I have had my shop open for over 2 months now. I have only had 2 sales on my shop. One was a friend and the other myself. Lol. I have watched so many videos and done so much research to increase my traffic. I’ve reached out to so many UA-camrs for help. I’m not sure why my shop is not growing.

Hello! I am so glad I stumbled on to your channel. Everything you said just made so much sense, makes me feel silly. I am looking forward to watching more of your videos. Honestly, I was researching how to just sell out my inventory and hanging it up. I opened our store late January 2023 and only have 17 sales. I have tried sales a bit but have been planning a routine sales strategy so when your video from a year ago popped up in my feed today the timing was perfect! So I was wondering on how you said about if you are having a %15 sale u would just raise your prices that much but if someone who liked an item in your store and they get a notice about the sale aren’t they going to see you just raised the price the sale amount and then been unhappy?

I ran a 50% "end of summer" sale for the whole month of August and didn't get a single sale😭, even though my products are less than 2 dollars when on sale. I guess it still depends on your marketing and how competitive the niche is...

Thank you for sharing, but yes etsy has completely changed in less than 6 months time. The competition is going to kill us because we cannot compete with people selling for a few dollars. It gets to the point when you have to ask yourself am I on etsy or on a flea market site. Etsy is still my fav but I started a wedpage because we have more control over our prices

Finally someone that ACTUALLY, Tells you want to do, not beats around the bush!
It's actually illegal to raise your prices and then put them on sale so I wouldn't publicly announce that you're doing this. This is info from the FTC (Federal Trade Commission): "The FTC considers it deceptive to offer an item for sale at a higher price for a short period of time in order to support a claim that an item is discounted when the price is then lowered. This practice is prohibited." It's also illegal to have the same items on sale every single day.

Question... I just downloaded the planner to keep me motivated!! Do you recommend having a different store for every Niche? Or do you suggest having all of your designs in one store under different categories (niches)? I have identified 3 different niches and have all of my designs in one store at this point. Also, I appreciate your information so much!!! I just purchased the Blueprint and looking forward to digging in!!
I suggest keeping multiple niches in one store but multiple products for separate stores. For example, jewelry you would want to sell separately than a digital item store. Hopefully this helps! :)

As a buyer, I will not buy right away or full price specially if I know the store runs discounts frequently
I agree, that’s the problem with running too much sales it just screams your products are not worth buying at full price. I run sales very sparingly
Would this be a good way to encourage sales on a shop with few sales, just starting out?
Hi! How do you bulk update prices in your store? Etsy shows a price increase in the listings, so I just want to make sure it's not obvious when increasing price just to bring it back down..
This strategy may not be legal in some states so use caution and research your local consumer laws.
Totally agree “Always on sale” is fictitious pricing and an FTC violation.
Hi Heather. Do you do mugs at all?
Do you do listings with multiple products in a drop down that have the same design (ie. hoodie + T-shirt+ sweatshirt)? If so, do you find it better or worse than listing each product separately?
I surprisingly got my first Etsy sale during the short window of time my daily sale (25%) had expired. Customer paid full price for the t-shirt. Luck perhaps but it did make me wonder how much it really matters!
