Thanks for this video. You got a great deal on that machine, what a blessing. I loved that you had your little princess recording for you. I hope your business is going well!!! Many blessing from Atlanta, GA
I started a job running sewing machines last weekend. We making tournaquits for the government. I remembered watching this video. We about to be makin tsa uniform pants. Started at 18 potential to get bumped up to 20 hr. Not too bad.
Thanks carnal, my mom been sewing for over 30 years and now that I'm in the business i have to learn. My plan is one day be able to work on my own interior, i still have a long way to go but I'm getting there. Thank you for watching
@@JCGLASSHOUSE75 oh ok I've done some research & it shows that is one of the best if not the best for upholstery. I'm looking for one myself, you got a really good deal.
I’m going to check out one of these sewing machines for my bag business. Thank you for sharing, seems like an excellent machine for seeing thick fabric and even bags
I'm trying to learn as well. I found out, you can use pins. To hold your material when sewing seems. You just pull the pins out, as you go. Instead of folding every few inches. Good video bro.
You should really look at buying fabric sewing clips on Amazon you can get 100 for under 10.00 , you can clip the folded hem up and just buzz through those , awesome job . Both of you.
Great tutorial, and machine demo. I’ve been thinking about purchasing an industrial since I have “home” machines and I sew bags with very thick seams. Thank you.
If an industrial seems too expensive- I purchased a semi industrial straight stitch by janome- brother I think makes the most affordable at around $800, and it sews through layers of leather like butter.
Sorry for the late response, you can go to www.wawak.com that's where I get my supplies from and ask them if they have one for your machine. Hope this information can help with your question.
You just have to learn how to control the pressure on the pedal, it takes a little bit of time. That was one of my problems but after you spend time with her it would get easier.
You can better control speed by putting a smaller pulley on your clutch motor. More torque and less speed. If you have a few extra bucks check out a servo motor. They are much more controllable and some have needle positioners. You might also want to check out how to shorten jeans and leave the original hem on. Some people like that weathered used look on bottom of jeans. ua-cam.com/video/P02Mne95-s8/v-deo.html Good luck bro
Bro I commend you however you’re marking it wrong. You’re outer seam won’t be straight when you lay the inner and outer seam on top of each other. Been doing alterations for years
@@JCGLASSHOUSE75 hi, make sure you line up both seems on top of each other and then you make your line. Just my two cents. Thanks for sharing the video. I am looking forward to getting one of those machines for me. God bless you!

Will this machine sew through a couple layers of Superman mesh plastic mesh along with keterweld and a couple layers of nylon webbing?
Congratulations on your business..
Thanks carnal, been a family business since 2004.
what kind of thread do you use for the jeans? when I use regular thread on jean material it does not stay so I know I need something stronger.
Good job

How can I get one please
Hi,
How do I slow down the speed down a bit? I was given Juki DDL 5550 and I'm just learning to sew.
You just have to learn how to control the pressure on the pedal, it takes a little bit of time. That was one of my problems but after you spend time with her it would get easier.

Thank you , I guess what I need is patience.
Depending on your model some come with a speed adjuster under the table by the power button but not the one I'm using
You can change out the clutch motor for a servo motor. It will help you control the speed a lot more.
👍 the video bro keep it up

Yes, that's a good price
How do you like that machine?
She been good to me, still going strong. It was s bit hard at the beginning getting used to the speed bit know I'm ok with her
