An interesting fact: In Judaism, we're not allowed to walk in front of another Jew who is praying the Amidah (a certain prayer in which we stand in one place, with G-d in front of us). And because Muslims pray to the same G-d, we're also not allowed to walk in front of a Muslim who is praying.
According to the Jewish law, if you are in danger, you can enter a Mosque. You are not allowed to enter a church. Anyway not to a Catholic one. Few yeas ago, in a Jewish Synagogue in an Israeli Airport, when it was empty, I saw some Muslims who prayed there. with no problem.

We and the Jewish have the same book, namely the "Tanakh". We have different interpretation. Such as when Jesus debated with the Jewish rabbis in Mark 12:35 -37 While Jesus was teaching in the temple courts, he asked, “Why do the teachers of the law say that the Messiah is the son of David ? 36 David himself, speaking by the Holy Spirit, declared: "'The Lord said to my Lord: “Sit at my right hand until I put your enemies under your feet 37 David himself calls him ‘Lord.’ How then can he be his son?” Christianity does not deify or worship humans. But worship what is "in" Jesus. Trinity means that there are not three Gods. The Trinity is "God's way" of working , as in Isaiah 43:10-11 then it becomes Isaiah 48:16. As in Isaiah 9:6 . Why is it written in Isaiah 43:10.... My servant.. Then... before ME....after ME...? Isaiah 43:10: "You are My witnesses," says the Lord, "and My servant whom I have chosen," so that you may know and believe Me, and understand that I am He; before me no god was formed and after me there will be no god. Isaiah 9:5 For a child was born to us, a son was given to us, and the power rests on his shoulders, and the wonderful counselor, mighty God, eternal Father, calls his name, "prince of peace." Even in John 14:8-9 8 Philip said, “Lord, show us the Father and that will be enough for us.” 9 Jesus answered: “Don't you know me, Philip, even after I have been among you such a long time? Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, 'Show us the Father'? The Trinity is like: yourself at home, yourself at work/office, then your UA-cam account. If your UA-cam account is "turned off (Died)" then are you die too? No, right? When your children and wife ask you for money, need the money. Do they talk to your UA-cam account? No, right? The word Islam means to surrender yourself to God and believe in Him alone. The word Islam means monotheism, and monotheism means worshiping one God. Islam is the religion of monotheism . All the prophets were monotheistic Muslims and worshiped one God. Prophet Abraham was a monotheistic Muslim messenger who worshiped one God. The Prophet Moses was a monotheistic Muslim messenger and his law was the Torah, the Prophet Jesus was a monotheistic Muslim messenger and his law was the Gospel, and the Prophet Muhammad was a monotheistic Muslim messenger and his law was the Quran. All the prophets were Muslims and monotheists who worshiped one God. As Muslims, we worship the God of Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, Moses, Jesus, and Muhammad

I've recently watched a video about a similar topic in France. A Moroccan Jewish comedian made a movie about questioning his faith and he said he does go to Church to meditate and 2 French Rabbis spoke up afterwards and said exactly this; A Jew is allowed in a Mosque because there's no idolatry, but not in a Church because of it. We are closer than the media tries to show.
I think that's the difference between a catholic church and a Christian one. I grew up catholic and it is idolatry what they do. In a Christian church all you will find is a cross, that's it.
@@James3-8 ya, I'm not sure they know that some Christian denominations frown upon having imagery in places of worship. I grew up Catholic in an Italian family and that's all I've ever seen in Churches, but as I learned about other groups within Christianity, I found out it wasn't normal for everyone else lol. Also, I'm not sure it's only about the representation as much as the belief in the trinity itself. As a Muslim of 13 years, I learned that the Trinity was not always a majority belief within Christianity and that's why we still eat the food that's been hand slaughtered the same way we do, by a Christian. We were originally meant to believe in the same God, if we exclude the trinity, so we consider Christians and Jews as "People of the book" aka the Bible/Torah.
A lot of people don’t know that we cannot even enter a church. If somebody I know that is a Christian is married or dies, and it involves a church, I cannot enter. I will go and stand outside to show solidarity on both occasions, but I cannot enter, because it is a place of idle worship. The only exception to this rule is going into a place that is no longer used as a church. For instance, a historical cathedral. It’s technically a church, but they no longer hold services there. If it is a cathedral where they do hold services on occasion, I cannot enter there. A Mosque is different because they worship one god. Christians worship Jesus as God, which, in our eyes is worshiping a man as God. So it’s considered idle worship. Great question.
I agree, but by that logic, you wouldn’t be able to go into the non-functioning historical ones either, as they do actually hold Christian services and rites at random times over the years; they get rented out
My Jewish dad once attended the funeral and burial of my grandpa on my mom's side, a Christian. He kept up with the funerary procession all thorough the Christian cemetery, but when the body was taken to a chapel with a priest saying some funerary rites, he stepped outside. Your last statement is a grave falsehood. Christians believe that there is but One God. The Trinitarian Personhood in no way undermines or contradicts that Essential and Perfect Unity. God's Union with the man Jesus, impossible for humans to understand, is a fact in history and the greatest manifestation of God's Omnipotence.
Islam emphasizes flexibility in prayer locations to accommodate various circumstances and to promote accessibility to worship. The flexibility allows Muslims to pray in mosques, which are considered more rewarding, but also permits prayer in clean areas outside the mosque. This flexibility acknowledges the diverse situations individuals may find themselves in and encourages a commitment to regular prayer regardless of the specific location.

Interesting to hear many Jews are against entering a Church. From a Muslim point of view, many Muslims don't mind entering a Church. The act of entering it doesn't mean that a person agrees with the concept of trinity etc.. It's more of a gesture of opening a hand towards "the other" and focusing on similarities rather than opposing points.
The sheer disconnect between how Christians view themselves in relationship to Jews (as friends and allies), versus how Jews view them (as pagan & idolatrous deviants who plagiarize their tradition), is simply mind-boggling and almost comical. Of course, as a Muslim I side more with the Jews in regards to God being only one, and the Messiah being only a human servant. Theologically we agree there. But the Qur’an actually mentions this divide between the Jews & Christians in one passage: *_”The Jews have said, "The Christians have nothing to stand on!” while the Christians have said, "The Jews have nothing to stand on!” Yet they both read the same Scripture. Similarly, those who don’t know any better have said the same thing. God will judge between them on the Day of Resurrection regarding their differences & disagreements.”_*_ _(The Qur’an, 2:113)_ But Peace/Shalom be to all the sincere Jews and Christians out there. We are all still children of Abraham, and God will settle our differences on the Last Day. But for now, let us co-exist and serve God to the best of our ability, and do our part to bring peace to the world!
You generalizing that Christians see Jews as "allies and friends" is a bit of an exaggerated perspective. Mainstream Christians in Europe, the Commonwealth and Latin America (mainly Catholics, Orthodox and historic Protestants) do not usually see it this way. While this new perception is a recent construction, the result of a re-reading of the New Testament in the light of post-World War II events. And such a posture only has strength even in the evangelical Protestant milieu (Pentecostals, neo-Pentecostals and Baptists). In any case, for obvious reasons, Jews and Judaism pose far less danger to Christians and Christianity than the Islamic world with its anti-Enlightenment values and obscurantism thirsting for monotheistic hegemony. Therefore, even the most anti-Semitic Christians and supporters of conspiracy theories about Jews still prefer a thousand times to have a Jewish neighbor than a Muslim for reasons of utilitarian bias. It is enough to see that Christians in Israel suffer far less hostility (even if it exists) than in 95% of Islamic countries. Furthermore, the Jews do not want everyone to be a Jew and do not force anyone to do so, the same is not true in the Islamic world. So as a Christian, I also prefer Jews, even the most ultra-orthodox and blasphemous about the Lord Jesus, than a neighbor who says "peace be upon Him" when talking about Jesus while he can denounce me for apostasy, causing that I may be arrested or face worse things. And the vast majority of evangelicals who see "Jews as friends and allies" only do so because of the influence of the gospel media and because they are almost completely unaware of what Rabbinic Judaism teaches about Jesus, Mary and the New Testament. Many had no contact with real Jews, they had throughout their lives, or when they had, it was merely superficial. I'm not saying that they become anti-Semitic when they find out about these things or that they should become anti-Semitic but as they gradually come into contact with religious Jews, the same for the most part, they tend to become far less enthusiastic about Israel, keeping support in the geopolitical field just for the utilitarian question of "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" and moral debt in the face of the tragedy of the Holocaust and two thousand years of anti-Semitism.
We do not view Jews as friends and allies, at least not more or less than anyone else. Jews have never liked us, which we are well aware of. They had Jesus executed, my man. If we were still the minority, they would still treat us like garbage. But we are the overwhelming majority. It is our rabbi who dominates the world. Theirs are just bitter losers. The disagreement between Talmudic rabbinical Jews and Christians is ultimately an in-house dispute between different Jewish sects regarding the identity of the Messiah. A whole lot of gentiles were grafted into Israel through Christianity, but in the final analysis it's all Israel. Islam is a fully gentile Ishmaelite sect, which the New Testament defines in the strictest terms as antichrist.
@@sechrima9998 You’re acting as if you can speak for the entire world of Christendom, which I’m afraid you can’t. What you’ve said is merely your own opinion-one view among many. As for other Christians, many of them love the Jewish people and see themselves as wholehearted mutual allies. Do you have any idea how much money is donated to Israel & Jewish organizations by Evangelical Christians every single year in just the US? It is mind-boggling. So to say “we do not view Jews as friends and allies” is a travesty, my friend. Christians don’t even agree on religious fundamentals such as who Jesus is (a man? a god? The Father? an Angel?) or how many books the Bible has, let alone a complex culturally-nuanced topic such as Jewish-Christian relations. And as for the “Jews killed Jesus” claim-you are 100% right, which is Christian history has held a notorious anti-semitic reputation, as noted by many scholars such as Dr. Elaine Pagels of Princeton University, who even points out that the New Testament itself rarely ever condemns the Romans for killing Christ, but often puts the blame primarily on the Jews-which even led Christian theologians to accuse the Jews of “deicide” _(“the murder of God”)._ This is what makes the deep love of Jews by many Christians even all the more ironic. Finally, you can say that Islam is “anti-Christ” all you want, but once again that would make the Jewish faith 10x as “anti-Christ,” since they reject Jesus as Messiah-while we as Muslims don’t. We accept him as the Messiah. In fact, in your own scriptures-such as 1 John 4:3-it explicitly states that those who confess that Christ (the Messiah) has come in the flesh, is “of God” and NOT “anti-Christ.” And among all the major religions, Islam is the only other Abrahamic faith aside from Christianity which accepts Jesus as the true Messiah (and even makes it a tenet of faith), and does not reject him as a fraud or black magician (as orthodox Jews do!); and furthermore we also greatly honor & respect his blessed mother, the Virgin Mary, as opposed to the Jews who accuse her of being an adulterous & unchaste harlot (God forbid!). Yet look at you-even here right now you are still more quick to call Islam “anti-Christ” than Judaism itself, which boasts of literally killing your god. This is what I’m talking about. The cognitive dissonance of modern Christians is truly astonishing.
@@sechrima9998 Also, the truth is-the main reason Christians are so opposed to Islam is because they see us as an “INTERNAL threat” due to our shared beliefs about God & Jesus, rather than an “external threat” like Buddhism or Hinduism, which have a completely different framework altogether. This is even why many early Christians used to identify Islam as a “faction” of Christianity (almost as it seems you are doing now by calling it an “Ishmaelite sect”). But in fact, the real reason we have so many commonalities between us is not because Islam borrowed or plagiarized anything; but rather, because our teachings come from a common SOURCE-God, the All-Powerful & All-Knowing Creator. And He is the One who has revealed scripture & prophethood to the Gentile world through ‘Islam’ (which means ‘sincere surrender to God’), and corrects the mistakes and errors made by the scriptural religions before us (such as Christians and Jews) by restoring the original true way of life of all the prophets & messengers, including Noah, Abraham, Moses, and Jesus-which was complete submission & devotion to God’s will, and humble obedience & repentance to Him as the path to salvation. This has always been the message of God throughout the ages-“worship the Creator, and do good to the Creation”-and Islam _(‘full devotion & surrender to God’)_ simply came to restore that simple & pristine message, and remind humanity of their purpose and ultimate destination. That is because God’s Grace has no limit-and just as He once bestowed revelation to you, despite the protest & mockery of the Jews around you, so too has He now bestowed grace through divine guidance & revelation to us as believers, no matter how much others may protest or dislike it. And we praise & thank God for eternity to come for that guidance He has given us, and we worship Him today and for all days to come. And on the Day of Resurrection, He will judge between us regarding all of our differences. So for us, it is simple & clear: There is only one worthy of worship-God, the Ultimate & Absolute; who neither begets nor was begotten; and who has no co-equal. And finally, I find it my duty to humbly share with you the message that God Almighty Himself has revealed to you. So please take heed, because your Lord speaks to you directly and says: *”O followers of the Bible! Do not exceed the bounds in your religion, nor say anything about God except the truth! The Messiah, Jesus the son of Mary, is only God’s messenger, and His Word which He cast into Mary, and a spirit from Him! So believe in God and His messengers, and do not speak of a trinity. Stop-it is for your own good. God exists as only one sole divinity; and He is far above having a son! He owns everything in the heavens and everything on earth; and God suffices to manage it all on His own!”* _(The Qur’an, Sūrah Al-Nisā, 171)_
@@celestialknight2339 There is no cognitive dissonance. The rabbinical Jews are of course antichrist in that they deny and often hate the Messiah, but the Bible promises a remnant of Israel will be redeemed in the last days. “So the last will be first, and the first will be last.” Matthew 20:16 For now, however, their hearts have been hardened. "I do not want you to be ignorant of this mystery, brothers and sisters, so that you may not be conceited: Israel has experienced a hardening in part until the full number of the Gentiles has come in." Romans 11:25 Christians wait and long for the return of Christ when the Jews will bend the knee and confess their faith in Him - that is their ultimate destiny, and the reason we view them favourably to some extent, despite all of their obstinance. As for evangelical support for Israel, it is all only for the sake of the fulfilment of Biblical end times prophecies. For the Lord to return, Israel first needed to be resurrected. "For I will take you out of the nations; I will gather you from all the countries and bring you back into your own land." Ezekiel 36:24 For Israel to be resurrected, the Ottoman Caliphate first needed to be vanquished by Christian arms. For Jesus to return, Israel must now be sustained and defended by Christian arms until the final Antichrist is revealed. Our support for Israel is not for the sake of unrepentant Jews, but only for the fulfilment of the promises of God. If we were not approaching the last days, the Jews would not necessarily receive such beneficent generosity from Christians. Perhaps we would be a terror unto them, a punishment from the Lord for their grave sins against Him. The Lord moves us for or against Israel according to His purposes. Deuteronomy 11:29 says, "When the Lord your God has brought you into the land you are entering to possess, you are to proclaim on Mount Gerizim the blessings, and on Mount Ebal the curses." If Israel kept its covenant with God, they would be blessed above all nations. If they broke their covenant, they would be cursed above all. Recently, archaeologists discovered an ancient curse tablet on Mt. Ebal, its inscription reading, "Cursed, cursed, cursed - cursed by the God Yahweh". They who rejected and murdered Jesus Christ have been under divine wrath for two thousand years, culminating in the Holocaust. But now the time of Israel's restoration has come, and soon our Lord will return, and the Jews will mourn for the one they pierced once they behold Him coming on the clouds. All Christians agree on the nature of the triune God. If they do not, then they are heretics, not Christians. And to Hell with them if they will not repent. I do not say Islam is antichrist, the Bible does. "Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son. Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also. Let that therefore abide in you, which ye have heard from the beginning. If that which ye have heard from the beginning shall remain in you, ye also shall continue in the Son, and in the Father. And this is the promise that he hath promised us, even eternal life. These things have I written unto you concerning them that seduce you." 1 John 2:22-26 Pay special attention to "He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son." Your Qur'an explicitly denies the Father and the Son. You have been seduced by the devil, the father of lies. It matters nothing that you pay lip service to Jesus as a prophet and "Masih" because you have no concept of who and what the Messiah is supposed to be. Islam will bring forth the Antichrist and the False Prophet that were prophesied in the Book of Revelation - Al-Mahdi and Isa. Of that I have no doubt.

He that honoreth not the Son honoreth not the Father who sent him". John 5:22-23 Does this sound like Jesus was just a mere prophet? One more verse: Jesus and his disciples were in the region of Caesaria Philipi when he asked them, " Who do the people say the Son of Man is?" They answered, " Some say you are John the Baptist, others say you are the prophet Elijah and others say you are the prophet Jeremiah and others say you are some other prophet ". Jesus asked Simon Peter, " Who do you say I am?" Peter answered, " You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God ". Jesus replied, " Blessed are you Simon bar Jonah ( Son of Jonah) for flesh and blood have not revealed this to you but only my heavenly Father". Matthew 16:13-20 Notice: If Peter was wrong, Jesus would have corrected him but he didn't because Peter spoke the truth.
Many years ago as a Non Jew I visited several times the Kabbalat Shabbat service in Prague at a conservative Jewish community. It didn't take place in a synagogue, but in a large room in a historical Jewish Town Hall. I still remember several different tunes of Lecha dodi that the members of the community sang.
Wow. That was interesting. As a Protestant Christian I've been a longtime supporter of Israel as a country and felt connected to things within Judaism (No Judaism = no Christianity). As a guest I've also visitied 2 of the 3 only synagogues here in Sweden. Not coming there for "converting" or praying, visiting more to understand and for Judaism in itself. But this is like someone mocking you behind your back; "you're an idol worshipper!". Support our country, but we don't really like you - sort of thing. Maybe it's an Israeli thing? A Jewish woman I met at the synagogue in Sweden had a conversation with me afterwards. She was like: "bottom line is; we don't think the Messiah has come yet - but you do. We can still be friends, despite of that.". She made the most wonderful Maroccan pastries. My co-worker was a very cool sufi-muslim from Pakistan. He also had a chill view about Church and Mosques. We both worked at a Christian school and often times there were some activitities held at a nearby church. He was- there during "Christian activities" but of course didn't participate in religious things. I also went as a guest to a Mosque nearby, also, to understand islam first hand a little better (not only relying on the news). There was a quite welcoming attitude there as I remember and wonderful tea. Although I don't use or cherish icons, rosaries or statues that my Christian brothers and sisters of orthodox, coptic and catholic branches; I understand that they are not actually worshipping them. The hot potatoe for Jews seems to be Jesus. That becomes the divider. It's nothing personal, just the Jewish Law. I can live with that... it feels a bit harsh, that's all. Us and them.
Its not personal I don’t think. It’s just the statues thing. We Muslims also have a similar guideline in Islamic law. The only difference is that we are able to pray in other places like churches etc. but only if there are no status or images. And even if there are, there is a difference of opinion between Islamic scholars. Some rule that it’s prohibited but most rule that it’s makrooh (hated) , meaning you won’t get a sin for doing so but you’ll get good deeds for leaving it off. As long as there are no statues, even if you worship a different god we are able to pray. With the Jews, it seems that even if there are no statues, if the place is used to worship someone else, they are still prohibited from praying there
Christianity was born out of Hellenized Judaism. The Jewishness of Christianity comes from a different source of Judaism. Rabbinic Judaism comes from more Pharisaic Judaism. A lot of the aspects of Rabbinic Judaism were born as a reaction to the rise of Christianity. For the last thousands of years, Rabbinic Judaism sought to distance itself much as possible from Christianity.
I was going to tell a story about to people who couldn't share. It's quite amazing how much in common people have, I read a book and saw two common themes greed and sharing, and one became powerful over the other, and at that point they completed the test. But it took someone with wisdom to explain the psychological aspect of the story for it to be understood. This video reminded me of that book.

As a rule, for us muslims, the whole world has been made tahir (pure/clean) for us to pray, except for places which are distinctly unclean like toilets, animal lairs, etc. So, yes, we can pray in a church or a synagogue as long as we dont face or prostrate to the cross or other symbols.
Go ahead and give it a try, they got mass said in Arabic at a few Anglican churches in Jerusalem. When it's time to receive communion go to the aisle take a knee and cross yourself and say a prayer. Then go to the altar rail and kneel on it and pray. When the priest comes with the host just cross your arms over your chest and receive a blessing. Or if you feel like it outstretch your hands and receive the body of Christ and the cup of salvation. You know the legend of the holy grail ? It's true, you drink from the special cup you're given life eternal. Go practice being a Christian in secret, you will not burn in hell for it.

My father comes from Halkis, a town close to Athens where there is a Jewish community & synagogue since 250BC, probably the oldest in Europe. These people, except from religion and their own neighborhood, were absolutely Greek in manners, language, dressing etc. Till the Holocaust, my 97 year old Christian Orthodox father remembers his Jewish classmates visiting with him the Christian churches in the big holidays (Ex 15 August, Virgin Mary's Αssumption). It was not a taboo for them.

There are more similarities between Judaism and Islam then most people realize. Actually it’s funny to me that Christians and Jews associate with each other more, because Islam is much more similar to Judaism. For example, the strict monotheism, zakat, rules regarding food, gender segregation, covering the head, greeting of Salam/Shalom, etc. Even Muslims fast on Ashura to honor Moses’ victory and are allowed to eat Kosher meat because the rulings are like that of halal. Jews are considered People of the Book because The Quran say the Torah is a true revelation from God.

I would enter a Church if it was, for example, a historical relic, which I've done on several occasions. I do admire Christian architecture in this respect. The same can be said for a Mosque. I would not pray or worship in either. But simply entering is okay in my view.
A big part of their relics and the Vatican wealth they got by stealing and confiscating money and properties from Jews during 300 years of cruelty and persecution in what they call "Holy Inquisition" in Europe and after the 16th century extended to the Americas. It finished only in 1821. Half of what was confiscated was given to the kings, Spanish, Portuguese and French, and half was given to the Popes throughout the centuries. All those 'marvelous' ancient churches were built with stolen money and slave labor. Unfortunately, people know very little about the Christian Inquisition and what Christians did.
Shalom, Salam, Peace. “O people of the Scripture! Do not exceed the limits in your religion, nor say of God aught but the truth. @@EtamarTheGOAT I myself would welcome jews who want pray at my mosque. I would also ask permission to the jews to pray in their synagogue if I'm in a foreign country and cannot find a mosque. But in case of Palestinians and Al Aqsa, hmm..perhaps they are traumatized that if they allow the jews to pray there, eventually the jews would take over. Al Aqsa compound is one of our holiest places, so I guess the muslim palestinians would protect, guard and take care of it as much as they could. And btw..( I do not mean to offend you or other jews), in our Quran, God tells us that several thousand years ago He ordered Prophet Musa ( peace be upon him) and his followers ( bani israil) to enter the land of Canaan and reside there. During the era of Prophet Isa or Jesus ( peace be upon him), God also ordered bani israil at that time to obey him. And at the present time at the era of Prophet Muhammad ( peace be upon him), God, the One, the Creator of the Whole Universe ordered the jews to obey Prophet Muhammad 🙏 as a form of their submision and obidient to God, which actually the laws in judaism and the islamic laws or syaria are quite the similar. And our islamic way of prayer too is very similar to how karaite orthodox jews pray and how the samaritans orthodox pray. The followers of Syirian orthodox church also pray in a similar way to us although they pray to a different god. So ...there is a big possibility that the way the muslims pray today is similar to the way Abraham, Ishmael, Ishaq, Musa, David, Solomon ( peace upon them all) pray which the majority of jews do not pray like that anymore. And if indeed Al Aqsa was Solomon Temple before, and if Solomon is still alive today, would he prefer to pray with us the muslims who pray similarly to him? Or pray with the jews who pray differently now? I also watched a video where a jewish woman, who converted to Islam and marry a palestinian, pray at Al Aqsa.

We have a Christian missionary school in our area which is really good and strict. Everyone wants to put their children there so that children can get easy access to western things. Sadly that's how MUSLIMS think here. Anyhow i've seen nuns in that particular area and many paintings of Isa (Jesus) and Mary (Mariyam). (pbut). I was almost 7-8 years old and comparatively a privileged child who was never taught about Islam with concern. I just knew that Jesus (PBUH) is in both Religions revered highly. I personally always considered him to be among the best actually. At such age when i saw the nuns, I felt good. As if they were nice people. Just Old ladies covered up in different color. Simple and nice looking. Yet whenever i went to that area and in a shop, i saw the painting of Jesus and mary being sold. I remember staring at that painting. I didn't know Jesus was god to them. But just looking at that painting made me feel literally depressed. The painting felt so fake. I mean the "white" Jesus actually. It is not about color bt I was wondering why would they draw Jesus's picture. When there's no picture of Muhammad ﷺ? I said to myself don't they love Jesus. How could he look so distant? He must be so beautiful yet why are did they paint him in a pose of the Hindu gods. A raised hand blessing the viewer. I felt really bad. As if those paintings would eat me up. Again my parents didn't let me know much about Christianity and Islam as well. And because of the Missionary schl Christians were not dehumanised for their Religion as well. They had reputation in our society. The feeling to this day makes me uncomfy. How come you let people draw Jesus? Even in a good sense. It looks like the idols of Hindus! Do you not see the similarities!? Just Jesus in white and Hindu gods in colorful colors. How can you let them disrespect Jesus like that?! I was traumatised just by seeing those pictures as they reminded me of the Idolators depiction of their GodS!
@IIOO Listen brother I pity your knowledge on Muhammad's ﷺ picture topic. You clearly are at fault right there. I at that age didn't know anything. Only after the age of 16 I got to know that there are races. Races based on color and region. I truely didn't know what was white, brown, black anything. I myself am fair skinned. Auties who don't know me still ask me if I'm from west or not. Or if one of my parents are from west or not. So The "color" of Jesus in that painting was not a problem for me. I just wanted to visualise to you the typical jesus that they draw. He looked nothing like all of us even tho the complexion of our skin was same. I untill the age 16 didn't know what racism was. Yes here jn our country Complexion is considered but nit color. We have the fair to darkest skin complexion in our country. We are brown. How ever the color is and never was my problem. Fun fact, Racism in your country is so talked about that you picked the "color" and got offended kinda. In our country we children grew up without that headache to deal with. Fair or not we never cared. "Jesus" who is not even jesus looked so distant cz he is not God and he was not depicted in the way he really Is. It offends me when i see those shops selling those pictures. May Allah forgive ya'll. It hurts me to see you people who claim to love Jesus so much to draw pictures and not even in the right form. You can't know his right form but we know. Yet we don't draw him. I have a soft spot for him. At that age I still loved Jesus Son of Mary, seeing that picture literally traumatised me. Again depressed me. I didn't hate Christianity I didn't understand it to be very different from us in the 1st place. As i said I was not taught about the similarities or differences about our faiths. I don't know how do you tolerate this. Have u ever been to a Mandir(Temple)? Or a Hindu's house. There is the same picture with just peculiar colors. But the same 1 hand atleast risen to bless, the light from behind the "diety" or behind his head. Jesus felt different and as if he was not even for us or among us. I felt Bad. Wake up brother.🙂. Much love tho.

When I was a child, my father took us to a catholic church (in Istanbul) for watching Christmas Ceremony. we did not sit in the banks, we knew that they were for Christians. and the ceremony began and the priest prays in Turkish. My father said "Amin"s (same as "Amen") to the priests prayers. My mother admonishes my father: - why are you saying "Amin" to the priest's prayers !, He's from different religion My father replied: -The priest prayers are good for Islam, too. A Muslim can say "Amin" to all good prayers (which can be ok for Islam). That's all.
I used to take my kids into other places of prayer and tell them it was art. But then they caught onto me... i am glad that all interviewed had the same answer!
2:35 Muslims believe that God created the universe and he watches it. it is written in the Qur'an that, even a leaf can't fall down from a tree without his permission ( God's permission), actually Judaism and Islam are more similar than we think. i have entered some churches, mosques and synagogues, and i can surely say the atmosphere of mosques & synagogues is the same but churches feel different. you can't find hierarchy in mosques & synagogues as in a church

Curious that most say they will not enter a church. Long story short. About thirty years ago, I saw a group of, what I would say were, Jewish people praying, inside an Spanish Catholic Cathedral. Although the historic building used to be a Mosque about eight hundred years ago in Al-Andalus, the Catholics consecrated it and built a Cathedral inside. At the time there were no Mosques in Spain and Islam was illegal and pursued /prosecuted by police.
You are probably talking about the La Iglesia Catedral de la Encarnación, which was built over Aljama mosque, in the city of Málaga. But it makes no sense Jews praying inside a church that was a mosque in the past. And by the way, there were mosques in Spain 30 years ago and there were no persecution or prosecution against Islam at all.
@@GlobetrotterBR I was talking about the Cathedral-Mosque in Cordoba. I am not Jewish but what I saw was quite similar to what I've witnessed at "the kotel" or "Wailing Wall". I was misguided. According to the imam of Granada's mosque that was the first one and "founded" in 1996. Meanwhile Google states that the first mosque in Spain's modern times was founded in the 80's in Cordoba. It may be due to the differences between beliefs, that often deny other Muslims being part of Islam. Of course you don't have to believe an stranger on the internet. if you, like my grandmother, align with those at the right of the conservatives, better save time and ignore the rest. " And by the way, there were mosques in Spain 30 years ago and there were no persecution or prosecution against Islam at all." As confirmed by members of the National Police that I personally know, nowadays it's not illegal but it's still not welcomed. If a local council denies the permit to use a building the police do enforce said ruling. A friend of mine said "We just follow orders, people's votes give politicians power" Police in riot gear stopped and took to jail Muslims gathering to pray in Granada while I lived there for some years during the 90's. They had no permit from the council and after the Mosque was lawfully functioning Police still went looking for "terrorists" and forcing some to spend the night under arrest. Nearly the same happened in Chiclana (Cadiz) in 2014, the detained were from Saharawi ethnicity and allegedly members of the Polisario front. Afterwards they were confirmed as families gathering to pray. I honestly could not believe that what I personally knew happened in the 90's was still happening in 2014 as one of those saharawi people told me face to face. In this case I casually chatted with my, at the time, father in law and he confirmed the facts. Let's say he, a retired army officer, shared some predemocratic ideas and proudly talked about some of his relatives line of work in the forces. Me being a non practising Catholic civilian, can't confirm nor deny the terrorist allegations. What I can confirm is the persecution decades ago and the actual institutional harrasment emanating from many political parties.

There was silence for like 20 minutes and then out of nowhere there was machine gun fire and many people were dying. The crowed panicked and my dad was basically pushed through the doors of a church by Jews seeking protection. According to my dad there was screams of Shma Yisrael, throughout the church. Nobody cared about any Halacha preventing one from entering a church. By the way, one day we will all enter shamaim and realize that 99% of what we thought about God was wrong. I get it. there is one God, but there are billions of people trying to reach him in any way they can find. I applaud their efforts and would certainly walk through their places of worship.
That's a remarkable story, thanks for sharing. However, just note that according to Halacha it would absolutely be permitted to enter a church to save your life. Pikua'h nefesh (danger to life) allows violations of nearly all commandments.
I don't really understand the point you're trying to make. If you asked any of these people if they may enter a church in a life or death situation, they would say it is permitted. That doesn't mean that in ordinary circumstances it is permitted.
Of cause you can enter a church to save your life. You can do anything to save your life, except kill another, bow down to idols or have illicit relations. Those 3 things you have to die for, everything else you can do to save a life. In fact, you have to.
I’m a orthodox Sephardic Jew who lives amongst an affluent community . About 8 years ago while in Shul on Yom Kippur suddenly a black man in a suit casually walked in & sat down. It’s fair to say that in the Shul’s 40 year history this never happened. It’s a town where everyone knows everyone. Anyway, after about 10 min. I see the rabbi leaving the pulpit along side an influential member making a B line to the man. It appears as if they asked to speak to him outside. He gently agreed and off they went. Now I’m extremely close with the rabbi and was raised in a eclectic environment, I didn’t have the sheltered lifestyle most in the Shul had so my empathy lead me out of my sit and out the door to see what was up. (Leaving my 10 year old son in his seat) when I got outside I saw a small crowd & the rabbi (very uncomfortable) & this other gentleman asking him questions as to why he was there. (Please keep in mind at this time multiple synagogues were randomly attacked both here & abroad.) anyway… at some point the police were notified. I felt awful for the guy cause it seemed like he was only there to pray. I told the rabbi to return to the Shul & that me & this other man would handle it with the police when they got there. We then took the guy into a office where police arrived. The rich guy tells him he’s sorry but with all that’s going on in the world he is uncomfortable w him there and that he demanded the police pat him down for weapons or bombs. Again the man complied and the officer went on to do so. After he was clean the other guy bolted back to pray & lost interest. Me I felt differently. After the cop and man left and I was left alone w the guy in the office I began to sob. I felt awful to see us treat another human this way. But I also understood both sides view. I hugged him & apologized for what transpired. I also then insisted he come back to the Shul and pray and that id be proud if he sat w me and my son. I wanted my son to learn a powerful message as well. & a lot of the people in my section were pretty cool about it & there was also many stares and uncomfortableness. His name was Daniel & I haven’t seen him since. I wish him well.
I don't see why you felt so awful. The man was a potential security threat, and it sounds like he was treated well. Yom Kippur is also not a day for random visitors - someone who wishes to visit a synagogue would be advised to do so on virtually any day other than Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur, when the atmosphere is at its most serious and focused. It's not an appropriate time to stop in.
@Hummer are u retarded ??? First of all who says I’m a woman? 🙄 secondly, why would I write a short book and lie? Stupid fucking people that exist is amazing…
@@Lorenzoselas I probably _would_ have felt sorry for him, but that's different from feeling awful for the way he was treated. Based on your description, it doesn't sound like he was treated badly at all. The Rabbi and the other gentleman acted exactly as they should have, looking out for the safety of their community while maintaining the other man's dignity to the greatest reasonable extent.
The antagonization between Muslim and Jews is only purely geopolitical due to the state of Israel. In regards to theological clashes, Sunni orthodox Muslims tend to have a beef with Christianity and Shia Islam due to polytheistic style of worship. Ironically this is where Jews and Muslims see eye to eye and hence why there is no confrontation when one enters the others place of worship due to strict adherence to monotheism.

There is no point. Why don't they convert to Islam? They are Jewish and will remain Jewish.
36 David himself, speaking by the Holy Spirit, declared:
"'The Lord said to my Lord:

37 David himself calls him ‘Lord.’ How then can he be his son?”
Christianity does not deify or worship humans.
Isaiah 43:10:
"You are My witnesses," says the Lord, "and My servant whom I have chosen," so that you may know and believe Me, and understand that I am He; before me no god was formed and after me there will be no god.
Isaiah 9:5
For a child was born to us, a son was given to us, and the power rests on his shoulders, and the wonderful counselor, mighty God, eternal Father, calls his name, "prince of peace."
Even in John 14:8-9
8 Philip said, “Lord, show us the Father and that will be enough for us.”
9 Jesus answered: “Don't you know me, Philip, even after I have been among you such a long time? Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, 'Show us the Father'?
The Trinity is like:
yourself at home,
yourself at work/office,
then your UA-cam account.
If your UA-cam account is "turned off (Died)" then are you die too? No, right?
When your children and wife ask you for money, need the money. Do they talk to your UA-cam account?

There is nowhere that is not clean for prayer. No limiting material surroundings are requisite for prayer. All can pray wherever they may be.

But the Qur’an actually mentions this divide between the Jews & Christians in one passage:
*_”The Jews have said, "The Christians have nothing to stand on!” while the Christians have said, "The Jews have nothing to stand on!” Yet they both read the same Scripture. Similarly, those who don’t know any better have said the same thing. God will judge between them on the Day of Resurrection regarding their differences & disagreements.”_*_ _(The Qur’an, 2:113)_
But Peace/Shalom be to all the sincere Jews and Christians out there.
So please take heed, because your Lord speaks to you directly and says:
*”O followers of the Bible!
“So the last will be first, and the first will be last.” Matthew 20:16
For now, however, their hearts have been hardened. "I do not want you to be ignorant of this mystery, brothers and sisters, so that you may not be conceited: Israel has experienced a hardening in part until the full number of the Gentiles has come in." Romans 11:25
Christians wait and long for the return of Christ when the Jews will bend the knee and confess their faith in Him - that is their ultimate destiny, and the reason we view them favourably to some extent, despite all of their obstinance.
As for evangelical support for Israel, it is all only for the sake of the fulfilment of Biblical end times prophecies. For the Lord to return, Israel first needed to be resurrected. "For I will take you out of the nations; I will gather you from all the countries and bring you back into your own land." Ezekiel 36:24
For Israel to be resurrected, the Ottoman Caliphate first needed to be vanquished by Christian arms.
These things have I written unto you concerning them that seduce you." 1 John 2:22-26
Pay special attention to "He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son." Your Qur'an explicitly denies the Father and the Son.
Just wanted to add, a Jewish or Muslim man OR woman would not be rejected from entering a church.

I'm Jewish & I have no problem entering a church just to see the beauty & the interior, but I would never pray in one. I think one of the reasons for the prohibition on entering is because Christians push hard on proselytizing & in a mosque there are no idols (like Jesus on a cross) or any other images like that.
As a Christian myself i asked the same question too
I can tell you that we don’t pray for the cross or the image these are symbols from the story of Jesus

@@Fiam53 ok I’m wrong let me be wrong it doesn’t harm you in anyway dose it?
@@Fiam53 Where did Jesus say that he's just s mere prophet?
All throughout the Gospels Jesus referred to himself as the Son of Man, meaning the Son of God.
Jesus told the Jews in the temple, " I and the Father are One".
John 10:30
Jesus told Philip, his disciple, " If you see me you see the Father. For the Father is in me and I am in the Father".
John 14:9
Jesus told the Jews, " Before Abraham was born I am"
John 8:58
What is Jesus saying? Is he the same as his Heavenly Father?
No, he's saying that he is coequal with God his Father.
Jesus said, " The Father judges no one but has entrusted all judgement to the Son do that all will honor the Son in the same way as they honor the Father. He that honoreth not the Son honoreth not the Father who sent him".
John 5:22-23
Does this sound like Jesus was just a mere prophet?
One more verse:
Jesus and his disciples were in the region of Caesaria Philipi when he asked them, " Who do the people say the Son of Man is?"
They answered, " Some say you are John the Baptist, others say you are the prophet Elijah and others say you are the prophet Jeremiah and others say you are some other prophet ".
Jesus asked Simon Peter, " Who do you say I am?"
Peter answered, " You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God ".
Jesus replied, " Blessed are you Simon bar Jonah ( Son of Jonah) for flesh and blood have not revealed this to you but only my heavenly Father".
Matthew 16:13-20
Notice: If Peter was wrong, Jesus would have corrected him but he didn't because Peter spoke the truth.

It made me laugh when he said if they let me in.😂😂😂
Hot potatoes seems to be 2000 years of constant mas sacres ...... but hey lets ignore it and be insulted that somone dosnt like statues.

Ok

5:31 Brother Yaakov you are welcome to a Mosque ❤
If someone wants to pray with you, then you should let them pray.
So why non Muslims are not allowed to enter Temple Mount not alone pray there
@@EtamarTheGOAT I myself would welcome jews who want pray at my mosque.

It is highly forbidding Idol worshiping in Judaism. you can not "lead by example" and at the same time break one of the most consensus important foundations in Judaism. Praying to non other than Gd, Bore Olam, ALLA is forbiden by all means especially in a synagogue. Thats why Muslims can pray beside jews and others cant.
On numerous occasions I have prayed next to jews and jews next to me (Muslim) in airports. Absolutely peaceful and welcoming. And what’s also interesting that we jews and muslims face almost the same direction to pray.
11:05 he said whether we should be happy for the prayer, not whether it is accepted or not.

@IIOO That's absolutely not truth. Incorrect and false. Stop regurgitating baseless lies.
I felt Bad.

My family (and also me) is conservative muslim (similar to conservative judaism) and my father is open-minded and observant Sunni muslim.
My mother admonishes my father:
- why are you saying "Amin" to the priest's prayers !, He's from different religion
My father replied:
-The priest prayers are good for Islam, too. A Muslim can say "Amin" to all good prayers (which can be ok for Islam).
That's all.
Jews can say Amen to blessings of non-jews (blessing God or a person), if they have God in mind.
I used to take my kids into other places of prayer and tell them it was art. But then they caught onto me... i am glad that all interviewed had the same answer!
Religion unites us, and politics divides us. That's why I hate politics
For Christians, the relationship between God and all else is even more metaphysically intimate. God creates all; but must also will continuously that what is persists in existence or it will be no longer.

" And by the way, there were mosques in Spain 30 years ago and there were no persecution or prosecution against Islam at all."
As confirmed by members of the National Police that I personally know, nowadays it's not illegal but it's still not welcomed. If a local council denies the permit to use a building the police do enforce said ruling. A friend of mine said "We just follow orders, people's votes give politicians power"
Police in riot gear stopped and took to jail Muslims gathering to pray in Granada while I lived there for some years during the 90's.

Things are not as openly racist nowadays but I would not recommend to any Jew or non white person to visit Majadahonda for example.
But if you insist things are "kosher" then you know better than the actual people serving in the forces. Or in the SMS as ATS in ambulances.
That opinion may be due to lack of immersion or knowledge about Spanish and the community of Madrid's society. Or you may align with my Grandmother's political views although I doubt their views on the Judeo Masonic conspiracy would have suited you.
