Does this mean many nice features of the machine such as synchronisation, stop with needle up or down, back tack, etc. will be lost?

If I recall, the computer functionality didn't work anyhow, and it was 220 volt, she wanted 110 volt so long story short, it was a broken "parts" machine that has come back to life. I don't recall what functions or options the machine itself had...

It's been a while since I did the "upgrade" but I think I just backed off the belt tension adjustment to put the belt on...
