Keep those videos coming. Something a lot of people don't realize is that you see real 3D in the helmet. Some people think that it's just a 2d view with rotation using your head. In reality, the main difference is that you perceive depth just like in the real world.

Many think vr is just a gimmick. But vr is more like a shroom trip.
Without actually playing it in vr you truly can't understand just how incredible it is
It puts a smile on my face every single time I put on the vr headset and start racing. It just looks so good.. every car interior is so good.. I love looking over my shoulder and seeing the back seat or roll cage.. reading the gauges.. kinda wish there was an option to display times of everyone you’re racing like position and time difference for the car behind you and in front..

I’ve played many racing games in VR on my PC and My Favorite is Kart Kraft which is Go Kart Racing. But, this GT7 is on another level. It really is Best of the Best!
@@solace4114 Honestly as a first time VR user with the PSVR2 I don't know if it's my settings or what but the game looks blurry always and I don't feel fully immersed. I've played a bunch of other games and mostly they look great, especially the less demanding visual experience games, they're always perfectly clear and look great, but I think the overall graphics of GT7 being pushed to its VR mode I think you definitely feel a sacrifice in visuals. I don't know how some people say it's not blurry and will swear you calibrated your headset wrong, but if that was the case for me then the other dozen games I own would also be blurry... And they're not.
It's not bad at all though, overall it looks great but I just can't unsee the blur, I wish I didn't notice it.

yeah..but you do have something on your face...it causes motion sickness and fatigue...the picture is not as sharp as a flat screen tv - not by a mile - for me it's blurry - very disappointed actually by the psvr2

@@איתןקליינברג you would have also a helmet on your Face in real life when driving this cars and race so its even more realistic to have something on your face while driving.
@@איתןקליינברג You have to find the sweet spot to eliminate the blurriness. It had to be properly adjusted on your face, try out different adjustments until it’s clear. Also make sure your ipd and eye tracking are properly adjusted
Played it a lot on “flat” screen and got my vr2 and redbull play seat on the same day and it was the greatest sensation i have ever had with a game. People that dont own this would never understand
I think this video more than any other you have made on this subject has solidified my purpose in saving for it's purchase. My main concern was always the driving viewpoint, those fears have now been alleviated 😁👏

yooo I finally figured out how to get crystal clear image! So whenever you set up the IDP, first set it middle of your pupils top to bottom then look at the left eye circle then look at the right pupil circle. Turns out my right eye sort of floats slightly off center! so my headset did feel totally straight but me cheating it towards my right eye has given me super clarity. I can read all the interior stuff no blur and even the number boards! After a few days I've truly found what I bought it for and it was glorious!

@@tgk3624 I had a fan blowing full force last night at le mans. Felt like driving with the windows down. Unbelievably good lol. I was worried for a little that the hype was overblown but wow it's so damn good.
I could see this working because I feel like the whole blue circle effect is almost too forgiving when it really needs to be dead center. My eye drifts a little too each time I try it

To anyone questioning whether or not to get the psvr2 I was in the same boat and i was not sure because I saw a lot of the comments saying that the psvr2 was blurry and not very good. first thing you need to make sure that you have the headset on properly. This might take you some time playing with the position but once you get it right it will make a huge difference. I can also tell you the GT7 doesn't look photorealistic but is not the point. The point of VR is to give you depth and a sense of speed when racing which it does! I can honestly say that playing GT7 with the VR was the most fun I have ever had in my life.
Just got mines today. I am extremely beyond impressed with this VR. It's like I'm really inside a real life car.

We should have a button to disable hud elements while driving - similar to how Assetto Corsa has it
That feeling of the sun being so bright and warm you can feel the heat is something absolutely crazy about VR and I've only felt it playing GT Sport on PSVR
Really wish we could manually select specifically what HUD metrics we want to see. Like just leave position and number of laps for example. Or better yet the option to turn on or off the pit crew radio giving you the info.

yea i'm 6'6 and I always lower my head and lean forwards to recalibrate the view. when i get up it looks much more natural

Have you tries karts in PS VR2 on GT7? It looks and feels awesome!
You can get those same views in non VR mode, but for actual racing, you get no feedback on laps, time, tyres, fuel etc.
So it's great for time trials but for competitive racing you get no feedback for the actual race.
So you sacridice HUD settings for full immersion. A bit like other racing games no doubt, by removing all HUD info.

I really hate how youtubers are deceiving their viewers too with those clickbaity titles. He‘s talking about lifelike immersion but calls it real world graphics, by turning off ingame graphics. Maybe his real world vision is just as blurry and he doesn’t see a difference 😂

Hud doesn't change graphics. Head position dosent change graphics.
I’m learning to drive (taking lessons on the road with instructor). I’d love some practice with pace on the road/steering wheel/taking bends etc. Can a setup with G29 help at all (I’m driving automatic) or will it only confuse me? Thanks!
Welcome! A G29 and Pedals will definitely help with awareness, I would recommend cockpit view, and consider a shifter if you'll be using one in real life!
I dont think many ppl realize that all the info thats presented to you is only distracting you from driving great, the focus should be 100% on the driving nothing else.
But, how do you tell about your fuel levels to know when to pit in races with simulated wear and fuel consumption? Or change the power levels to conserve fuel in those races? I loved driving without all the info but that means I can't play those longer races..

Going offset might help with cars where you're not in the center of the car. Yeah it's not a natural real position to be in, but you'll have better perception of the other side of your vehicle and that could potentially help you drive better in certain, wider cars.
I wonder why can't they make a racing game where when you add tuning to your car it's really in depth. Like if you have a stock exhaust it's quiet. Then when you put a performance exhaust the exhaust actually sounds different! If I add exhaust I want to be able to hear that difference. If I put a turbo on I want to be able to hear that. And a supercharger.. I wanna hear that difference.. If you installed cams I want to hear it loap.. Things like that.. I hate games when you install all these different parts and nothing changes but the speed! I dunno maybe it's just me.
I agree with you. Also would like to have the automatic cars act like autos in real life. Not go to redline before it shifts. Or if you floor it, it will downshift by itself like a regular car thats automatic

Got PSVR2 today, the sweet spot is definitely less forgiving than I expected so the clarity is definitely not what you’re seeing in these videos, it’s clear enough to enjoy the game
Greatest no go for GT7 is the bad AI. That said, it is a nice layback racer.. and I recognise the head experience. Your brain tells you that it is warm even it isn’t your own arm. Really cool to experience indeed. I have this with other VR games as well.
Try wearing long sleeves the next time you play. It can get a bit hot, but it really helps with the sunburn. 😎

❤ the Xbox Shirt with the PlayStation Headset. You know if Xbox made Forza Horizon 5 in VR I probably would enjoy it even more than I did. But, Now I am playing Gran Turismo 7 and even outside of VR it is Amazing. But, being able to go into VR mode whenever you desire is Magnificent! Hats off to Sony!

Omg, so the ultra secret setting is to turn off the hud? Thats so epic. And for some reason this idea popped in my mind about 1 week after I got the game. Its like magic. Anyway thanks for uploading a video of it. Disclaimer, the PSVR2 image looks a lot more blurry than the replay capture. Sometimes you also see things pop in etc. Anyway the combination of it all still makes it an epic experience.

Turn the brightness up to max in game. It really seems to crisp up the image more than the default setting

I'm new to GT7 and VR...(and streaming, lol) any tips on using the shifter th8a with GT7? i noticed i can use the shifter in some areas but not others and also i noticed on some cars you have to use the clutch and others you don't (like more modern cars with paddles you can shift with the th8a without pushing in the clutch)

When its just that you cant use the clutch/gears pop in without clutch its the transmission... need to use ,,fully adjustable manual,, in every car :)

just one fail: when you play Ferrari Enzo in VR2 u hear the engine noise comming from the bonnet when must come from the back of your head.
I supose it happens the same with any other mid or tail engine.

Found out that height hack as an accident but I'm using it constantly. I'm somewhat tall and the default driver hight feels kinda low for me most of the time, so I usually set it so I'm higher in the car 😂
How can i use this in board hack? Iam sitting on the floar lol
@@LocalHero2381989 it's just like he shows in the video, you need to reset the center position of the VR in the opposite manner you want your camera. So, if you want to be taller and further back in the car you get your head lower and forwards and recenter your view (either hold the options(start) button or press the passthrough button twice). Than get into your regular sitting position, you'll be higher and further back in the virtual car.

How do you manage to make the halo centre post transparent?
Is this tv screen or vr playback?
Colour-wise , the colour palette from when the track was wet seemed a lot more realistic that at the end when it was dry. The colours still seem too saturated to give you that photo-realistic colour palette
Colour isn't as good on VR. The lighting had to be toned down a bit for performance sake
You can adjust the saturation and exposure in the pause menu in-game, I’ve turned it down a couple notches and it looks way more realistic
Hey Kiren. Am I missing something? I cant seem to find a way to get up close to the cars in the showroom when using the G29 wheel. No sticks and nothing else works. (Remember, Im old and cant find things in the fridge either)
Try look at them while standing. You can walk completely around them.

Is it just me… or why is nobody telling the actual truth about the clarity/fidelity/quality of PSVR? It’s NOT what you’re seeing on this screen. The quality is good…but it’s not crystal clear, 4K quality. It’s grainy and hazy around the edges with words appearing fuzzy. I’ve owned a PSVR 2 since launch and I like it…but was it a drastic leap in quality over Quest 2? Not so much. It is better…but no….when you have the headset on…it certainly does not look like what you’re watching on your television or device.

@@Kireth No… I’m probably just salty because I have a screwed up crooked face or something. I have made a million tweaks and adjustments and I’m not getting quality any better than Quest. It makes me believe it’s just the shape of my dumb head. When calibrating and in the right location - the headset is noticeably crooked by several degrees and so is the text that pops up. I keep hearing people rant and rave about the quality… but I’m just not seeing it.
Ultimate emersion would be if Sony could create an affordable VR 360 interactive game chair. This would change everything, especially with the Logitech wheel! Can you imagine playing the Movies on VR ,like predator,Alien, James Bond, The Matrix , The Warriors,ect! THEY need to get more innovative with this new technology! Would have loved to see God of war(Greek pantheon) in VR and Mortal Kombat!😰 Let's go y'all!💯

That heat on your arm feeling only lasts for a little while. I guess when your brain figures out it's not real the illusion fades. That's the thing for me, its only temporary, amazing for maybe a couple weeks if that. Then your clever ass brain sees all the bullshit and you start seeing the drop in graphics, etc. But i would argue that the initial wow factor is great😅 £500+ great? I dunno, but most places do a 30 day no qubbile return period. They can be faulty, very slow to scan the room for example 😉

i've asked numerous other people and I haven't gotten any return comment the picture that I'm seeing right now explains why people get sick under the headset. I just ordered my PS VR too. It will be here next month but if it looks like this, I will be sending it back immediately, no one's head moves around that fast. The picture is jerking so quickly but it would be unplayable for me. Please tell me this is not what I'm going to see or experience if I move my head a tiny bit and it jerks there and 1000th of a second, I will be sending it back immediately. This is nothing like moving my head from side to side or looking from side to side or even just looking forward could you please elaborate on what you're seeing under that headset? I believe a lot of people would buy if they didn't see this jerky Jenkee video on every single VR two headset video on UA-cam maybe more people would buy it if it didn't look like that, I'm sure people see these videos and holy crap that looks insanely sickening

It's there but almost transparent. It would be nice to keep it completely opaque or at least change its opacity. Maybe there is such a setting?

@@Bricks56 But its only what you are looking directly at in the center correct? Everything else is a little blurry, and it doesn't seem to have foveated rendering where what i look at is crisp. Seems like I have to turn my head because whatever is in the center is focused.

Maybe i wants it to look just like my 77 G2 oled but it never will be and i understand that. But the menu's look blurry to. And the grain is hard to deal with. This game is so good in vr.
The basic adjustments even on flat screen feel poor since gt sport. They really need to up the options
GT7 does NOT look like this on VR. PSVR2 has great immersion but horrible display. It’s not a crisp and clear experience. There’s a slight blurriness in your field of view. Almost like you need glasses but I wear contacts. And when your driving by all those signs and people, there is a slight ghosting effect which is very annoying. This is my first VR experience and while I’m blown away by the immersion, I am supremely disappointed in the display. I guess because I have been watching videos like these that give the implication that what you’re seeing on this video is what you’ll experience in VR. You won’t. Manage your expectations before purchasing.

@@KirethWell I just got one so…..I only just heard about this headset like 2 weeks ago. I’m not a “gamer”. I’ve owned all the PlayStations since it’s inception but I don’t spend slot of time gaming. The only game I really play is GTA. I just find other games boring and limited. But I wanted to try VR and heard about this headset. I’m playing catch up. lol.
Oops. I wish I would have seen this video before I sold my PS5. It makes a huge difference not having that blurry text on the screen. Damn it!
Blurry? If it was blurry you didn’t find your sweet spot.
First thing I did was turn off all assists and race and car display. I dint understand why people would have any of those things on in vr
Even GT5 had the tyre dirt thing lol.
