Imagine if we could get a chance to hear a much better soundboard version? This might be the best version of RFUS. And the rest of the setlist had so many highlights, Kurt was very talkative, Krist on his behalf was very energetic. Since The Man Who Sold The World finally surfaced I still hope that this show was actually fully recorded. I remember years ago reading somewhere that many of these '93 In Utero tour gigs were recorded fully. And somebody from Nirvana camp also mentioned the fact that there's a plethora of live shows. And today I still go through the same drill - from time to time I look everywhere for the first soundboard version of Frances Farmer. Heck, we even got a chance to hear Ivy League which was an actual rarity.
Possible that if Kurt Lived, Nirvana Made a 4th album (or 5th, Depending How U Look at It), They Most Likely would of Covered This Song, Due 2 the fact How Kurt Seemingly Loved This Song.
@@The_Crow78. I was born in 91. I really started questioning his death even by like 2004, when they started to do the 10year anniversary of his death programming. I pray we live to see the day we see justice.
The sound quality of this version of this SB is possibly the best I've heard.
I agree
Com certeza... Incrível!!!
Love it!
Thank you 'Rare Nirvana', who ever you are

In Utero 30 should catapult some new releases from that tour I hope.
I hope so too! All this stuff is just waiting to bless our ears!
Imagine the soundboard recording of You Know You're Right's 1993 live performance being released on it
@@realdavidii Jesus wept
@@realdavidii I don't think there was a SBD recording of that unfortunately
This whole concert!
Today is the 30th anniversary of Nirvana's Great Western Forum concert. Rest in peace. Kurt. You were an absolute legend

@@ItzBadger. SLTS too in this show and san diego sports arena
Kurts voice.. wow
I have never heard this entire show with excellent sound can't wait to hear it thank you
He's doing the David Bowie accent even stronger here than on Unplugged!! And Pat Smear absolutely nailing the riff in the left channel at 1:48 !!
Left channel
there's no accent son
@@ansoniamuse401 I disagree, but that's okay
@@BradyA1124pat was Incredibly underrated
Would love the whole show this quality
This is one of the best shows on this tour. Nirvana were on fire in late 1993! The whole show should come out with this quality.
My friend saw them in October 1993 in Detroit and said they were just going thru the motions
@@BradyA1124 through what motions ?

This whole concert needs to be on In Utero 30
This is amazing beyond words
Imagine to have a friend or a lover who plays and sings to you like this, wouldn't it be crazy?

Such a sexy riff
I like it too much Boituva SP Brazil
what is making that background sound from 2:35 to 3:13? is that pat?
It's the cello
@@marcorondinelli7309 now that u say it, it makes sense. its just sounds like a humanoid sound. probably because its a soundboard recording.

Everything sounds great but the bass is practically gone.
Non è Kurt Cobain
In che senso? È lui

Nirvana's version of this song is BETTER than David Bowie's original version.
And now we have Justin Bieber 🙄
