What's so exciting to me is that more so than Rogue One, Solo, and everything else in between episodes 3 and 4, this is going to FEEL like a middle chapter because it's following a main character who was in both 3 and 4.

Dude, there will be differences in animated characters and REAL people. Lots of factors in that equation. Functionality first and foremost. The diffent styles of animation used in the toons play a role. I mean think about it this way. Characters that appear in multiple animated shows have recognizable differences because of the different animation styles. Think about Count Dooku. People are fine with differences when a character goes from live to animated. We expect there to be differences but bring an animated character to life and for some reason you expect it to be identical.

For one thing if they were not going to use Jason Isaacs (I supoose he is obligated to be elsewhere) then they could have found someone more identical to the role. For another, the makeup and props department could do so much better, Hardly looks scaly like he should. 3rd they might as well make him cgi if they are not going to hire a lookalike. I expect an alien to look alien. Animation being stylized compared to reality is not the big factor here.

Trailer was sick my man. As soon as Duel of the Fates hit, I had goosebumps! Seeing Ewan Mcgregor reprise his role, is just such a cool moment. I grew up watching the prequels. I saw The Phantom Menace in theaters as a 7 year old kid. I collected the pepsi cans and the cool taco bell topper lids, and of course the action figures. Seeing all the SW toys down the toy aisle was so awesome as a kid. Obi Wan & Darth Maul have always been two of my favorites. I'm so hyped for this!! Sith Inquisitors!

I'm so glad most, if not all, pieces of music from the Mustafar duel made it into this trailer - I'll be even more happier once I hear them in the actual show. More so because, thematically, that's where the story is: going through a post-Mustafar world for Anakin and Obi-Wan with the Empire running rampant. Both are going to be equally haunted by the duel with a mixed bag of emotions: hurt, betrayal, loss, hatred, etc. This is the story that we've all been waiting for quite a while now.

It was so much fun listening to your thoughts on this. Regarding the inquisitors, I have an angle you may agree with. For me I think what makes the inquisitors so scary is not only their connection to the dark side but also the fact they have the weight of the Empire behind them. For someone like Obi Wan who wishes to remain hidden, to know inquisitors have landed on Tatooine must be terrifying. Even if he deals with them with ease, many more will come and, eventually, Vader himself. Then there's the fact that many (if not all) were former Jedi/Padawans. That means they are the perfect hunters for the Empire having known how the Jedi think and operate. Oh and then there's the fear of failing Vader. I'm sure that's a huge motivator to getting the job done. Haha! All in all I think skill is a very small part of what makes them dangerous. Well that's my two cents anyway. Sorry for the long post, I just love gabbing about Star Wars. May the Force be with you all!
I loved hearing that Phantom Menace was your first theater experience because Empire was mine (in fact it's my first memory of my life) and it's obvious how that has influenced our love of Star Wars. Thought the trailer was great. This is the piece of entertainment that I am anticipating more than anything, TV or movies.
It was a great mashup of Duel of the Fates and Battle of the Heroes. But the tragic horn blasts at the end are from “Anakin’s Dark Deeds,” my absolute favorite track from the RotS score. It’s the coda following his slaughter of the separatists, after the searing scene between Obi-wan and Padme, when we see Anakin standing on the bridge with his yellow eyes. Everything is set for their battle on Mustafar. I think it’s no coincidence to invoke that six-note phrase here!!
I wish I could remove the memory of the Star Wars movies and have a Friend, or my Dad (since that was our Shiii, when I was a kid) show me All the movies once again, so I can experience them for the First Time AGAIN! That would be Soo Badass to be able to see them with the eyes of someone who has never watched a single SW movie. 🤯😝 If you think about it, that's something that is Extremely hard to remember what that was like, how you felt, & what was going on in your mind when you were seeing your Favorite Films for the first time, other than Maybe the memory of viewing it, or if you had seen them in a much more recent time
Then, after I got to experience the magic of the First Time Viewing of SW, I do the same to my other fellow friends who love SW and just keep that Vibe rolling. 😅🙈
I was very impressed with the teaser. It give me two feelings as a older fan (born in 82) the first films are a big part of my childhood. I have a lot of love and respect for the Prequels. When it came to storytelling the prequels are beyond epic. This teaser gives me the best of both. I feel the original trilogy’s presence growing and the storytelling of the prequels along with the weight obi-wan has to bear. You feel it here. I’m very hyped on this one.

I've talked to a few people who've worked on projects with the "Volume" wall. They all say the full potential has not been unlocked. They're still learning everything it can do.
A Tatooine theme park sounds interesting. Imagine a huge area of the park where it's the Dune Sea. In that area you get to meet numerous Tusken tribes and go on Bantha rides with them. Have activities where you can create your own gaffi stick depending on which tribe you wish to join. Another area would be Jabba's Palace where its like a Bounty Hunter's hub where there's a big cantina for drinks and an activity area where Jabba sits on his throne giving you special bounties to hunt for.
I am so so excited for this series, it combines so much of my favorite characters, themes, and pieces. Can't wait for your reactions. As an aside, you should consider audiobooks. edit: i mean like... narrate audiobooks. whether or not you want to listen to audiobooks is your decision.
