This is absolutely gorgeous. I think the fact that it's off centre gives it more character than it would have had if it had been perfectly centred. Love it!
One word... AMAZING!!! When I was a little girl, our amusement park in the city had a booth where you spun a painting. It cost 50¢ and was so much fun! The designs were so pretty and unusual. Thank you for bringing that memory to mind. Your Kaleidoscope painting method brought forth another show piece! Love you ❤️
When you first lifted that strainer, I was in awe. It looked 3D so absolutely gorgeous and it's a shame you didn't have it on a canvas that same size and able to leave it without doing a spin. The painting turned out so wonderfully. Thank you, Molly
Another thing to do is , just saying, is to find the center of the radial canvas by measuring it and marking it with a marker. Creating a center hole in the center of the colander and lining it up with the center hole should help to balance the paint distribution. As we all do art, of course we all have processes and we are all learning! We can drill holes in a bowl and make some interesting designs into it too, lol. This is fun to watch, no worries about being nervous, it’s okay to trust the process.
I love love love this painting!! Almost as much as I love your enthusiastic love for painting! So many of the things you say I’ve said to myself out loud as I am painting, which is what I love about watching you. Your so real! Please keep filming and posting! You really do keep an amateur artist going for more. Thank you so much for that and all you do!
I can count on one hand the number of pours that have left me mind blown, this is one. I haven't liked a single colander pour I've seen until now. Leave it to you to make it amazing. I made my own big spinner, it was super easy and cheap with wood scraps I had laying around. I never ever planned to do a colander pour until this very moment but thank you for changing my mind 😍
Paints all mixed and settling for tomorrow. I need a colander first so a trip to the dollar store is in order. Between you and Gina DeLuca I'm gonna have a full pouring day tomorrow 😁 thank you for being so inspiring!
Oh, amazing and gorgeous!! I love it! I usually am not crazy about these Convexo canvases but this technique on this canvas is fantastic. Thank you!!! 💐❣️. Also, Jessica at Winterstrom Art also makes spinners. She does large works , too. 💖
Even the left over paint is a beautiful color. My sister loves kaleidoscope so I am going to attempt one for her. I am sure it won't come out as well as yours because I am very much a beginner but it will come from my heart, sometimes that's all you need. Thank you so much, I really enjoy your videos,
It is ALL beautiful before the spin. I cannot take my eyes off that inner most white w the (blue?) lines. It reminds me of an intricate stained glass window. Ok now that it is spun all the way...it is still AWESOME! Great job...and I'm glad u stopped when u did. I too often over think projects for what I THINK is perfection..lol But that's just it. You got it girl! Perfect. Enjoyable watching and great how to vid.THANK U
Hi Molly I love your beautiful art. This art form really fascinates me thanks for all your uploads. I havent heard from Olga in a while I hope she is ok
Another work of art! When I was talking to a friend about wanting to get into acrylic pour art and even showed her a few of your and Olga's pieces, she said "Well, the people who do that only do it because they can't really paint"; I had never pegged her for an "art snob". Then I showed her some of your commission pieces as well ( I save everthing you do for inspiration). 'Nuf said.
Oh my gosh, Molly!! Gorgeous!!! I bought a new larger Convexo canvas after you did that beautiful wave pour. Now you have me wanting to try this! So pretty!
This Kaleidoscope pour, is amazing Molly. That centre really captures the eye and as your eyes move further afield, you have all that beautiful line work. I certainly do love this one. ♥️💯♥️💐
It's always amazing to me, how the colors turn out together after pouring *.* When ever you show the paint in the cups my first thought is: Urgs, I don't like this color and that color doesn't go along with the others .... Then you pour them onto the canvas and all I can think is: Wow! Awesome! I really love it!
Miss Molly, you have the most infectious laugh! It is absolutely sweet and wonderful. That turned out perfect! I love the colors too! It is really beautiful and asymmetrical can often create more beauty!
Molly this is absolutely stunning and in my favorite colors as well…. I would love to come to Florida to see you in action….to me it looks like stained glass
This painting takes me back to my childhood, and my favorite Kaleidoscope. It's absolutely beautiful, I love it.
This is the most beautiful painting ever.
Big diamond rocks in the middle and I see lots of rabbit faces with ears around the edge Molly! Glad you tried again because this is STUNNING!
The pattern is really amazing. It looks like a mandala. Well explained and shown .
This is absolutely gorgeous. I think the fact that it's off centre gives it more character than it would have had if it had been perfectly centred. Love it!
Just beautiful! I dream of the day
I am able to design beautiful art as the many pourers do.
thank you so much, I'm sure you can!
With it being slightly off-center it looks more organic, like a seashell almost. It’s just beautiful. I’m excited for you.
