      You're a freaking legend! And that comment is severely underrated...
      But I think the smoke was likely from a phone, as our man Donut said. They likely hit the battery, putting at least one 9mm hole right through the thing. When lithium gets exposed to moisture, like for example....blood. It reacts violently. Often bursting into flames. Considering just the moisture in the air is enough to cause a reaction in most cases. I'd assume that mag dump probably left a few holes leaking some bodily fluids which would get that newly exposed, and highly reactive metal; wet enough to get the party started.
      I like your explanation better though 😂😂😂
      So I say we forget physics and science stuff, and let religion have this one. 🤷

      Except people aren’t getting off because they don’t wanna do their jobs, it’s more likely the other way around, now that LE and the justice system is under so much (deserved imo but I’m not here to argue about that) scrutiny, they have to go more by the books, and the books have a lot of loopholes, plus the amount of bullshit cases that are brought in take up time that could be going to actual cases, if law enforcement stopped going after drug possession and use, prostitution and minor traffic infringements, there would be more time to prosecute the things that actually matter and affect large groups of people instead of individuals

    • @geometerfpv2804
      @geometerfpv2804 6 місяців тому +46

      @@kingzded5130 It has nothing to do with "going more by the books", it's that many states have had law changes that make it MANDATORY to release without bail. There have also been an enormous number of felonies that have been reduced to misdemeanors. In California where I live, more than half the felonies were reclassified as misdemeanors, and the "3 strikes rule" was also repealed so you get no sentence increase even if you commit hundreds of misdemeanors in the row.
      So, it's a legislative issue. It's not because of decisions judges are making. These laws force their hand.

      Some judges are Definitely responsible, but many times it's not them, but the "laws" passed by demented politicians. Oftentimes plea deals are an abuse of the system too. There's a reason the Founding Fathers despised plea deals and never made them part of our law. The only ever put innocent people in jail/prison... or they give the guilty a break (which is guaranteed with Each and Every plea deal of a guilty person).

My uncle did almost 10 years for attempted when he was attacked on his property. Lawyer told him if he’d killed the guy it wouldn’t have been a day. This was well over a decade ago now. I grew up in a Seattle suburb, as soon as we could after we got married, we knew we couldn't see raising children in that kind of environment, took us a while to save up enough, but we're now living in the middle of 12 acres, and although we aren't dumb enough to think we're totally safe from human predators, we've cut down considerably the amount of interaction with.....let's say the undesirables with evil intentions- I don't mind that we occasionally run into a Bobcat, bears even, a cougar was just spotted less than a mile from our place, but those critters aren't near as scary as the human animals😂!!!

    That Ex military officer gone kiddy diddler arriving with a gun tells me 1 of 3 things.
    1- he planned to do something malicious to the children or the parents if these actually were two young girls who invited him over.
    2- He knew or had a feeling this was a sting and wanted to get the drop on the people first.
    3- He carries anyways and his prior training identified a threat and had him react (albeit shitty).
    Not only has the Police protected and served he community by eliminating another Child predator, they have also helped to slightly unblemish the Military's reputation on this one.

      Probably all three, but what's interesting is in the video when they open the door he already has his hand in his jacket, presumably on his gun. He sees the cop, and decides to pull it anyway. My guess is he thought it was only one officer, didn't see the other two behind, and perhaps thought he was quick enough to draw on the one officer. His plan was to shoot the guy and bail, because he's a big sh1t military guy and thinks he still has the juice or whatever, he thinks he'll one-up this street cop.
