Worked at this same patrol station almost 20 years ago and glad to see the next generation is still taking care of business there. Really proud of these two officers for keeping level heads in this high intensity incident.
While you did focus on Officer Ready’s second appearance I think it’s worth pointing out how fast Officer Wade got his gun out and firing. Officer Wade has put in work on his draw speed. Also, despite being shot at they gave him quick medical assistance because they are officers not executioners, something another PD could probably take notes on considering how they treat people who commit misdemeanour driving offences.
Consider that the particular incident you are referring to did not escalate because of the traffic stop but because of the “ victim” having an affair with one of the officer’s wives. Basically gangsters in uniform dealing out street justice, not actual police reacting anywhere how they normally would for a traffic stop.
Yes he did bring up the fact that they rendered quick medical aid and it's good that he did because although they are officers not executioners, they are also not paramedics and they're not legally required in the state of Texas to render medical aid to someone they just shot. All they have to do is call an ambulance to the scene that's all they're legally required to do

@El Doggo don't blindly "back the blue" regardless of corrupt media propaganda. It needs to be a felony for an officer to toggle their body cam footage/audio on or off. It should be on the moment the officer is on duty. A cops "word" taking precedent over a defendants "word" is an unnecessary conflict of interests considering the technology at our disposal. Many cops are pure trash, and it's just that simple.
Good luck bro. Every department in my county is hiring and nobody can get applicants. I live in RI where police can make WELL over 100k , get benefits, pension and the state has a strong police union that backs officers. We have little crime, our largest city Providence has had no Officers killed on duty in almost a decade. We still can’t get qualified candidates.
I know its training, but i love how after shredding the man, they always yell, "HANDS, LET ME SEE YOUR HANDS." meanwhile, the dude in the car is super high on endorphins and adrenaline thinking, "Who am i? How did i get here? What are these 'HANDS' they speak of?"
Can't believe he was smart enough to climb into the back seat. If he stayed in the front he would've been dead. And he was lucky the cops didn't aim at the back.
Officer Ready, I'm sorry you had to do this, again, but I'm really fucking glad you're on our side protecting our communities. You are badass 💙 Thank you for you service and sacrifices ❤️
I disagree. There are literally heaps of channels on UA-cam run by auditors or lawyer's showing video's of cop's breaking the law and illegally arresting people by lying about alleged offences or outright inventing them as they go along. It's very easy to look up the public record's of the amounts in compensation that are paid out in the millions each year because of cop's on power trips bullying the weak and vulnerable. Check out the video of the cop who arrests a nurse in the hospital because she won't let him illegally take blood from a patient. All recorded on the cops body cams... Respect? No contempt.
Doughnut. I love your contact. I love the way you illustrate everything in your videos. Actually when I watch and listen to you I always get a good laugh. Thank you. Keep up the great work.
So it's not just me? I've had random unsubs happening here and there for the past 10 years. I want someone to get to the damn bottom of it. It's passive bullshit.
If you’re running a mag well on your sig (which he is) the 21 round mags are easier to pull out if they get stuck and also easier to put in because the mag seats before your hand hits the mag well. Stock 17 round mags don’t work with the mag well without changing the basepad vs 21 round mag and 30 round mags do. It just makes sense to have the 21s in the gun and on you and maybe even a 30 on a vest.
Some departments are teaching that reload in the police course of fire qual. I forget the specifics of why they make us do it 🤷♂️ but his reload looked wonky because of the angle, rushing, adrenaline/nerves ya know? Your videos are great, my friend! Keep doing what you’re doing and thank you for bringing this awareness to civilians!
One thing that needs mentioned about shootings like this that most people who have never experienced it is how excruciatingly painful and disorienting is is to discharge a fire arm from inside a closed vehicle 😳
It take a lil while to hear anything with the ringing in the ears. Guys that have been down range aren't bothered by it as much, but I'm having to pay a heavy price for it now-being hearing impaired sucks (use VA HA's).
Does anyone know how often the average officer encounters a gunfight during their career? It seems crazy that one guy had two of his on donut operator .
@@MyLonewolf25 these odds make sense, and it also wouldn’t be far fetched to see how there might be some unlucky fools to have 2 or more. I mean, 1/10 is bad odds to bet on, but that stat means 1/100 would get in two in their career, 1/1000 would get in 3, etc. Most cops have none, but some have many.
Depends. Small town cop where everyone knows everyone, big city where everyone's a stranger, and/or ghetto where even the neighbor's dog is in some kind of criminal gang against it's roommate
I know officers on my department who have gone their whole career without drawing their weapon, getting in a use of force, or getting in a vehicle/foot pursuit. I also know officers that have more shootings than years on the job... and theyre all justified shootings. part of it has to do with WHAT you do as far as your proactive work and who youre dealing with BECAUSE of that proactive work... another part is just back luck really.
No such thing as an average officer really. I'm sure cops in East St Louis are going to be more likely to shoot/be shot at than cops in Irvine california
No, it's a corgi. Yorkers are fluffy chihuahua size terriers. That dog has a much longer ...wheel base to make the car comparison. Yorkers are fluffy Jeep wranglers to the low rider Cadillac corgi
The suspicious area where drugs are being dealt represents my whole county pretty well. Portsmouth, Ohio... gotta love it. Your videos have helped me identify bad situations in a way and divert them though. Thank you, the officers that have good judgement and carry out their job well and any other crew you may have for the effort and the videos.
I'll always be amazed at how many peoples reaction to these situations is, "Yeah, running from and then shooting the cops will totally make things better" Based on his charges he didn't have any warrants or anything prior to the shooting so provided he hid the gun and played nice that situation probably wouldn't have resulted in much.
In my experience, a lot of people who become crims arn’t exactly what you would describe as “high IQ” people who think things through. Not the ones who generally tend to get caught anyway. They tend to have very low impulse control, hence why they often end up criminals.
So you want to put officers on a pedestal. Excellent I agree. Mandatory 10yr prison term for any Rights violation and personal Restitution...along with enhancers for ANY ordinance, citation, misdemeanor or felony convictions...I mean if you know the law and violate it then clearly you should be held to a HIGHER standard right? Don't do the crime if ya can't do the time right...
@@richw1607 They still give commands just in case the suspect is still alive or conscious Depending on the person, you can shoot them 10 times and they won’t go down.
I'm more impressed how fucking fast the driver was able to pull up, park, open door, draw, and send his entire mag into buddy's windshield. He was 3-4 shots into his mag before his partner decided getting out won't make for good body cam footage and started shooting back from the seat. Making light, obviously this is scary AF and these officers did amazing work considering the pace everything went down, and both got home safe 👍
Houston is deep blue Dems city like most big cities like LA, NYC, SF, Chicago, etc. Mayor, DA, and judges are all Dems and very soft on crime. Some criminals are released on PR bonds even after committing murder. Tens of thousands of felons were released due to COVID policy as an excuse. Thus they're causing havoc now in Houston communities and the surrounding area. There's shooting death averaging now more than 1 per day. Thus, plenty more content to come and body count will pile up as long as the same party rule the big cities.
Family teamwork extremely important with first responders and military. As we were told. When we deploy, your family status is also deployed, because it affects everyone you leave behind.
Officer Ready and Officer Wade? They could make a good cop show title: "Ready and Wade" or "Wade and Ready"? They're READY to WADE into the thick of it! 😆
Thank you Donut for the sage advice. Next time I'm in a shootout in my car, I'll be sure to roll the windshield down before trying to fire through the glass.
Your editing probably takes a long time, but I swear you be having me dead and shocked yet always witha lesson. I guess you got the formula down packed fam! Salute and hope you have a happy holiday
2 things about hiding behind a car. 1 concealment: it's MUCH easier to hit a target you can see than one you can't, even if you know where it is. So get behind ANYTHING. 2: a bullet might be able to go through a car, but your shooter may not know that. He's more likely to shoot over your head and miss than through the car door and hit. In summary, a car isn't a tank - you have to get out. But it is environment you can use.

@@richardbossman9875 the Tyre Nichols thing?
Yes he did bring up the fact that they rendered quick medical aid and it's good that he did because although they are officers not executioners, they are also not paramedics and they're not legally required in the state of Texas to render medical aid to someone they just shot.
All they have to do is call an ambulance to the scene that's all they're legally required to do

How stressful must it be to be a police officer. They deserve so much respect!
And they are trigger happy. Always ready to kill you.
