- Opening December 2023!
The Fontainebleau Las Vegas (formerly The Drew Las Vegas) is a hotel and casino currently under construction on the Las Vegas Strip in Winchester, Nevada. It is on the 24.5-acre (9.9 ha) site previously occupied by the El Rancho Hotel and Casino and the Algiers Hotel. The project was announced as Fontainebleau Las Vegas in May 2005, with initial plans to begin construction by March 2006, and to have the resort opened by 2008. It was intended to be a sister property to the Fontainebleau Miami Beach hotel. It would be developed by Fontainebleau Resorts, which was owned by Jeff Soffer.

Yay! Thank you!
Heeeees back! Great to see you again, Ken! Love your takes and commentary! Your neighborhood tours And restaurant ratings I’ve always loved!
Thanks! I want to get back to restaurants that I've never visited...
Finally
Yep!
That end of the strip is on the come up. 👍🏿
Man I hope so. I walked through Resorts World on this day and many of the restaurants in the Famous Food Street area had yet to open for the day. I think it was about 4pm or so. I didn't know, but a fish and chips shop replaced one of the restaurants. I think it was about $17.95 or so for a meal.
@@OneManOneCamera WOW, 4pm and some restaurants not open is NOT good. Resorts World seems a bit overrated.
@@creothetraveler4945 Not good at all. Not sure about the weekends.
Resorts World gets mixed reviews on social media postings. Some like it, some say it feels like a shopping mall.
I just hope the place stays busy and can easily make those loan payments. lol
Awww Buddy you did it, you gave us our update, Much appreciated and awesome visuals too!
Thanks man!
Great vlog! Looking forward to seeing the interior 🙂
Me too! I would really like to have a walk through.
Thanks for the update! It will be nice to see it finally open.
I agree!
Man that’s crazy… I went to Vegas for the first time when I was 14… I’m 39 and this place still hasn’t opened…
And it hasn't opened yet, either: December is still a ways away....
@ThickCutOhio - That must feel strange to see something in progress for some many years.
@@williamwingo4740 Let's hope this is the time when everything comes together.
@@OneManOneCamera I always remembered it as the big blue mysterious building across the street from Circus Circus.
@@OneManOneCamera Let's hope....
Good to see you active again brother ken …thanks for the update
Thanks man!
It’s been a minute
That's true.
Glad to see your back, thnx for the update 👍🏻🙏🏼
Thank you!
Where is your footage of the Sphere from the 4th of July! It's grand debut?
lol, uploading right now.
If I were in charge of the FountainBleu project, I definitely wouldn't be releasing any photos until it's confirmed done, because honestly, who knows with this one, since it's basically been ongoing since 2005.
I thought about your comment and you are probably on the right track.
That whole entrance off the southwest corner was originally supposed to be video screens. Sad to see they ditched that idea.
Oh that's right. Those screens would would have been nice.
Will there be a swimming pool here ? Thanks for the video
There is a pool, it's located in an area you cannot see from the street.
If they can't open by the 2nd week of December then they should wait until next year. Trying to open during the holidays would not work in their favor.
Hopefully, everything will go well as this place does need a break.
Matthew 6:19-21 NKJV
"Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal; [20] but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. [21] For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.,
