Installing a Techart Spoiler on a Porsche Cayman 981

- It has been a while since we bought the Porsche Cayman 981. But we are back and with its first mod! A TechArt Heckspoiler Type 2. This Wing/Spoiler gives the car a really nice aggressive look and provides proper downforce.
The painting is done by myself as well as the install!

That's gas. My brother owns a red Fiat Coupe and I own a Agate Grey 981 Cayman S .... without the Techart Spolier. Well done on the installation by the way. :-)

Where did you bought it?
I bought it used here in the netherlands. Only problem was that I had to order all the missing pieces. Otherwise you can order it directly from TechArt in germany

Just replaced a door on a Jag XF and there was an impossible screw to get access to. So drilled a hole in the door, well drilled an existing hole but made it bigger !!

Great video! Curious how much you spent on the tech art spoiler? How long did it take for tech art to send it to you?
Well fun fact I spend way less then it would cost new as I bought it used. It was like 800 euros. But I had to order some bits from TechArt as I only got the spoiler. I still miss some parts like stronger shock for the trunk and the complete kit to deactivate the rear spoiler mechanical.

@@StreetCultureUS they are pretty hard to find but i would suggest ebay to start. Or just google and see what happens. Good luck!

Hello, no this one is for the 981, its the TechArt spoiler type 2. This one is also available for the 718. The GT4 wing looks different.

No sadly not, I bought it used here in the netherlands. You can always send TechArt an email. They also sell them directly
Faantastic paint job with 'rattle cans' but you've ruined the install with the white sealant. Black would have been better
Black would have been wayy better😅 but this is the stongest one I know. And I also trimmed it back later. You cant see anything now so all good
