Once again this is really great content. The only way it could get better is if you upgraded your voice recording process. You get too much natural reverb/echo and a better microphone and noise gate could help that. This isn’t a knock towards you, just giving some advice on a way to really bring the total quality up.
Just found your page. Thanks for spotlighting the Busch Series! ANy reason why you focused just on this race so heavily? It was a good race but I'd like to have seen more variety. Also some sound proofing or a better mic might be helpful.
Glad you enjoyed the video! Thank you for the feedback, I will be upgrading my mic for future episodes. As far as the focus on one event, the intent of this particular series is to focus on one race where drivers who were winless in the series nearly pulled it off as opposed to a focus on their overarching body of work.
@@zacharyleffler Once I watched more videos, I understood the theme more! It makes sense now. I've been rewatching all the BGN races from 93 till 2003. The story of Stacy qualifying for that Martinsville CUp race is very fascinating. No way would you even be making this video if it wasn't for that!
@braedonshelton2305 a driver that skipped Xfinity for cup, after sometime in the truck series. It can only apply to drivers who only made a few Xfinity starts, like up to seven for example. While running full time in the truck series, or just before they get a full-time truck ride for a few seasons.
He certainly had an unorthodox path to full time Busch Grand National series competition; with the focus of this video being centered on his time in that series, his career highlights explained prior to the 2002 season were merely to establish his background in NASCAR competition in chronological order.
@@zacharyleffler Right. Xfinity series bypasser Like Stacy, sometimes drop down to Xfinity for a few full-time seasons. And the more we get today, with the gen 7. Someday theses current Xfinity series bypassers drop down, and run full time.
I can’t really agree with this one. I think it was the 2002 Aaron’s 312. He was the leader for most of that race, got passed by Jason Keller on pit road and bc they were the only 2 cars left in the field he couldn’t get by him again Of course that doesn’t make for an interesting video so I can’t fault you for having this be the race
That’s a fair assessment, it was between those two for sure. I gave the nod to this one due to the similar margin of victory and that it was on a downforce track and not as the result of carnage in a plate race.
Great video. I always thought the kingsford car was a good looking ride.
Same here, great scheme!
I thought for sure Stacy had more success in BGN. I remember him being a consistent contender every week. Shame he never made it to BGN victory lane.
Felt like for sure he got one!
You should do a series on the closest a driver came to winning in there retirement season
Awesome idea!

Thank you
I remember his hood decal flying off at that crazy race at Talladega lol

That’s awesome, what a great time it was in that series, excellent competition week in and week out.
It looks like he had one more start in the Cup Series in 2012 finishing 39th at Pocono
Good catch!
Your first video, on a Xfinity series bypasser, is Stacy Compton. I think that should be clarified somewhat.
???

Can you do Tina Gordon
Wow. I can’t believe he never won

Compton was one of those drivers would be better than he was
