Mr. Michael Henry "Nicko" McBrain is the best! He's overcome so much in a short period to be & stay at the top of his game! TRULY the best single pedal... and absolutely the funniest... drummer in metal music! Pray he's able to keep going as he has for many more years to come! 🤘🏼🥁🤘🏼
greetings from Germany...it was the first tour after Bruce´s recovery from his throat cancer. I think his doc told him to recover at least 1-2 years before singing again. Too long for Bruce, he was on stage again after just 5-6 months
Dude, I literally, minutes ago just watched the Bands of His Majesty's Royal Marines (They have a YT channel) featuring Nicko McBrain at the Royal Albert Hall, London, the video was uploaded just a few days ago. They play a medley of Aces High, Wasted Years and Run To The Hills with guitar solos and a choir singing the lyrics, the video's about 11 minutes long and worth a reaction.
Yeah, King Charles is an Iron Maiden fan, so was Liz, the band has visited the Royal Family a couple times.

There was an interview back in the 90s with Bruce where he was telling a story of dinner at the Buck, the conversation got around to the stereotypical drug abusing rockers and the Queen was shocked to find that Iron Maiden members don't do drugs and she confessed that she had smoked weed for menstrual cramps.

Andrew you will see Bruce using the mic stand a lot more on the upcoming America's/South Pacific tour, as he did on the Europe leg. He had his hip(s)? done during one of the lockdowns and he is not running about as much, although he is still as fit as a fit thing and is currently touring with his latest album The Mandrake Project.
