No one liked/likes them, despite their loyalty and willingness to sacrifice. Frieda Waterfall, Free Waterfall Sr, Free Waterfall Jr were all uneducated hypocrites and known to Leela, Leela who forsook Fry for his lack of Wit despite trusting those she adamantly despised, despite Fry being the best thing for her as she was unaware of just how good Fry was to her as how bad all of the respective three Waterfalls were wrong. Fry was known to Hutch, the one that was right (opposed to Leela), Fry was looked down upon for his good nature, something that Leela took an age to finally discover for truth despite her love for him. Sheseemed insulted by her love for such a simple and lowly man, when Earths most exalted was a sheer (forgive me) asshole (Branagon) . The Waterfalls were actually facets of the main characters and their alignment.

The waterfall family are an exmaple of futuramas pretty good continuity. Not only were they a consitent rcurring element of the series altogetehr, but each one appeared sequentially after declaring vengaence for the previous family who died, in what you'd oterwise think is a one off gag.

Futurama will always be my favorate animated series. It made me not only laugh, but cry too. I loved the episode where Beder gets shot into space and the one where Fry's dog waited his entire life for his return. I cried in front of my girlfriend and felt so stupid. I looked over and she was crying too.
