Thank you so much for this very helpful and comprehensive video! Especially glad to see I'm not the only one having to fudge the border count at corners!
I love this border! I'm currently working on a standard Call The Midwife blanket and was thinking about what I wanted to do as a border. Thanks! Blessings all!!!!! 💜💜 PS I also prefer Susan Bates hooks and Caron Simply Soft. 😳
I want to thank you I'm making a blanket for a gift for friends and I couldn't decide what mortar to put on I came across yours and I think it's going to work great I'm going to use a light blue then a gray scallop because the blanket is great what do you think thanks for sharing I love your videos hun I've been subscribed to you for a long time I don't always comment but I'm always here LOL
Hello, I’m starting this pattern for a blanket. I would love to have the written pattern beside me to follow along with the video. Is there one somewhere? TIA!
Like the border, but if you only put 2 V sts in the corner then put your 7 DC's in the 1st V st, you are not really in the actual center of the corner. I tried a ch 1 between the 2 V sts and did the 7 DC's in that with a SC on each side and liked that better. Just saying. TFS
It’s a shame you only made a few videos (10s of thousands of views!!) … I am so curious what happened to you! I made this lapghan for a friend and am on the last row for the border 🙂
I find this video confusing. You started the first row of v stitches with ch2 but then you started the second row with ch3!! When you tried to slip stitch into the first row the sample dropped out of camera range, so I couldn't see how you did it! You also misspoke a couple of times.

I absolutely love this border, now you've inspired me to make the call the midwife blanket!
I love the butterfly 🦋 blanket. I just did a midwife scarf never thought of doing a second row of chain 4. Very nice! It’s beautiful!
