The paint chipping away or degrading on the calipper is true actually, had my calipper replaced in warrenty. Otherwise a great car and it really is made for the Ring! The stock brakes are otherwise pretty good to be honest and Ive heard mixed stuff about the EBC ones.
Ironic cuz my chipped paint on my caliper was from people hitting the rim against my caliper doing my wheel work😭
@@kuseiii_3845 For me it was chipping from the side, where it cant be damaged actually. Looked like water got under the paint and corriosion started.

I’ve been watching a lot of Misha’s videos lately. I went back and watched the 919 EVO record lap and it’s absolutely mind boggling to see how much faster it is. It’s like watching 10x fast forward.
Great drive out and nice to see you get a crazy lap in with the same people who had trouble with their C63 AMG.

Nice to see how Misha reacts in footcam while sliding, instead of pressing panic brake, he applies little gas and let the wheels to find grip.

Have a 2016 STI. First thing I did when I needed breaks was get a set of front and rear Gyro disk 2 piece rotors, Stainless braided lines front and rear, and AP DOT5.1 660 break fluid. Combined with the Oz rims the car is far better and the breaks never fade anymore.
I have the 19 veloster n and the brakes are amazing. And im stage 2 fbo lap3 v2.5 mode 3, 290whp. Stock brakes are not weak at all
2:55 I had the same noise on my twingo RS and it was actually an engine tensionner that was touching the engine bay... The engine mount was bolted on too much on the left not leaving the engine enough room to move in the engine bay (for those who have a similar noise)

veloster N is the US equivalent. they stopped making them in 2022 but you can find them all over used. I have one and I love it. I've actually owned 2

Misha if you can, do a coverage with a 9FF porsche(1200hp was it) . it did beat the Chiron 0-300 and back to 0 kph. so our anglo saxon friends understand what german engineering actually means. And the son of the company owner his name is Jannis Fatthauer who is building these engines too is not shy of youtube)

Can I ask you what pressures did you use with p-zero on track? Cause everyone take the recommended for road 2.5bar but I think it's to high.

Nearly bought one... but stayed with Ford and got a Mark IV Focus manual... still, these are an extremely good car.. every bit as good as mine.... and in some ways, better in the track focus side.
Still... I do prefer my Mark IV Focus manual in orange Fury.

I30 N is such fun to drive. But those brakes… i agree it might be better thats why i am going to change pads and discs. But overall it is great car for its price and even more funny to drive then other cars
Im a complete noob about newer cars, you dont have to revmatch while downshifting at all? I do it in my 2005 golf, it makes the drive much less twitchy, especially when having passengers. Let me know, i have no ideea on this subject
