    thanks for the video. I was wondering if you could show an example of creating a hole, and then have the threads start a few mm from the top of the square. i.e. the threads do not start until a certain depth in the hole is reached. Thank you!

      I managed to hack a solution. e.g. If you need a 20mm deep hole, and you want 15mm deep thread, starting 5mm down from the top surface. You extrude your surface to 15mm. Now put in your thread all the way through, as normal. Now just select your top surface and extrude up the 5mm. Hope that makes sense.

      @@sar2908 yes, I think that would work. I tried making two of the same shapes and added just a hole to one and the thread to the other, then I merged the shapes. I think both would work well.
