Thank you so much for this!! I am a Nana that neeeeeeeeds to figure this out and do it ! I am going to dive into your videos as you share so much information hopefully I can start ASAP ! I enjoy your videos thank you for making them.
@@itsheatherstudio btw - I just saw an alarming youtube vid re: canva starting to create some hooopla about using their items / TOS for POD rights to use issues... Have you heard any rumblings about this? Wondering how much of a concern it is to the POD community ???
Important to note for the terms of commercial rights to sell AI art from CF sparks is that you need to maintain your yearly license, otherwise you cannot sell items from CF Sparks that you created in the past if you cancel your subscription. In a sense, you are renting the right to sell the AI Art commercially. That said, the yearly subscription rate is not expensive compared to other AI art generators. That is the terms for commercial use that I read on the CF site.
I used so many AI tools. My favourite text to image generator is Blue Willow. Blue Willow is making super artistic images, even in its current early stage
Blue Willow development is really good. Blue Willow recently launched V3 with a brand new model upgrade. Now I got more better-quality images with more aesthetic outputs
I was trying to sell POD AI art posters and prints for 5 months. Tried many things. Got zero sales. Didn't even get much traffic really either. Did SEO did social media. Like I said. I tried everything I could and didn't want to waste money on ads cause I didn't get validation that anything was selling...
I think people should do their due diligence concerning AI, especially images and where to create them. There are laws now concerning AI copyright. And if you don't own the image, (which seems to be the argument) , then sites that ask you " do you own the rights for this" when you upload, then yeah...
Heather thanks for this video! You are a great mentor! I have 2 non-related to this video questions if you don’t mind. 1. If I’m just starting out my shop, if I list 20 listings, should they all be the same niche, or not? 2. I’m seeing videos pop up today saying we cannot use Canva for print on demand now. Could you please do a video addressing that? Thank you!
I think trying a few niches when starting is best. I always suggest branching out to new niches than just staying with one! :) Also, as far as the Canva issues go, there is a huge rumor/potential false information blowing up with Canva's use and conditions for POD. For legal purposes, I have to state I do not work for Canva but Canva's representatives have told me that at least you have two elements used(such as a graphic plus text) and not selling one element by itself(an example is a graphic of a bunny provided by Canva) then this is allowed to sell as a design with Print on Demand.I've sent designs to Canva to ask if they are permitted in their T & E for print on demand in the past years when I was in question so i would suggest doing the same going forward because again, I cannot speak on their behalf and what I share in this comment is pulled from my own experiences. What I can say though is that other companies such as Kittl and Creative Fabrica have clear policies with T & E for print on demand and would recommend them if you are feeling uneasy with Canva. I personally have been slowly switching to Kittl for design. I use Canva for my coaching/powerpoints, social media, email, mockups and design but I have recently been using Kittl more often as of lately. I may make a video on this later about design software for POD as I know there are so many softwares and all you need is really one, it's just finding the right one is the biggest question for most.
LOVE THIS ❤ Thank you. Can we have a video on POD alternatives companies that offer things that printify doesn't offer or alternative POD companies. I never knew monster digital had their own platform 😊😊😊 ty I enjoy your videos ❤❤❤ Also we got an email for Printify Pop-Up... what's that
Thank you for watching and supporting my channel! ❤ I will write this down as a future video and am looking to do a sample video soon. I will say, I understand wanting to do a company outside of Printify but Printify has always been my #1 recommendation. It's hard to compete with since they have 1K+ product catalog, great customer service, low production fees and warehouses across the world. I have tried out 5+ different companies and have always went back to them due to the benefits for my own business. I have done a few alternative POD company videos in the past ofn my channel and will write this suggestion down for the future. :) Printify Pop-up is Printify's own website where you can sell items that's similar to how a 3rd party platform works. It''s a huge benefit for custom orders and bulk orders. I am still looking into this for my own shop but will be using it for bulk orders to give lower price points without Etsy fees coming into play. This is still in beta stage but I think it's a great alternative to Etsy if you have a large social media following and email marketing for any POD business.
This is false information that has been going around social media. Canva has recently posted on FB that Content from Canva is allowed for POD usage if two or more elements are used(example is two graphics together- one graphic=one element). Hopefully this clears things up and I would contact Canva for further clarification if you have further Q's! :) Legal Disclaimer: I do not work for Canva and cannot speak on their behalf. The information provided is based solely on my own experiences with the company.
Everything you said was right except no one owns the AI images produced under CFSpark nor do they own any of the images produced using any AI software even if they have a subscription to it. Why? because United States law only protects 'creations made by humans' which makes all creations by machines uncopyrightable. Technically this makes an AI image free for everyone to use once it is created i.e no need to ask permission to anyone to use or resell the art work. This is why it is much better to make our own designs for commercial work. An author will have complete control over his / her work.
I so wanted this to work but all the images it produced for me were horrible. I am thinning there is more skill required to get the best prompts for a quality image.
I like that Tools of titans in the background. Instantly got my respect
Thank you so much!!! Just getting started!
I love your content and how clear and concise you are. Thanks for sharing all of this great info!

I know I’m on the right track when I’m already one step ahead of you 😉 thank you for all of your information and help!
you are stunning
Isn't it better to put AI in a separate category? Or is that not important?
How do I get a license? Do I need a license for Canva art too?
So apparently we aren’t allowed to use Canva for print on demand, what’s your take on this ?
