I literally just joined the local group because of this video. I'd had three bizarre first dates in the last three months on a dating app and the men's reactions were so crazy, I think someone might need to know. Before meeting my now partner, the number of “Christian” men I briefly encountered who had that very same self-righteous, “holier than thou” form of misogyny, while also being manipulative and somehow having a victimhood mindset, was just wild. I say this as a Christian woman. I do think that the faith community needs to sit down and reflect on the gender ideals and roles being taught and accepted… She had every right to judge.
One important aspect is that preachers seem to love preaching about the wife being submissive to her husband, but they tend to leave out the part that tells husbands to submit to their wives. Tip from an ex-studio manager and back piece haver: stick a large piece of cling film (Saran wrap?) onto a door/mirror/other smooth surface. Apply your lotion to the plastic and rub your back against it. For cleaning it should be enough to just foam up the product in your hands and let te foam slide down your back over the tattoo before rinsing it off.

Five years ago, my wife and I were facing divorce because of problems in our marriage, but we managed to resolve them. It was challenging, but we survived.

I literally just joined the local group because of this video. I'd had three bizarre first dates in the last three months on a dating app and the men's reactions were so crazy, I think someone might need to know. Fwiw, I suspect they dating app has a section for the men too. Because after the last one my dating app has totally stalled dead. So you have to be REALLY careful with what you say because if you’re warning women about abusive men they’ll find out and then they get even worse. So some women post as anonymous members to be safe. Before meeting my now partner, the number of “Christian” men I briefly encountered who had that very same self-righteous, “holier than thou” form of misogyny, while also being manipulative and somehow having a victimhood mindset, was just wild. I say this as a Christian woman. I do think that the faith community needs to sit down and reflect on the gender ideals and roles being taught and accepted…

One important aspect is that preachers seem to love preaching about the wife being submissive to her husband, but they tend to leave out the part that tells husbands to submit to their wives. Droves of men out here demanding submissive wives who they won't treat with an ounce of respect because they were only taught about the woman's submissiveness, and obviously don't actually read the bible for themselves either.

I did this but unfortunately my “friend” was way too far gone and had convinced herself that he would never cheat on her. She’s an absolute rocket and a very kid and sweet girl so I never understood why he cheated on her. It CONFIRMED my belief when he asked ME if I wanted to sneak away to his vehicle to have sex when we were all hanging out. I wanted to vomit. I started distancing myself but I felt so guilty that I told her I had heard rumours that he was sleeping with her friends. She got mad at me and told me I was jealous and trying to break them up- she also said that her boyfriend “no longer wanted her hanging out with a girl who would start much malicious rumours about him” I cut my losses and I STILL look back and feel so bad for her. To top it all off, she would confide in me that he didn’t like being intimate with her anymore and anytime she would try to initiate he would turn her down. It made her really self conscious and she thought it was because something was wrong with HER!! Fuck man some people are just sick

I thought that bc he's not registered, he also has no rights, but I talked to a lawyer today and it looks like I will most likely have to do this through the courts (which I absolutely hate, I've had so many bad experiences with our court system and free legal aid is hard to come by)..

Tip from an ex-studio manager and back piece haver: stick a large piece of cling film (Saran wrap?) onto a door/mirror/other smooth surface. Apply your lotion to the plastic and rub your back against it.
